Chapter 14: Colin Creevey
After yesterday's sorting ceremony, and this morning's roaring trade storm, Evan became famous, and almost all Hogwarts students knew about him.
At least in his first year, Al had become a well-known celebrity, enjoying the same treatment as Harry, and was watched everywhere he went.
One of the most excited is his roommate, Colin Creevey, who runs up to Evan near the end of breakfast and invites him to join him to class, though Evan suspects that his main purpose is Harry.
He saw Colin press the camera shutter vigorously against Harry's back.
"Colin, if you will, I can introduce Harry to you. Evan looked at Colin and said tentatively, "You look like you adore him?"
"Yes, Aven!" Colin replied eagerly, "I know everything about Harry Potter, everyone told me how he escaped the Mystery, how the Mystic Man disappeared, etc., and his lightning-shaped scar, can you beg him to show me?"
"It's rude, Colin!" Evan looked at the guy with a headache, "but I guess it's fine, Harry shouldn't mind." ”
"Oh my God, it's unbelievable. As if receiving a Christmas present, Colin said excitedly, "You know, until I received another letter from Hogwarts, I didn't know that the strange thing I was going to do was magic. My dad was delivering milk, and he couldn't believe it, and my brother Dennis, and I was going to take a lot of pictures and send them them. ”
"By the way, when it comes to these photos, you can get them moving with just the right development potions. ”
"Tell me, what is going to do?"
Next, Evan followed the topic of photos and naturally invited Colin to become a special cameraman for "Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry", originally worried that he would refuse, but the kid was simply overjoyed and circled around Evan several times.
By the time they arrived at the Charms classroom, everyone was seated.
Professor Flitwick stood on a stack of books behind the lectern, roll call with the roster, and Evan and Colin slipped quietly next to Ginny.
The Gryffindor class was attended with the Hufflepuff students, and Professor Flitwick spent an hour talking about how to use a wand in front of the first-year students, especially many Muggle-born children.
It was almost time before the end of the class that he asked everyone to take out their wands and practice them in the postures he said.
These things were too simple for Aven, but seeing that Colin and Ginny beside him were learning very seriously, he also waved his wand with everyone.
The next class was the history of magic, and as the only course in the school taught by a ghost, everyone had some expectations for Professor Binns.
Many of the new Gryffindors thought that Professor Binns would be as funny as Nick, who almost lost his head, but they were quickly disappointed. During the lesson, Professor Binns kept talking in a monotonous voice, and they scribbled down names and dates below, confusing the wicked Merrick with the weird Eurek.
Evan had known this was going to happen, and instead of taking notes, he took out a book on potions and read it, so that as long as he didn't disturb Professor Binns's lecture, he didn't have to worry about being discovered.
When it was time to eat at the Great Hall at noon, Evan met Harry and them at the door.
Ron looked a little depressed, as if he hadn't recovered from the morning shouting letter, and Harry and Hermione were whispering about Hogwarts Wizardry and Wizardry.
Evan went up to say hello and introduced Colin to Harry.
After getting to know each other, Colin begged Harry to let him take a picture, "Maybe I can stand next to you and ask Evan to help him press the shutter." Then, can you sign me a name?"
Harry looked at Colin with some embarrassment, then at Aven, and before he could answer, he heard a loud, high-pitched shout not far away.
"Autographed photo, you're sending autographed photo, Potter?"
Draco Malfoy walked up behind Colin and flanked by his two big, vicious nemesis, Crabbe and Goyle.
"Everybody line up!" Malfoy shouted to the crowd in the Great Hall, "Harry Potter is going to send autographed photos!"
"I didn't. Harry said angrily, clenching his fists.
Evan noticed that Ron and Hermione were getting nervous as well, and they were in a state of readiness.
"Shut up, Malfoy!" Ron shouted.
"You're jealous!" Colin said sharply, his entire body the thickness of Crabbe's neck.
"Jealousy?" Malfoy squinted, he didn't need to shout anymore, almost everyone in the Great Hall was listening, "Jealousy, I don't want an ugly scar on my head, thank you." I don't think that having your head cut open makes you so special. ”
Hearing his words, Crabbe and Goyle smirked.
"Eat the slugs, Malfoy!" Ron angrily drew his wand, which he patched up with magic tape, sparks sparkling from time to time.
"Watch out, Ron!" Hermione reminded in a low voice.
At the sight of Ron's wand, Crabbe and Goyle stopped laughing and began to rub their chestnut-like knuckles viciously.
"Be careful, Weasley!"
Malfoy sneered, "Don't get into trouble anymore, or your mother will have to come and take you back if you don't follow the rules!"
He picked up Mrs. Weasley's voice as a group of fifth-year Slytherin students laughed loudly not far away.
"Weasley wants an autographed picture, Potter!" Malfoy smirked, "it's worth more than his house." ”
Harry gasped and angrily drew his wand, and Evan thought for a moment and pulled it out. The Gryffindor and Slytherin students beside them drew their wands one after another, and for a moment the saber rattled for a moment.
"What's going on, what's going on?" Gilderoy Lockhart strode over to them, his turquoise robe fluttering behind him, "who's sending autographed photos?"
Harry tried to open his mouth to explain, but Lockhart put an arm around his shoulder and shouted merrily, "No need to ask!
Harry was caught next to Lockhart, feverish with humiliation, and he saw Malfoy triumphantly retreat into the crowd.
"Come on, Mr. Creevey," Lockhart greeted Creevey with a smirk, "a double photo, it couldn't be a good deal, and we two will sign it for you." ”
Colin clumsily picked up the camera and clicked the shutter tremblingly.
Evan hurriedly pulled him into the Great Hall, there was no need to continue to stand here to embarrass Harry, Hermione and Ron angrily followed them, Ron kept saying bad things about Malfoy.
Harry was dragged aside by Lockhart, not knowing what they were saying, and a few minutes later, Harry came over with a red face and sat down next to Ron.
"You're ready to fry eggs on your face, buddy!"
Ron said, "You'd better pray that Creevey doesn't meet Ginny, and the two of them will start a club of Harry Potter worshippers." ”
"Don't talk nonsense!" Harry said urgently, for fear of being heard as a "Harry Potter Worshippers Club".
