As early as the Southern Song Dynasty, there was a small stream called Huaxi (named because there are often falling into the stream) from Huajia Mountain to the West Lake. At that time, Lu Yunsheng, the chamberlain, built a mountain hut on the side of Huaxi, called "Lu Garden". In the park, the beams are the house, the stacked stones are the mountains, the ground is the ponds, the ports are the ports, the fish of different colors are raised, and the plants and trees are widely planted. In the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi, Emperor Xuanye drove to the West Lake, inscribed the scenery of the flower port to watch the fish, and carved a stone monument to build a monument on the side of the fish pond. Later, when Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River to visit the West Lake, there was a poem inscribed on the stele, and the poem said: "Huajia Mountain flows down to the flower port, and the fish body is full of flowers." On the eve of the founding of the People's Republic of China, due to disrepair, there was only one pond, one monument, and three acres of land here. After expansion, the whole park covers an area of nearly 300 acres. The whole park is divided into five scenic spots: Red Fish Pond, Peony Garden, Flower Port, Big Lawn, and Dense Woodland. I see the stele now "Flower Port View Fish" four words, who wrote it, I can't tell, I don't recognize the body. The "Fish Pond Monuments" at the scene said: "In the thirty-eighth year of Kangxi (1699), Emperor Kangxi wrote the four characters of "Flower Port View Fish". The square pond and the stele pavilion were rebuilt in the eighth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1869). The pavilion was rebuilt in 1959." I didn't say whether the words written by Kangxi were engraved on the tablet.

Some say it was written by Kangxi, and some say it was written by Qianlong. Even in the same introduction, it was said that Kangxi wrote and erected a monument, and later said that Qianlong wrote the words "Flower Port Watching Fish". But there is one thing that is the same, that is, there should be four dots under the traditional Chinese character "魚", and there are three dots on the stele. The emperor who wrote believed that the four dots represented "fire" and would roast the fish to death. The three dots represent the water, hoping that the wind and rain will be smooth and the people will be able to live a good life. However, according to the reasoning, I think it should be written by Kangxi, because he inscribed the monument, and of course the words were written by him. When Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, the stele was not damaged and did not need to be rebuilt, and Qianlong only had the qualifications to engrave the poem on the yin side and side. However, compared with the eight characters of "Quyuan Wind Lotus" and "Spring Dawn at Su Causeway", it seems that it is not very similar to "Flower Port Viewing Fish", and the four characters of "Flower Harbor Viewing Fish" are slightly square, and it seems to be Qianlong's handwriting. In the description of the Quyuan Wind Lotus Monument, it is mentioned that there are only two Kangxi Imperial Monuments remaining, one is "Quyuan Wind Lotus", and the other is "Flower Port Fish View" or "Su Causeway Spring Dawn", or is it in other scenic spots?
