The Nanshan area in the southwest of Anxi is the first primeval forest reserve in China to realize the closure of mountains for afforestation. In recent years, due to the development of tourism, several large forest parks have been developed in the Nanshan area, and they have attracted a large number of tourists.

And this naturally also brings a lot of potential safety hazards, especially the large number of tourists, the quality is uneven, because of the negligence of tourists and the fire has been several, fortunately was found in time, and did not cause too many consequences.

This has also caused a lot of controversy, and there is only one focus of attention and discussion, that is, whether tourism and environmental protection can be both.

The question now is whether tourism development has seriously affected the safety of the reserve, and whether it should be carried out is a matter of opinion.

The environmental protection department and the forestry department naturally hope to close tourist attractions, reduce human harm to nature, and reduce the risks and hidden dangers caused by human causes.

As a tourism department and locally, these forest parks and tourist areas have indeed stimulated the local economy, especially these villages and towns located in mountainous areas, which have quickly lifted themselves out of poverty and become rich by virtue of these tourist areas.

If these tourist areas and forest parks are closed, these villages and towns that were originally lifted out of poverty may be impoverished again, and even cause some social problems.

The reserve has also considered the use of drones for patrols, and large drones can fly at an altitude of more than 5,000 meters.

Although equipped with infrared optical sensors, the mountain stream's microclimate is diverse, often dense with fog and thin clouds. Moreover, the mountainous areas are full of tall trees and dense vegetation, making it difficult for infrared optical cameras to detect small fire spots.

By the time it is detected, the fire is already large, and it is more difficult to extinguish the fire, especially in such a dense forest area.

Therefore, in this regard, the reserve has put out a tender for external bidding, hoping to have a set of wireless monitoring systems that can be placed in the entire reserve.

According to the bidding requirements, the system must be small and safe, easy to install, have solar or wind energy charging function, and can be unattended for a long time. It has a keen insight into small fire spots, and has the ability of high-speed image transmission, which is convenient for the prevention and control command center to view the situation.
