On the fifth floor underground, it is about minus 20 meters, which can be said to be below the waterline. Even if it is adequately waterproof and moisture-proof, the effect cannot be maintained for a long time.

Although some electronic equipment in the data center is waterproof, long-term moisture can easily accelerate the oxidation and corrosion of some components, and may even cause short circuits.

There is also the fatal problem, if faced with extreme rainstorms, the wetlands near the lake will be flooded. If a campus is flooded and floodwaters pour into the underground data center from the entrance, the entire data center will be scrapped.

Therefore, the underground data center is definitely imagined by these designers, and it is not realistic. On the other hand, the underground space of the garage can be used to prevent some protective facilities, such as emergency generator sets in the event of a power failure, a pipe network control center for the entire park, a ground source heat pump system, and so on.

As for the data center, it can be placed in the same building as the supercomputing center, and the height and location can be adjusted appropriately.

Even though there are these problems, Wu Hao still favors this design plan, and these are naturally seen by the people around him.

The reason why he also entered the final evaluation link is because his design is more exciting, especially in the harmony and unity of people and links, and on the other hand, it is also because you like it more.

In fact, Yang Qiming's design is also very beautiful, in addition to the central area, these 28 small buildings can be designed at will, and each place can be arranged separately. For example, peach forest, apricot forest, maple leaf, ginkgo, bamboo forest, or some rose vine plants, etc., this is much more flexible and interesting than Kitagawa Yuichi's already finalized plan.
