It's a bit like the automatic navigation route planning in the navigation software we use, but it's not a level of difficulty.
Automatic route planning in navigation software is a choice based on an already existing road route. That is to say, there are already ready-made routes, and the navigation software is just to pick a route from which the distance is relatively short, the road condition is better, and there is no congestion.
As for this technology in the drone swarm, it is to plan N alternative routes by yourself in areas where there are no routes. It is also necessary to consider factors such as terrain, distance, and climate information to make the best choice.
