Chapter 257: Aramis (27)
Durin didn't have much of a mind to think about the connection at the moment, and after knowing that we were going to let him retrieve the evidence of his crime under the surveillance of our people, he just thought about it briefly and nodded in agreement, not to mention suspicion and even a little lucky. There was nothing to say about us taking his men to the docks, and we told one of his men.
Now that the pace of action was set, we shut up all the remaining people and took Durin and his men into the car. We drove a total of three cars, one of which was intended for Durin to use to meet each other. Before leaving, we gagged Avelyn and led him into the woods to the side, handing over a silencer-mounted USP pistol to the old wolf.
The old wolf took the pistol and looked at Evra, who realized something was wrong when he was gagged and taken out of the yard. He snorted loudly as he struggled. It took Lukovic a few hard blows before he stopped, and he was dragged into the woods.
"Really kill him?" The old wolf suddenly hesitated.
"What do you say? Come to think of it, they hit it off when they talked about dealing with you. I looked at the old wolf and said.
The old wolf nodded and raised the gun in his hand, "I can't imagine that one day I will also execute my former partner... β
Lukovic and Salim saw that the old wolf was about to shoot, and they let go of their hands and stood aside. Avra fell to his knees after losing his support, and he looked up at the old wolf with a pleading look in his eyes. The old wolf looked at Avra and said, "You shouldn't be fooled by Durin. He shouldn't have been promised. With that, he pulled the trigger and shot Evra in the chest.
"Get in the car." I took the old wolf and took his gun and threw it to Lukovich, who took it, and as we walked out of the woods, he shot Evra twice more before following out of the woods.
We got into our cars, drove away quickly, and after driving back to the city, we left Doolin alone in a car. Before he drove away, we warned him again not to play tricks and watched him drive away from us quickly.
"What about his family," the old wolf asked, looking at the departing Durin, "Evra's, and Dorin's." β
I glanced at him, shook my head, and said, "They have nothing to do with me. I don't change my temper, and I don't have a thirst for killing. With that, I opened the car door, "Get in the car and take us to that pier." After seeing the old wolf return to the driver's seat, I said again: "I don't think you're fit for this job, especially in such a messy situation." β
"It shouldn't be suitable for wading in this troubled water, right?" The old wolf said.
"Yes. You still care about their families. Is it homesick? I asked.
The old wolf looked at me and asked, "Don't you want to?" β
"Uhh I didn't answer because the question doesn't need to be answered at all. I don't want to go home for a day or two.
At 10:20 we arrived at the Panier ferry terminal, and after five minutes of waiting, the phone of the man who had come with us rang. Under Kristovich's watch, the guy connected the phone, and the other party didn't say anything after answering the phone, just said a word and hung up.
"What did he say?" I immediately asked.
"The parking lot on the southeast side of the ferry terminal, contact him when you arrive. That's it. The guy spoke.
I nodded and looked at the old wolf beside me and said, "Old Lu, don't go." Go and swap with Lukovich, and let Ah Liang get out of the car and wait on the side. Then you drive in front and lead the way, take us to the parking lot, as long as you get to the parking lot, you don't have to stop, but keep driving, and then find an exit to put Salim down, and you go around the entrance again, and if there is no situation, pick up Ah Liang. β
"Okay. I'll take you into the parking lot, and I'll keep walking. I'll go around back after putting the person down. After repeating a bit, the old wolf opened the door and got out of the car, quickly swapping places with Lukovic. I asked Doolin's men to drive and motioned for Lukovic to take the co-pilot seat while Christovic and I hid in the back seat.
We slowly followed the old wolf's car into the parking lot, and as soon as we entered the parking lot, I asked Doolin's men to find a parking space and parked the car. And the old wolf continued to drive all the way out as promised.
After parking the car, I asked this of Doolin's men to contact the other party, and the person quickly answered the phone, this time the person asked us where we parked and the model and license number of the car, and after we answered, we went to the exit of the parking lot and waited.
I motioned for Christovic to lie down in the back seat, as he was supposed to be near here at the moment, and they asked for our location, as well as the model and license plate of the car, apparently to see where our car was. The other party was very careful, which showed that they were worried that Du Lin would have bad intentions.
After Christovic and I lay down and had our guns ready, Lukovic asked Doolin's men to follow their instructions and drive out of the parking lot and follow the signs for the parking lot all the way to the exit of the parking lot.
After coming to the exit and stopping, the phone rang. After this connection, the other party asked where we were where the body was kept, and after Doolin's men told the other party to be in the trunk and back seat, the other party instructed the people in our car to get out of the car and open the rear door and trunk.
"Lukovic, take him out of the car. Do as the other person says. When they get closer, we'll do it. Try to catch it alive. I spoke.
Lukovic nodded and looked outside and said, "I'm standing next to the car, Salim is already outside the exit." β
"Good. Watch your signal for a moment to get started. I motioned for them to get out of the car.
Lukovich greeted Durin's men, and the two quickly opened the main and passenger doors and stepped out of the car. And quickly opened the rear car door and trunk. Lukovic stepped back to the back door and stopped after a few moments, "Someone's coming." Three people, one o'clock direction. β
I glanced in the direction Lukovic was looking, and by the direction he was facing and the way he looked, I quickly figured out where the other man was. From this direction, the other party should have arrived at the parking lot in advance, and then quietly watched us drive past their eyes.
After a while, I heard footsteps coming from outside, and then a man's voice came, "Stay away from the car." β
This was clearly said to Lukovich, because DΓΌrin's man was standing at the front of the car, ready to turn and run.
I looked at Lukovich, who glanced at him and turned towards the front of the car, reaching for his gun as he went.
Thanks for the sliced bacon!!!
