The Gardelier Defense Company, formerly known as the Bucharest Arsenal, was split up after the end of World War I. Among them, the artillery was assigned to the new weapons plant in Lviv, which was subordinate to the RK company, and what remained was the production and development of firearms.

It is necessary to say more here that at present, the Romanian weapons group has the following companies responsible for research and development. The Gardelier Defense Company is responsible for the development of firearms, the RK company is responsible for the development of artillery, and the Romanian State Plant No. 2 is responsible for the development and production of tanks (mainly the Ploiesti Mechanical Works I and the Lviv Mechanical Engineering Plant II).

Koanda Aircraft Manufacturing is responsible for the development and production of fighter jets, while Fockeshani Aircraft Manufacturing is responsible for the development and production of reconnaissance aircraft and bombers. As for the development of passenger and transport aircraft, the Constanta aircraft manufacturing company is responsible.

The Navy's ships are built at the Varna Naval Shipyard, with only a few small warships built at the Constanta Naval Shipyard. The main reason is that Varna is more suitable as a military port than Constanta, and the busy Constanta is not conducive to the construction of warships, as for Odessa, the best port on the Black Sea, it was not chosen by the Navy because it was too close to the Soviet Union.

As for other equipment such as gas masks, poison gas, radars, etc., they are all produced by other companies. Many of them are purchased from civilian companies, all to reduce costs. In fact, the quality of the products of private companies is also good, as long as the testing is done, some private enterprises of munitions can also do very well.

Of course, the Gardlier Defense Company, which Eder is currently going to, is not among them, which is a standard state-owned enterprise.

Based on the current 5 million rounds of rifle ammunition carried by a Romanian division, switching to semi-automatic rifles requires at least 3-5 times more reserves. So does this aggravate the difficulty of logistics, and do you need to prepare more vehicles for transportation? And that's just one aspect, it's also about whether the tactics of the army need to change, and whether officers and enlisted men need to adapt.

The shooting went very fast, and it was only after the test firing personnel reported that Eder got the test firing information from them.

In terms of accuracy, it is not comparable to the G98 of the currently equipped army, but they are impressed when it comes to continuous firepower. In terms of comfort, because it adopts the same tail design as the G98, there is no difference in this regard. However, some people reported that the muzzle jump was more severe when firing continuously, and it made the shoulder against the butt uncomfortable. But overall it's still a good gun.

As for the military's evaluation, the scientific researchers present immediately wrote it down. They then need to make changes to what they are not satisfied with.
