The reason why Chang'an City is called Chang'an, is taken literally, which means "long-term peace and stability", from the beginning of Qin Shi Huang's unification of the world, until the Han Dynasty and the Han Dynasty, Chang'an is the whole world, and even including the Western Regions, including Nanyang, including Fanbang, the most famous capital city without dispute, is a great city that can be admired by many foreigners to worship and worship. 【n Look】

In those years, there is no doubt that Chang'an has always served as the center of the world, attracting a large number of foreign envoys and worshippers.

"Chang'an City" was called "Feng Ho" in the Western Zhou Dynasty. "Feng Hao" is the joint name of Feng Jing and Hao Jing, which were built by King Zhou and King Wu of Zhou respectively. The area where "Feng Ho" is located is called "Zongzhou". Qin called "internal history", to the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, Liu Bangding Duguan, the Western Han Dynasty Gaozu 5 years (202 years ago), placed Chang'an County, built a new city in the territory of Chang'an County, named "Chang'an City", which means "long-term peace and stability", and changed the area where Chang'an City is located to "Jingzhao", which means "the land of Gyeonggi".

Since the opening of the Silk Road, "Chang'an" has become the heart of Dongfang Ming. The history is called "Rome in the west, Chang'an in the east", in the Sui period, the Sui Emperor built a new capital in "Daxing County" (east of Chang'an County), named "Daxing City". During the Tang Dynasty, Chang'an County and Daxing Chang'an Big Wild Goose Pagoda were re-divided by the axis, Tang Yonghui built the county in three years, and renamed "Daxing County" as Wannian County, which means "Wannian Chang'an" and restored the name of "Chang'an". In the Yuan Dynasty, "Chang'an" lost its status as the capital, and the "Jingzhao Mansion" where "Chang'an City" was located was renamed "Fengyuan Road". The Ming Dynasty changed "Fengyuan Road" to "Xi'an Mansion", and the name "Xi'an" came from this. However, "Chang'an City" is still called "Chang'an", under the jurisdiction of Chang'an County, the name of "Chang'an" has not been abolished, and has been preserved until the "Chang'an City" is stripped of "Chang'an County" and established "Xi'an City" independently in modern times, and the name of "Chang'an" is abolished.

"Xi'an": Zong Zhou (Zhou) - Neishi (Qin) - Jingzhao (Han) - Jingzhao (Xin) - Jingzhao (Northern and Southern Dynasties) - Jingzhao (Sui) - Jingzhao (Tang) - Da'an (Later Liang) - Jingzhao (Later Tang) - Jingzhao (Song) - Fengyuan (Yuan) - Xi'an (Ming) - Xi'an (Republic of China) - Xi'an (People's Republic of China)

Pre-Qin

The Chang'an region has long been the capital of the Zhou Dynasty, and the earliest record is the capital of the Western Zhou Dynasty, Yujing and Haojing (1111-770 BC).

Hokyo is also known as the Ho Ho, and Ho and Ho were originally two large-scale cities built along the Ho River. Fengshui west is called Xujing, Fengshui east is called Haojing, history is called "Xuhao Erjing", respectively by the king of Zhou and King Wu of Zhou. However, it is customary to think of these two cities as one, as each has a different role. In the late Western Zhou Dynasty, Yujing assumed more of a religious role in sacrifice, while Hojing existed as an administrative center.

Han dynasty

Western han dynasty

At the end of Qin and the beginning of the Han Dynasty, Chang'an was a township in Xianyang, the capital of Qin, and was the fief of Chang'anjun, the brother of Qin Shi Huang, so it was called "Chang'an".

At the beginning of the Han Dynasty, Gaozu Liu Bang issued an edict, and Xiangguo Xiao He presided over the construction of the capital Chang'an, which opened the grand foundation of the Han Empire.

In 202 BC, Liu Bang defeated Xiang Yu, Gaozu originally wanted to build the capital Luoyang, and Lou Jing suggested that the capital be passed, but most of the ministers came from the east and opposed it, thinking that Luoyang was better. So Liu Bang consulted Zhang Liang, and Zhang Liang said: "Although the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, where Luoyang built its capital, was better than the Qin and Jin dynasties, the city was only a few hundred miles, the fields were too thin, and the land was flat on all sides, so it was easy to be attacked. On the other hand, there are thousands of miles of fertile fields in Hangu Pass and Longshu, the wealth of Bashu in the south, and the convenience of Hu people's animal husbandry in the north, which can be defended on three sides, and contain the princes to the east. It is the so-called golden city of thousands of miles, the country of abundance. Lou Jing was right. So Liu Bang decided to set the capital of Chang'an, and worshiped Lou Jing as a lang and gave Liu the surname.

In the fifth year of Emperor Gao of the Han Dynasty (202 BC), Chang'an County was placed, and in the seventh year of Emperor Gao, the capital was set here. Liu Bang began to rebuild the palace on the south bank of the Wei River, the north side of Afang Palace, and the Qin Xingle Palace, and named it Changle Palace. In the seventh year of Gaozu (200 years ago), Weiyang Palace was built, and in the same year, the capital was moved here from Liyang City, and it was named Chang'an City because it was located in Chang'an Township. Emperor Hui of the Han Dynasty built the city wall from the first year (194 BC) to the fifth year (190 BC). Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty set up Jing Zhaoyin to govern Chang'an, carried out a large-scale expansion of Chang'an City, built the North Palace, Gui Palace and Mingguang Palace, and cooled the Shanglin Garden in the west of the city, dug the Kunming Pond, built the Zhang Palace, etc.

In the more than 200-year history of the Western Han Dynasty, Chang'an has always been the political, economic and chemical heart of the country. Since Emperor Wu sent Zhang Qian to the Western Regions to open a trade route, Chang'an City has become a bridge connecting Europe and Asia and the starting point of the "Silk Road", and it has prospered for a while. In its heyday, such as the second year of Emperor Ping of the Han Dynasty (2 years), the city had 88,000 households and 246,000 people, making it the first city with a large scale and many residents in the history of the country. At the end of the Western Han Dynasty, during the reign of Wang Mang, Chang'an City was destroyed in the war. To the Eastern Han Dynasty Guangwu Emperor Liu Xiuding capital Luoyang, Chang'an changed to Xijing. At the end of the Han Dynasty, Emperor Xian of the Han Dynasty moved the capital back to Chang'an.

Located in the northwest suburbs of present-day Xi'an, the city of Chang'an covers an area of about 36 square kilometers, about four times the size of Rome at the same time. Chang'an City has 12 gates and 8 main streets, with the longest street being 5,500 meters long. The palaces, noble residences, government offices, and temples in the city occupy about two-thirds of the city's area. The palaces are gathered in the part and south of the city, and there are Changle Palace, Weiyang Palace, Gui Palace, North Palace and Mingguang Palace. Its Weiyang Palace is the place where many emperors lived and dealt with the government from Emperor Hui of the Han Dynasty, and is one of the most famous palaces in the history of the country. The residential areas are located in the northern part of the city and are divided into 160 "Luli". The market is in the northwest corner of the city and is called the "Nine Cities of Chang'an". In the west of the city, there is a large area of Shanglin Garden, and there are mainly Kunming Pond, Jianzhang Palace and so on in the garden. In the south of the city, there is a group of ceremonial buildings built during the Wang Mang period. The city of Chang'an in the Han Dynasty changed the pattern of large and small cities in the Warring States Period, and gathered residential areas, industrial and commercial areas and palace areas in one city, and the capital cities of later generations followed this system.

The famous Silk Road started from Chang'an. It is home to the best cities, the most magnificent palaces, the most people, the most prosperous businesses, and the most advanced municipal measures. No matter how you look at it, Chang'an is the best city in the world at this time.

Later, for various reasons, the imperial court liked to rule in Henan, but after the Yongjia Rebellion, Sima Ye, the king of Qin, went out of Benguan, and later became the crown prince, called the emperor and set the capital in Chang'an, until the surrender of the former Zhao Han army in 316. After the fall of the Western Jin Dynasty, the Guan'an area often became a place of frequent wars, and the former Zhao, Great Qin and other regimes also set their capitals in Chang'an. Although the Great Qin Empire became the most powerful country in the world after Fu Jiandu, no matter how hard he tried to build Chang'an, the destruction and trauma of the long-term war were not very recoverable.

But recently, after Fu Hong became the supreme ruler of the empire, he has succeeded in restoring peace to Guan, and now the biggest threat, Yao Chang, of the Qiang, has led his troops away from Hehuang, but has been wiped out in the conflict with the locals. And the rebels in various parts of the Kanto region are now in a process of recuperation and will not invade the pass for the time being. So now Fu Hong's rule has been basically stabilized.

The common people are very realistic, they don't like war, because war means raising taxes and conscription, which means that their relatives may die. If there was the slightest possibility, they would all prefer peace. After all, it's better to die than to live.

Now that the King of Heaven has driven away all the people who should be driven away, of course the people of Chang'an support the King of Heaven, and they just want to live a good life.

At this time, at the west gate of Chang'an City, a long convoy slowly came in, the specifications of the carriages of the convoy were exactly the same, and the war horses were all black horses, which looked incomparably superb. And the men who drove the car were all powerful, and they were rare heroes at first glance.

The people in the northwest are fierce, and many people are practicing families, but the people in this team give everyone a faint pressure, letting them know that these people are rare warriors and cannot be easily provoked.

The guards of the city, on the other hand, consciously separated a passage and guarded them on both sides, and it was obvious that there was a big man in the convoy.

Everyone is wondering who is going back to the city, if it is the prince, it seems that the specifications are still a little worse, then the street has to be cleaned. But if it is an ordinary official, this standard is a little higher.

Needless to say, this convoy is, of course, Duan Ye and others who came to Chang'an for the Hajj.

In fact, the interior of this carriage is also very luxurious, although because it is to come to Chang'an to meet the nominal monarch, it is impossible to exceed the system, and it is too exaggerated, so this carriage looks like it is only okay from the outside. But there's something else going on inside.

In Duan Ye's car, there is a bed where you can rest. There is a closet where you can put food. There are murals, bookshelves, and of course, toilets.

Duan Ye only hated that he couldn't make electrification and automation now, and many things still relied on people, but even so, after the carriage was made by the military factory at that time, it still surprised his subordinates.

After all, such a thing is still very expensive, and of course, in order to avoid gossip, Duan Ye decided to pay for it himself, and did not use Liangzhou's finances. ~
