It was not until this dynasty that there was a grand occasion when great Confucians came out and the absolute learning was continued. However, the path of Guan Luo's learning to follow the peerless learning is wrong. They can't follow the right path, so they have to learn from the Dharma...... What is preached is no longer the way of Confucius and Mencius, but the way of Shakyamuni. ”

Under the understanding of Wu Haogu, the meaning of continuing to learn for the saints is to continue to develop Confucianism, and the reason why the Lian, Luo, Guan, and Fujian masters of the Song Dynasty can be called great Confucianism is to develop the ideas of Confucianism and promote the expansion of Confucianism to a new stage.

In other words, they answered the avenue that Confucius asked for and heard but did not get. turned "the way of seeking nature" into "preserving heavenly principles and destroying human desires...... To put it bluntly, the great Confucians of the Song Dynasty made Confucianism more like a religion.

If the "Heavenly Principle" is changed to an anthropomorphic god like "Christ, Allah, Buddha, and Taishang Laojun", then it will be almost the same.

So they were undoubtedly great Confucians, but they went the wrong way, and they did not find a way to answer the Tao of Confucius.

And Wu Haogu used the positivism of later generations to correspond to the Confucian way of seeking the Tao and the way of nature proposed by Lao Tzu, forming another line of "following the absolute learning" that is different from Guan Luo's science - this is certainly the correct route! Whoever dares to say that it is not true, send the wise men to convince people with reason!

In addition, Jing Gong Xinxue, which is now a prominent school, has taken the route of "taking Confucianism as its sect, integrating all schools, and aiding the law into Confucianism", trying to find a way out of the political system, advocating "applying the scriptures to the world", and not paying much attention to the problem of "not being useful" such as "following the absolute learning".

However, unlike Guan Luo Lixue and Jing Gong Xinxue, Positivist Confucianism, which takes positivism and the way of nature as its soul, has its own theoretical advantages over theology and metaphysics since its birth, so it will have a strong desire to spread.

Moreover, positivism itself also has the attributes of sociology, so it will inevitably have a serious conflict with the Jinggong New Theory, which is "through the scriptures and application", because positivist sociology will also criticize the New Deal pioneered by Wang Anshi!

After all, although the starting point of Xining's new policy is good, there are not many policies that can withstand practical experience. Even the original intention of changing the law to enrich the country and strengthen the army can be proved wrong by empirical evidence, if the country is rich and the army can be strong, then the Great Song Dynasty is much richer than the Western Xia, the Great Liao and the Jurchen barbarians......

Therefore, the positivist Confucianism that Wu Haogu is now launching is theoretically very easy to gain an advantage over Guan Luo Lixue and Jing Gong Xinxue.

And positivist Confucianism, which has gained an advantage in theory, can package itself as the truth!
