Volume 2 Heroes in Troubled Times Chapter 11 The Long River and the Sunset Section 48

Chapter 11: The Sunset of the Long River, Section 48

Prime Minister Li Wei was stabbed, which shook Chang'an.

The eldest princess ordered that 500 guards of the Southern Army be transferred to protect Li Wei's mansion and family, and asked He Lin, the captain of the city gate, to personally take charge of Li Wei's safety.

This assassination made Li Wei the object of the court's full protection, and at the same time, the government and the opposition knew the court's determination to reform the system. Even if Li Wei is killed now, the eldest princess will continue to reform the system, and she will never give up halfway.

On the thirteenth day of the first lunar month, under the persuasion and coercion of the eldest princess, the ministers agreed to revise the national policy.

Prime Minister Li Wei immediately put forward three principles for restructuring, honoring the law, emphasizing the basics and suppressing the last, harmony and stability, and the revision of the national policy should be carried out on these three principles.

The ministers had no objection and agreed unanimously.

Taifu Yang Biao, Taifu Qing Cui Yan, Shaofu Secretary Xu Jing and others also drew up a restructuring plan according to Li Wei's restructuring strategy, but this plan was fiercely criticized by Prime Minister Li Wei and other ministers because the revision was too small.

On the fourteenth day of the first lunar month, the eldest princess issued an order to order Prime Minister Li Wei to immediately reformulate the restructuring plan, so that the next day she could discuss the restructuring strategy with hundreds of wealthy men and bureaucrats.

That night, Li Wei came up with a second restructuring strategy.

At this moment, there are only four hours left before the next day's court meeting, and Taifu Yang Biao and the others have no time to discuss it anymore, so they can only reluctantly accept it.

On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month, the Qilin Hall is a direct competition between the interests of the "country" and the "people". For the sake of the interests of the court, the ministers must be consistent with the Son of Heaven and the eldest princess, which is the minimum principle.

On the fifteenth day of the first month, Weiyang Palace, Qilin Palace.

The eldest princess personally presided over the proceedings.

Twenty ministers attended the meeting, including Prime Minister Li Wei, Grand Sima Xu Rong, Taifu Yang Biao, Taiwei Zhang Yan, and Imperial Historian Xun You.

Zheng Xuan, Wang Jian, Xu Shao, Hu Zhao, Chun Yujia, Liu He, Yang Qi, Sima Fang, Zhao Wen, Zhang Xi and other 20 Hongru, Confucian, Laochen, and celebrities attended the meeting.

Xu Ling, Lizhong, Wei Gu, Cui Lin, Wang Chen, Han Ming, Xun Zheng and other 20 "officials and businessmen" integrated with the gate valve, big businessmen, and heads of the great family attended the meeting.

More than 50 other people, including the emperor's relatives, officials of prefectures, counties, and counties, high-ranking families and wealthy people from all over the country, ordinary merchants, and scholars who enjoyed military merits, attended the meeting.

More than 100 people focused on the Qilin Hall to discuss the grand plan of Zhongxing.

The great Sima Xu Rong explained in detail the current situation in the world and the various difficulties encountered by the imperial court, expressed the urgency and necessity of the reform, expounded the three principles of the imperial court's reform, and hoped that through this debate, a set of national policies that can quickly promote the development of the great cause of Zhongxing will be formulated.

Then Prime Minister Li Wei carefully explained the reform policy of the imperial court, including academic, political, civil, military and so on, and spoke freely for an afternoon. But in the final analysis, the focus is on the salt and iron official camp and the restriction of land and rent.

As soon as Li Wei finished speaking, the Jinyang University Hall Sacrificial Wine King Scissors immediately stood up and refuted the imperial court's salt and iron official camp strategy. Its central argument is to compete with the people for profit, believing that the salt and iron official camp violates the creed of the ancient sages of "virtue and cheapness, emphasis on righteousness and light on wealth", corrupts the simple social atmosphere, and lures the people to the road of betraying righteousness and seeking profit.

Li Wei was-for-tat, and salt and iron were released, resulting in an empty treasury and insufficient military funds. The army is neither able to defend the borders nor able to quell the rebellion, when will the world be stable? Only by implementing the official management of salt and iron, the monopoly of liquor and wine, and the equalization of losses and losses, can we increase the revenue of the state treasury and quickly pacify the world. The benefits of salt and iron are the lifeblood of the country's financial endowment, and they must not be completely let go.

The argument began, and the two sides exchanged words and-for-tat.

"Righteousness" or "profit", who is more important?

The Confucianists believed that the salt and iron official camp was competing with the people for profit, resulting in a series of drawbacks such as "loss" and "prosperity", arrogance and greed, and poverty among the people.

The imperial court believes that now that the treasury is empty, the world is divided, and the society and the people are struggling on the line of life and death, what is the point of talking about this kind of "righteousness" without "profit"? Can "righteousness" pacify rebellion and stabilize the frontier? Can the people be fed and clothed?

What should be the relationship between social income and financial endowment?

The Confucianists believe that the wealth of the country is not as good as the wealth of the people. The imperial court should adopt a laissez-faire policy to maximize the benefits of the good operation of salt and iron, so that all strata of society can benefit from it.

The imperial court emphasized the supremacy of the interests of the community and believed that the court should occupy the greatest wealth of the community. If the people are richer than the country, the people are strong and the country is weak, which is not conducive to the stability of the society, while the country is rich and the country is strong, it can be majestic all over the world, and the world will not surrender. The salt and iron official camp can allow the imperial court to control the lifeblood of the society and ensure the stability of the society.

How to position the "root" and "end"?

Farming is the foundation, industry and commerce are the end, and the imperial court implements the salt and iron official camp, which is essentially the worship of the end and the suppression of the capital, which hinders the development of agriculture.

The imperial court believed that the relationship between the end and the end was originally interdependent, and the "health and end-of-life tools" needed by the people were all "to be passed through and completed by business", and "if there is no final profit, then there is no business in the industry", and only agricultural and commercial transactions can "benefit the end". The salt and iron government camp did not hinder the national policy of attaching equal importance to agriculture and commerce.

Is the serious imbalance between production and consumption the main cause of poverty among the people?

Comparing ancient and modern life, the great Confucian believes that the ancients were simple and thrifty, with enough food and clothing, while the extravagant consumption (especially funeral) of this dynasty was very serious, and the consumption of life far exceeded the consumption of production. As a result, the state treasury was empty, and the people were impoverished, which seriously affected and hindered the development of Zhongxing's great cause.

The imperial court believed that although frugality could accumulate wealth, it would also lose the impetus for development. If wealth cannot be converted into consumption, who has the motivation to create wealth? Consumption has a role in promoting production, and as for how much the people consume, it should be determined according to their own wealth and poverty, and the poverty of the people cannot simply be attributed to excessive consumption.

Does the government run a business, is it abandoning the basics?

Since the Warring States Period, Legalists have had the theory of emphasizing the basics and suppressing the last, believing that industry and commerce are not "the basic affairs of governing the country", and advocating "advancing the basics and retreating from the end, and benefiting agriculture". The government's operation of industry and commerce is actually "competing with businessmen for market profits".

The imperial court held that the theory of "emphasizing the original and suppressing the last" put forward by the great Confucian was to suppress the government-run industry and commerce and compete for the interests of private industry and commerce, which was a distorted interpretation of the theory of "emphasizing the original and suppressing the last".

The imperial court insisted that the government should control industry and commerce and develop government-run industry and commerce. In this way, it can not only increase the income of wealth, but also weaken the strength of the wealthy businessmen and magnates, and restrain them from annexing land and plundering the wealth of the people.

Is the poverty of the farmer related to salt and iron? Will the rise in grain prices lead to the double exploitation of the peasants by the imperial court?

The gate lord Daru believes that the poverty of the peasants is caused by the suppression of grain prices by the imperial court, and has nothing to do with salt and iron. At present, the prices of salt, iron, and farming animals are already very low. Especially in the situation of frequent wars and a great demand for salt, iron and livestock, the fact that salt, iron, and farming animals in various places can maintain the current price has fully taken into account the damage caused to farmers by the low price of grain. Without a farmer cultivating the land, there is no grain to eat, and without grain to eat, who needs salt and iron? Who doesn't understand this truth? The imperial court carried out the reform under the pretext that the price of grain was too low, in order to rob the salt and iron merchants of wealth, not to improve the poverty of the peasants.

The Confucians also believed that the imperial court controlled the price of grain, set the price of grain very low, and brutally exploited the farmers, making the farmers pay a huge price. Now the imperial court still thinks that the wealth is not enough, and wants to raise the price of grain, to salt and iron official camps, and to carry out a second and more cruel exploitation of the peasants.

The peasants had limited land, limited output, and heavy taxes and forced labor, and even if the price of grain doubled, their income would not increase much. The main consumption of the peasants is food and clothing, which is the most basic living consumption. When the price of grain rises, so will the clothes of salt, iron, and livestock, and the price of these things will rise much more than the price of grain, and the farmers will be poorer. Farmers who cannot support themselves from the fields have to find another way to make a living, and they have to abandon the fields, and the grain production will fall, the price of grain will rise even higher, and everything else will follow suit, and the consequences of this vicious circle will be unimaginable.

In addition to the most serious drawbacks of the salt and iron official camp, the other is the increase in the price of salt and iron, which has a historical lesson. According to the meaning of the imperial court, salt and iron were first in the official camp, and the price of grain rose later. In other words, the price of salt and iron should rise first, so that the increase in grain price will definitely be smaller than the increase in the price of salt and iron. In this way, the peasants were deprived of their wealth more quickly, and they were about to be exploited by the imperial court.

The double exploitation of the imperial court would drive the peasants to a dead end.

The imperial court believed that this statement of the great Confucian lords was threatening the imperial court, and they wanted to hold the imperial court hostage with the salt, iron and grain they had hoarded. Since the imperial court has officially run salt and iron, can't it still control the price? Taking a step back, the imperial court does not raise the price of grain, but only reduces the price of salt and iron, okay? Taking a step back, the imperial court subsidizes the farmers with the wealth obtained by the salt and iron official camps, is it okay?

The discussion at the Qilin Hall lasted for a long time, from the fifteenth day of the first lunar month to the beginning of February, and nothing came of it, but the signs of compromise between the two sides were gradually emerging.

The mining rights of salt and iron are basically controlled by the imperial court, the gate lords, and the big merchants, and many ordinary merchants and wealthy people do not even have the right to operate, so these people are concerned about the amount of land restrictions, commercial taxes, and the entry of millet Baijue.

Li Wei has been in frequent contact with them recently, and has made many promises, such as selling the right to operate salt and iron, expanding the amount of land restricted, appropriately raising the commercial tax, and lowering the "threshold" for entering the Byjue as appropriate, so as to protect and satisfy their interests to the greatest extent.

The group of these people is very large, especially the city-registered merchants, and their status and treatment today are simply worlds different from those in the past. What they are most afraid of is the repetition of policies, thinking that Emperor Xiaowu's edict made tens of thousands of businessmen die and their wives separated, and Dong Zhuo's butcher's knife is still vivid. They are different from the big merchants, who have no city registration, great power, and strong ability to deal with mutations, but they can't, as long as the court wants to deal with them, it will be swept away, so they support the court unconditionally. As for the ordinary rich people who only have advantages and no disadvantages in this reform, of course they will not risk losing their heads to follow the big gate valve and the big businessmen to wave their flags and shout, so they also support the imperial court.

With the support of these people, the imperial court is full of confidence, and can let go of its hands and feet to deal with the big gate valves and big businessmen. It really can't be done, and finding an excuse to conduct a bloodbath can just hit dissidents, confiscate family property, enrich the treasury, appease the farmers, and by the way, cultivate a group of new big businessmen to help them implement the new system.

Seeing the crisis, the big businessmen no longer insisted and tried to make concessions. But they were supported by a huge military class, and their concessions were only symbolic, with too few concessions and too harsh conditions to meet the demands of the imperial court.

They asked for help from the generals who were far away in Xiliang, and from the generals in the army who were related to them by marriage.

As early as the end of last year, the general received a letter from Li Wei, and at the beginning of the year, he received letters from the eldest princess, Xu Rong, Zhang Yan and others, expressing their understanding and support for the imperial court's request for restructuring.

At Li Wei's request, the general wrote to the generals of the unified army and the assassins of various states, explained in detail the reform of the imperial court, and asked them to support the imperial court unconditionally.

As for the matter of restricting land and imposing rents, the general also gave a special explanation. The civil and military officials at the marquis level all have fiefdoms, and they are not included in the list of land restrictions and rents, which does not affect private interests. The Qingjue level, including the ninth level of the eldest concubine to the ninth level of the left concubine, of which the highest-ranking eldest has received the most fields before reaching 100 hectares after the previous awards. The amount of land restricted by the imperial court this time is 150 hectares, that is to say, all people of the military meritorious class are not included in the land restriction and rent. At present, the plan that the imperial court has come up with is the first case, not the final "Law of Limiting Fields", so you don't need to worry, although the above table supports it.

In early February, the generals in Beijing, the generals of the unified army in various places, the assassins of various states, some Taishou, and the ministers of the state wrote letters one after another to support the reform of the imperial court. This made the big gate lord and the big businessman realize that behind the reform of the imperial court was the general, and the purpose of the general was obviously not to raise military funds to fight, but for the future of the Han Dynasty and for the little emperor to govern. If everyone continues to confront the imperial court and insists on not giving in, the consequences are unpredictable.

On the fifteenth of February, in the midst of everyone's anticipation, the general's letter arrived.

The general's letter exhorted everyone to put the society first, the Han dynasty, and the Son of Heaven. If the Han Dynasty can't prosper, if it goes to the abyss of overturning again, who can keep their homeland, keep their fields, and keep their wealth? Under today's situation, only by working together can we ensure the revitalization of the Han Dynasty.

He wrote another letter to Xu Ling, Lizhong, and Wei Gu. Northern Xinjiang can rise, and the Han can come to this day, and you have made great contributions. But over the past ten years, I believe you know better than me how much money you have earned and how much profit you have gained from it. We put aside the relationship between friends and colleagues, and from the perspective of interests, for more than ten years, because of our common efforts, the court has benefited, the people have benefited, you have benefited, everyone has benefited, and everyone has gotten along very well. What now? Now you are still benefiting, and even snatching the benefits of the court and the people into your own pockets, the court and the people are no longer profitable, and everyone is no longer getting along, if this unharmonious relationship continues, what will be the result? The people could not live, and the court had no money to help them, so they had to fight with their lives, and the result was that the jade was burned.

Go back and look at the Yellow Turban Uprising 21 years ago, the rebellion in Western Xinjiang, and look back at the Dong Zhuo Rebellion 16 years ago.

The Yellow Turban Incident destroyed most of Jizhou, Yingchuan and Nanyang, and Qingyan Prefecture. The chaos in Western Xinjiang has destroyed the entire Liangzhou, may I ask, how many rich people are there in Liangzhou now? Dong Zhuo's rebellion destroyed Luoyang and Guanzhong, although Guanluo's clan and businessmen fled in all directions, barely saving their lives, but how many prominent families are left? Is the Yang family in Kansai richer than you? Does the Ma family in Guanzhong still have the luxury of the past?

Think about it, how did you get your wealth? Since the imperial court can give you the opportunity to accumulate wealth, protect and help you earn wealth, then it can also make you have nothing overnight. If the people can endure your exploitation, and endure your bullying and oppression, they can also cut off your heads in a fit of rage.

Since ancient times, there have been many big families and big businessmen who are rich and rivaling the country, but now you look around and see if you can still find their descendants? Although the saying that you are rich for three generations is too exaggerated, if a person forgets his duty to be a man because of power and money, then he will not be far from the day of defeat.

If you figure it out and are willing to continue to maintain the harmonious relationship with the court and the people in the past, you can still benefit, but the accumulation of wealth is slower and the money is harder. The court and the people have benefited, life is better, and I believe that the wealth you have earned will not be less than in the past, but the wealth is not growing fast enough relative to your total wealth.

In short, it is too short-sighted to fish with all your might, and it is even more undesirable to intensify the contradictions, so you should take a long-term view, and don't always keep your eyes on money and lose your mind. There are many ways to make money, but the premise is to make money in harmony, you have discarded the court that you rely on to protect you, and the people you rely on to survive, do you still have a way to live?

Xu Ling, Lu Zhong, and Wei Gu saw the blood in this letter. The general is still the leopard in the past, he has provoked him, and he wants to eat people.

On 16 February, Xu Ling, Lizhong, and Wei Gu were willing to hand over the right to mine salt and iron, but demanded that the right to operate salt and iron be retained, and at the same time suggested that the imperial court raise the amount of land to 500 hectares, and levy twice the land rent for the part of the land that exceeded the limit.

Li Wei was very happy and immediately made concessions. Half of the right to operate salt and iron can be ceded, but the amount of land can only be increased to 100 hectares.

With the gate valve and the big businessman handing over the salt and iron mining rights and part of the management rights, the deliberations of the Qilin Hall immediately entered the **. For the sake of interests, the forces of all parties bargained with the imperial court, and the arguments were set off again.

At the beginning of March, Li Wei came up with his third plan, in which Li Wei removed the proposal to raise the price of grain.

If the price of grain is blindly raised, and the court cannot absolutely control the price of salt and iron, then it is very likely to lead to the simultaneous rise of all kinds of prices, and then cause the second exploitation and harm to the farmers.

The poor farmer will be exploited twice, and his situation will be even more miserable, which completely deviates from the original intention of the imperial court reform.

The third plan still could not satisfy the gate valve and the big businessman, and the two sides disputed, and a protracted stalemate began. The policy of restructuring requires the concerted efforts of the government and the opposition in order to be well promoted and implemented. Especially in the early days of ZTE, it is even more necessary to unite all forces and not be careless. Such a stalemate is very unfavorable to the imperial court, and the longer it lasts, the more unfavorable it is, and Li Wei is worried about it.

Those great Confucians and celebrities were not in a hurry, they went to Taixue, debated scriptures with doctors and students, discussed current affairs, talked about words and fu, and studied piano, chess, calligraphy and painting in their spare time, very leisurely.

In the middle of March, the hussar general Xianyu played the imperial court, the war in Liaodong resumed, and the direction of Shanggu County was also full of war clouds. When Fuluo Han heard that the Han army had achieved a great victory in the western frontier, he was worried that the Han army would conquer the desert, so he formed an alliance with the Karasuma people Nengchen Di and Xiuwulu, and planned to attack Daijun and Shanggu County in order to force the Han Emperor to recognize his status as the king of Daxianbei.

If Fu Luo Han was mad and sent troops to attack the border counties, there would be a big war in northern Xinjiang, and the imperial court would need to requisition more troops, grain, grass and ordnance, and the raising of money and grain would likely become a weapon for the gate lords and big merchants to blackmail the imperial court. To this end, the imperial court must complete the consultation and formulation of the reform policy as soon as possible, and issue an edict to promulgate and implement it.

The big Sima Xu Rong and the Taiwei Zhang Yan were anxious and urged Li Wei again and again. Li Wei was so anxious that he fell ill.

On March 24, Zhu Mu and Ding Li went to the mansion to visit Li Wei, and talked about Taixue in the chat.

During this time, almost all of the contemporary Confucian, Tongru, Great Confucian, and many celebrities were in Chang'an, which is a very rare thing. Therefore, the Confucian scholars in Sanfu, Hedong, Guanxi, Luoyang and other places have come to visit, one wants to see the demeanor of the great Confucian scholars, the second wants to listen to the great Confucian scholars teach the scriptures, and the third is if there is an opportunity, get a comment from them, and immediately "soar to heaven", the worst can also enter the official career, and the lucky one can also enter the palace of the minister.

Taixue was overcrowded, and every lecture and debate was crowded, especially when debating scriptures, many Confucian scholars took great pains to raise some sharp and novel questions in order to attract the attention of the great Confucians.

"Yesterday, a Confucian scholar who traveled thousands of miles from Yingchuan suddenly accused Master Zheng Xuan of not adhering to the theory of one teacher and respecting the family when commenting on the scriptures, violating the teacher's law and family law, which caused an uproar." Zhu Mu said, "Master Zheng Xuan first learned "Jingshi Yi" and "Ram Spring and Autumn" from the Fifth Yuan Xian Master, which belongs to the modern Wenjing school. Later, he worshipped Master Zhang Gongzu to learn "Zhou Guan", "Zuo's Spring and Autumn", and "Ancient Wenshangshu", and was employed for many years under Master Ma Rong, belonging to the ancient Wenjing school. When he commented on the scriptures, he did not use the interpretation of ancient scriptures, but also adopted the interpretations of many modern scholars, that is, he mainly used ancient texts, adopted modern texts, and chose the good and followed. It can be seen that he does not adhere to the theory of one teacher, respect the words of the family, and does not abide by the teacher's law and the family law......"

"I know, I have a way......" Li Wei suddenly jumped up and shouted at Zhu Mu and Ding Li, "Quick, go and invite Xi Wei and Zhao Song, ...... quickly"

There are very few books in this dynasty, scholars are rare, and the reading of exegesis depends on oral teaching, so the general doctor's lecture attaches importance to the relationship between teaching, thus forming the teacher method and the family law.

During the time of Emperor Xiaowu, there were doctors of the Five Classics ("Yi Shi", "Li", "Spring and Autumn") in official learning. After the gradual increase of doctors, the "Book of Changes" is divided into four, the "Book of Books" is divided into three, the "Book of Songs" is divided into three, the "Rites" is divided into two, and the "Ram Spring and Autumn" is divided into two, a total of fourteen, so it is called the Five Classics and Fourteen Doctors.

If the master of a certain scripture can be like Dong Zhongshu, turn the five elements of yin and yang into this scripture, and get the respect and trust of the imperial court as a doctor, the master's scriptures will become authoritative, and strictly abide by the scriptures and the teacher's words will not be out of shape, it will be called a teacher. The disciples preach the scriptures according to the teacher's method, and don't speak for chapters and sentences (chapter by chapter, sentence by sentence, word by word), and then they become a family law. Different students of the same scripture teacher have their own families, so that the family law is taught under the teacher's teachings. Of course, only on the premise of following the teacher's law can you become a family.

The imperial court stipulated that the doctor of Taixue could only be taught according to the teacher's law and family law, and those who violated the teacher's law and family law would be dismissed.

The law of the teacher should be traced back to the origin, and the law of the family is the extension and development of the teacher's teaching. As a result, "negligence does not break the note", stacking beds and frames, resulting in several schools of thought, and a number of doctrines in one family, everyone speaks their own set of theories, which is full of fallacies, so that later scholars do not know what to follow, so the cumbersome, fragmented, and dogmatic study of scriptures has become a prominent drawback.

For hundreds of years, the study of scriptures in this dynasty has been extremely prosperous, and there are more than 1,000 people before and after the masters, and the explanations of some scriptures have increased to more than 1 million words. The multiplicity of chapters and verses has made Confucian classics embark on a cumbersome path. For example, Qin Yanjun, the master of the Book of Books, used more than 100,000 words to explain the two words of "Yaodian", and used 30,000 words to explain the four words "said Ruojigu". Emperor Guangwu's scripture master Huan Rong's "Shangshu Chapters and Sentences" reached 400,000 words, and Zhu Pu's explanation was 300,000 words.

A scholar begins to learn the scriptures from a young age, and often learns to speak the scriptures until his head is white. There was a doctoral disciple named Guo Lu, who died violently under the candle because he thought hard day and night. The doctor's rhetoric is more regarded as knowledge, and it is as if it were their life to simplify their rhetoric. Wang Mang once ordered the doctor to delete the chapters and sentences of the Five Classics, each of which was 200,000 words, but the resistance was too great, so he had to give in to the doctor. Emperor Guangwu once ordered the Confucian ministers to discuss the reduction of the chapters and verses of the Five Classics, but no result was reached.

Such a bitter and difficult study of scriptures, but there are often thousands of students gathered in Taixue, who are willing to suffer and learn from the masters, why? Because scholars seek profit, only scripture is the main way, and the unbreakable strength of the chapters and verses is also because it is closely integrated with the official career.

After the teacher law and family law became prominent and popular, Confucian scholars gradually few people adhered to the theory of one family and one school under the influence of poking weft, and most of them also governed the modern and ancient scriptures. However, the result of this was that some Confucian scholars did not hesitate to take far-fetched ideas for a special purpose, which made the scriptures more difficult to understand and seriously hindered the development of Confucianism.

After Master Zheng Xuan's new scriptures became official studies, one of the teacher and family law was gradually abandoned, and the two chapters and sentences were deleted and simplified, which was conducive to the teaching of scriptures and the development of Confucianism, so it soon became the Confucianism of "the sect of the world". However, the two schools of modern and ancient scriptures are not willing to withdraw from official learning, and they always intend to defeat the new scriptures.

Xi Xuan and Zhao Song hurried over.

"Now there is an opportunity to consolidate the status of the new classics, completely defeat the modern and ancient classics, and let Confucianism develop rapidly." Li Wei said with a smile, "Are the two adults willing to seize this opportunity?" "Jump to
