On the 26th, the enemy in front of Hongkou and Yangshupu in the urban area of Shanghai, seeing the arrival of reinforcements, counterattacked our army twice, but was repulsed by the 88th Division.

On the 27th, the enemy of Zhanghuabang was attacked by our 87th Division and was forced to retreat to the vicinity of Zhanghuabang Station; The Japanese troops landed at various wharves in Yangshupu District, transported a large number of ordnance and heavy supplies, and counterattacked our North Station position that night.
