The only exception is in the Taihe Temple.

The edict official went out of the Taihe Gate, and the music stopped, and the quiet whip sounded again, which indicated that the emperor was about to return to the palace, and the praise official shouted: "Rank-"

The hundred officials changed from "standing" to "kneeling".

The chanter shouted, "Kneel—"

Hundreds of officials kneel, but there is no need to kowtow - this is just "kneeling".

As a result, the emperor descended, ascended, and returned to the Qing Palace.

After the emperor left the Taihe Palace, Wen Ming praised the officials and shouted, "Get up-" and the hundred officials got up.

Then, how everyone enters the Forbidden City, how to get out of the Forbidden City - out of the Zhaode Gate, Zhendu Gate, and then from the left door, the right door out of the noon gate, however, neither back to the Yamen, let alone home, they got to Tiananmen, in the south of the Jinshui Bridge "kneeling to listen" to the edict to read out the edict of today.

Besides, after the edict official and his entourage went out of the noon gate, they placed the edict in the Dragon Pavilion, carried it by Luan Yiwei, went out of the end gate, went to Tiananmen, and carried it all the way up to the Tiananmen Tower.

When the edict arrived at the Ministry of Rites, the officials of the Ministry of Rites had already taken the left gate of Chang'an, returned to the government office, led the officials to kneel in front of the gate to greet them, and placed the edict in the lobby, listed the incense case, and bowed three times and nine times. Subsequently, several copies were transcribed on yellow paper and distributed to various places to be proclaimed to the world.

This whole set of ceremonies is called "Golden Phoenix Edict".
