The ice on the surface of the river gradually melted, and the ground that had been frozen for the winter was no longer hard, but soft, and finally became muddy. The originally quiet construction sites in various parts of Liaodong began to be noisy again.

Since the opening of the main artery of the Northeast Railway, the transportation line in eastern Liaoning during the winter no longer waits for the long winter to pass before it continues to operate. Throughout the winter, the main railway artery connecting eastern Liaoning and the outer northeast has been operating at full capacity.

With the acceleration of the company's logistics speed, the material transfer work is no longer suspended for a few months every year due to the weather. With the advent of spring, the train from Vladivostok arrived in various parts of Liaodong, and as soon as the supplies were unloaded, a large number of young men from Japan and Korea would be driven onto the train by the Far Eastern officers and soldiers with loaded guns and ammunition, heading to the northeast. Each wagon was packed with people, stuffed like a sardine can. These people will become foreign laborers of the Far East Company and will be sent to the Outer Northeast in batches.

Northeast China's natural resources are a natural advantage for agricultural production, and it has the largest black soil belt in Asia and the most fertile in the world. In the northern part of China's vast Northeast Plain, the Songnen Plain between the Daxing'an Mountains and the Changbai Mountains covers an area of more than 200,000 kilometers, and it is also the only large-scale black soil belt in Asia.

The black soil is fertile, with deep humus and high organic matter content. The aggregate structure is good, and it is the most fertile soil. The black soil is located in the temperate humid monsoon climate zone, with an annual precipitation of 450-550 mm in Northeast China, with abundant rainfall and rain and heat in the same season, which is very suitable for grain production.

The Great Northern Wilderness of modern society has been built for many years. It has become a veritable "North Okura". But in the north of the Great Northern Wilderness, on the other side of the Heilongjiang River, there is a more beautiful and rich Outer Great Northern Wilderness. It has abundant water resources, vertical and horizontal surface rivers, considerable underground reserves, abundant atmospheric precipitation, a growing period of 174 days, and the best soil and climatic conditions in the Far East, which is extremely suitable for agricultural development.

The area of arable land and the total amount of livestock are very large. It is the largest granary in the entire Far East. There are precious mineral resources here, such as coal, iron, copper, manganese, tin, gold, diamonds, and oil, and the proven iron ore reserves of the Far East alone are 4.4 billion tons. It is also extremely rich in wildlife, with 44.3 per cent of the total area covered by forests and 167 million cubic metres of timber available for extraction.

In the mountains and forests here, tigers, bears, roe deer, and deer haunt it, and there are countless precious mountain treasures such as ginseng, monkey's head, fungus, and mushrooms. Red-crowned cranes and swans soar freely in the continuous swampy area, and rayfish, sturgeon, salmon and whitefish roam in the criss-crossing rivers and lakes. The grasslands here are vast and boundless. If you walk along the Great Samara Valley, flowers bloom all over the green banks. Dense linden forests grow on the riverside, and every two or three miles there is an apiary, and flocks of sheep float like white clouds on the hills of Biye.

The Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the company had the idea of developing the Northeast and the Outer Northeast several years ago, and organized forces to conduct a detailed investigation of the resources there. But because the company had been suffering from a huge demographic bottleneck, the plans were put on hold. Although the company's standards for the Daming displaced people have been lowered again and again from reception to final resettlement, the huge material consumption is still an unimaginable astronomical amount.

Especially after the winter training and political and ideological education last winter, a lot of resources were consumed by the company. But these jobs, even if the Far East is bankrupt, must be done. After all, the population is increasing, and before the resettlement of the displaced people, it is necessary to let the displaced people have a certain degree of organizational discipline, and also do a good job in the ideological work of the displaced people, so as not to bring hidden dangers to the internal stability of the company in the future.

Even in the face of such and such difficulties, everyone knows that this severe test is both a pressure and an opportunity for the company. As long as we grit our teeth and survive this difficult period, it will be of great strategic significance to the future development of Far Eastern Group.

Therefore, in the past few years, the company must be prepared to live a hard life, maybe for a long time, everyone may have to live with their belts. It is also imperative that the company's food shortages be resolved quickly.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry also had to start implementing the plan for developing agricultural resources in the northeast and the outer northeast ahead of schedule, speed up the development of agricultural resources in the outer northeast, and strive to completely solve the problem of food shortage in the company in the next few years.

A large number of Japanese young men and women have just been transported to Liaodong and will be immediately requisitioned by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and foreign laborers from Japan and North Korea will go to the Northeast and Outer Northeast in advance to carry out large-scale land reclamation and the construction of various agricultural and forestry infrastructure.
