Chapter 1029: Heshuo and Yarkand

In the future, the vast grasslands in the north of the Central Plains will no longer be dominated by Mongolian tribal nomadism, leaving only a small number of nomadic detachments to assist the company in implementing the plan of large pastures and family pastures.

Most of the Mongolian nomadic detachments, which had been integrated by the Far East Company, would migrate westward, and their main nomadic areas would be in the steppes of Central Asia and the East European Plain. In the future, there will also be some nomadic detachments in Australia, New Zealand and the American continent to help the Far East Company manage the pastures.

But before the nomadic detachments of the Far Eastern Company could enter Central Asia on a large scale, they had to first eliminate two important targets. That is the Yarkand Khanate in the southern Xinjiang region and the Erut Mongol and Shuote tribes in the Qinghai region. This is also the main combat mission of the Northwest Field Army next year.

Western Regions, the ancient Chinese collectively referred to the northwestern part of China. This magical region is surrounded by high mountain ranges, bordering the Altai Mountains in the north, the Kunlun Mountains in the south, Dunhuang in the east, the Pamir Plateau in the west, and the narrow valleys to Central Asia, and even as far as West Asia and Eastern Europe.

It is like a resting camel, and the uplifted Tianshan Mountains are serving as its hump, dividing the area into two parts, north and south. The northern Xinjiang is the Junggar Basin, with the Gurbantunggut Desert lying in between. Southern Xinjiang is the Tarim Basin.

These two basins are the gathering places of ancient civilizations in the Western Regions, and under any ruin, there may be ancient civilizations with thousands of years of vicissitudes of life.

It is also the place where the ancient trade route "Silk Road" must pass, and it is this ancient trade route that stretches thousands of miles from east to west that makes Eastern and Western civilizations blend and collide here.

The region was either controlled by nomadic tribes from the north or by the Central Plains dynasty in the interior, and rarely by political forces from outside the Pamirs. It was through here that the steppe empires of the Mongolian steppes launched blitzkrieg attacks on the Western world again and again, and then shook the whole world.

The Western Regions are vast. There are many deserts and Gobi environments, so during the first phase of the Far East-West Expansion Plan, the main targets were the Junggar Basin and other areas in northern Xinjiang and Western Mongolia. Although the Far Eastern Army also occupied areas such as Lake Balkhash and Turpan controlled by the Yarkand Khanate, as well as parts of northern Qinghai under the Hoshote Army, it did not attack southern Xinjiang and the inland areas of Qinghai.

The Yarkand Khanate was founded by the Mughal Saeed Khan, a Turkic nobleman of Mongol descent. He was the third brother of Mansur Khan of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate, and in order to compete for power, he and his other brother Helilie launched a rebellion against Mansu Khan in the Ili River Valley and the Seven River Valley, and in 1514 led his troops to capture Kashgar and overthrow the regime of the Eastern Chagatai Khanate.

The Yarkand Khanate is bordered by Jiayuguan to the east, Tibet to the south, Kashmir to the southwest, Uzbek to the west by the Bukhara Khanate, Uzbekistan to the Fergana Valley, and the Tien Shan Mountains to the north, and the Kazakh Khanate.

The current Yarkand Khan throne is succeeded by Abdullah, who has gone through a series of wars. The Yarkand Khanate once again united Tashkent and Fergan, largely reverting to the territory of the Saided period. In 1680, the Yarkand Khanate was destroyed by Dzungar, which lasted 166 years.

And the leader of the Heshute tribe who controlled Qinghai and Tibet was not simple, and he was a very famous Gushi Khan in history, whose real name was Tulu Baihu. Genghis Khan's brother Habtu Hassar is the nineteenth grandson, and the fourth son of Haninoyan Honggol. His grandfather, Bobemir, and his father, Hanino Yan Honggol, were Erut Khan.

In the first month of the tenth year of Chongzhen, Gu Shi Khan annihilated the Khalkha tribe of Qinghai and the Yellow Sect, and his troops were 40,000 people. Occupied Qinghai. Two years later, he destroyed the Kham District Baili Tustonyue Dorjee. Later, he entered Tibet to annihilate the Zangba Khan, who was an enemy of the Yellow Sect, and seized the local power in Tibet. He vigorously supported the Yellow Sect and became the supreme ruler of the entire Tibetan region.

Gushi Khan sat in Lhasa and established local government in Tibet. In order to consolidate the rear, Gushi Khan divided the Qinghai territory into two wings, the left and the right, starting from the East Keer Monastery in the west of Xining, and the east and north along the upper reaches of the present-day Huangshui, Qinghai Lake, Buha River, Bulongji River and Ejina River. The west and south are on the right flank. Each of his ten sons led his troops to the herds, which became the base of Heshuot.

Next year, the Northwest Field Army's westward advance corps will send heavy troops south to attack the Yarkand Khanate and the main forces of the Heshute headquarters entrenched in Qinghai, and send troops into Tibet to exterminate the local government in western Tibet established by Gushi Khan.

At this point, the Far Eastern Army will also completely solve all the regimes around the Ming Dynasty. And then formed a situation of encirclement of the Ming Dynasty. Moreover, after the company takes over the north of the Yangtze River, the Military Commission will select officers and soldiers from the south of the Ming Dynasty, establish a unit that mainly focuses on battlefield operations, and form a southwest field army in the Burmese region, and when the Far East Company attacks the Nanming, it will sweep through the southwestern provinces of the Nanming.

At present, the westward advance corps of the Northwest Field Army has assembled in the area around Lake Balkhash. Starting next year, there will inevitably be a fierce conflict with the Kazakh Khanate, but the Northwest Field Army will not attack on a large scale, but will gradually advance westward with a policy of encroachment.

Next year, most of the main force of the northbound corps and most of the nomadic people in the south and north of the desert will begin to migrate all the way west, gradually entering the Kazakh steppe. While moving south to annihilate the Yarkand Khanate in southern Xinjiang and the Heshute Department in the Qinghai region, the Northwest Field Army will use one year to actively prepare for its westward advance into Central Asia.

In the spring of the following year, most of the main forces of the Far East, West and North Field Army and the vast majority of the nomadic detachments would launch a large-scale attack on the Kazakh Khanate, and then cross the vast Kazakh steppe and occupy all the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea.

The Northwest Field Army not only wanted to annihilate the Kazakh Khanate, but also continued to attack to the south and north. To the south control various stans such as Turkmenistan, Uzbek, Tajik and Kyrgyzstan. Head north to the lower Volga region of the Eastern European steppe. Take complete control of all pastures in Central Asia and make this area a pasture for the nomadic detachments of the Far East.

In the future, the Far Eastern Army will continue to carry out encroachment plans against the Persian Safavid Empire in the south and Russia in the north, and carry out large-scale harassment of the two countries.

At that time, the main force of the Northwest Field Army of the Far Eastern Army, the militia reserve force, and the Mongolian nomadic detachment will all send a large number of small units to wantonly move south and north with the help of the airboat troops, and carry out a bloody "three-light" policy against the border areas of the two countries.
