Mudanjiang Town is mainly based on handicrafts, because the nearby villages of the indigenous people in the Northeast are relatively dense. Every year, the town's supply and marketing cooperatives receive a large number of furs and mink, as well as various leather goods, old ginseng, mountain goods and herbs. Therefore, there are leather products factories under the Ministry of Light Gong, traditional Chinese medicine factories and some handicraft enterprises.
The train roared past the town of Mudanjiang and all the way into the Vladivostok Special District. The train came to a slow stop in Bac Ninh Town, which is now Bac Ninh City. More than 100 people, including the heads of the Vladivostok Management Committee and various departments, as well as the heads of the local garrison, have been waiting here for a long time.

Today, Bac Ninh has become an industrial city second only to Vladivostok in the scale of the Far Eastern Company, with tens of thousands of employees in the branches of the Bac Ninh Iron and Steel Complex and its subordinate supporting enterprises. In addition, there are more than 20,000 people in Bac Ninh Coal Mine and its subordinate enterprises, plus special steel smelters, foundries and other enterprises, which make Bac Ninh give people a hard feeling and full of industrial atmosphere.
Zhang Jiang, now director of the Vladivostok Management Committee, was the deputy head of the technical group at the beginning of the establishment of the Far East Company. In fact, most of the company's internal employees who stayed in Vladivostok were the company's experts and technicians, and were nicknamed "Far Eastern Technocrats" by the company's employees.
Almost all the administrative and military units, including the company's headquarters, moved to Shenyang, but these "Far Eastern technologists" remained in Vladivostok.
