Chapter Twenty-Four: The Witcher and the Hunter

Seth looked at the blue and white in front of him with a blank look, swaying and slowly moving forward, the plastic plate in his hand was held in front of him, and his companion behind him poked his head to see what kind of lunch it would be.

The prison's cafeteria was unexpectedly noisy, as it seemed to be a place to sleep in addition to serving lunch.

Gray-green mattresses were placed between the dining tables, and tattooed men yelled, "Get your dirty feet out of my bed!"

"Get out!"

"You---say it again!"

Before the violence could occur, the sound of black batons pounding on the dining table rang out, "Prisoner!

It's a good thing that the floor is full of mattresses, and the cheeks against it are no longer cold ground, but sour and damp gray-green fabric.

"Hey!" the companion next to Seth clasped his hands behind his head and whispered to Seth with his face sideways, "Seth! Don't worry, the 'General' will get us out!"

Seth's face rubbed against the 'bed' of unknown people, and he nodded. He gave his companion a thankful smile, then turned his head and continued to stare at the black leather boots in front of him. 'How did I get here?' was a question that had been in his mind and could not be dismissed.

The sound of rustling sounded again, and some people frowned at the lunch they had spilled between the movements, and fell straight back, not knowing whose bed they slept on, watching the ceiling empty. I wonder if this will cause new disputes......

Seth stared at a lump of mush and two slices of bread on his plate and shook his head, luckily, he didn't really need food, if that was food.

"Go away!

Seth and his companions continued to look for a place to sit, not because they were bullied, but because they didn't need to. They were convinced that the 'General' would get them out. There's no need to socialize with these real prisoners, is there?

There are three of them in total, and against a guy who has little ability to resist Wells, the standard configuration of two is enough. But Seth is a newcomer, so no matter what he does, the 'General' will let him follow. He's out of luck.

The cafeteria was coming to an end, and the three of them walked to the empty seats, "I don't want to sit there." Someone passed by, whispering a reminder.

No matter where you are, there will always be such guys who are willing to talk to 'fresh blood'. Even if they don't want to admit it, they are all trapped here, and there are always people who are willing to uphold the principle of human nature and take the first step in human relationships.

The three of them looked at the middle-aged fellow, who was as thin and sallow as most of the people here. "Why?" "They're the guys from the 'Black House.'" The middle-aged man lowered his voice, "You are the 'general' people, sit here." ”

Seth didn't feel any difference, they were sitting just a little down the aisle from the guys in the 'Black House', but his companion was already seated, and he had to follow the crowd.

The tables where the middle-aged people were squeezing each other, and several people looked at the three newcomers with a smile, "So the 'general' is also being targeted!" Their tones were relaxed, as if they were chatting casually. "What did you do?"

"Just punched up a person. Seth's companion frowned, staring at the contents of his plate. I don't know where to start.

"Bad luck guy. The middle-aged man pouted, "I've heard that the 'general' is always very careful, and you guys are unlucky enough." ”

"Who are you?" Seth's companion stared at the middle-aged fellow with some displeasure.

"I'm nobody, just a careless guy. The middle-aged man seemed to be interested and approached the three of them. "I've always admired the General, so, are you guys ready to experience life, or do you have a job here?"

This question is too difficult. The three didn't know what to answer.

The middle-aged man shrugged at his fellow inmate and stopped asking.

On the opposite side of the table, a few people sat down, and the middle-aged man became interested again, and whispered, "Hey, do you see those people? You may know them, they are your 'general' competitors! They are here to work! Yesterday ......."

"Shut up!" the man across the table glanced at him.

The middle-aged man pursed his lips and said no more.

Seth frowned and looked at his companion, both of whom frowned, exchanging some glances with the person at the opposite table. Seth slowly closed his eyes, still asking the same question, 'How did I get here?'

But Seth was able to let go of his daze again, and someone's gaze made him have to pay attention.

At the end of the cafeteria, it is said to be a 'black room', and Seth doesn't know what a 'black room' is, but it seems that the crowd can't mess with people's lives. Anyway, someone at that table, looking at him with a frown, nibbling on a hard piece of bread in his hand. I don't know if it's because the bread is too hard, or if the other party is thinking about something, and there is an expression of overexertion on his face.

Seth frowned, and the other man stood up and walked this way.

"You, come with me. The hunter, who would have been watching death in the fall, stared at Seth and spoke.

The table fell silent, and everyone looked at Seth curiously, this guy who didn't speak actually knew the condemned prisoner?

"Who are you?" Seth's companion turned sideways, already with a threatening expression on his face, and it was everyone's responsibility to take care of the newcomer.

"It's fine. Seth frowned and pressed his companion, protected by two humans, he didn't know whether to be happy or helpless, "What do you want, I don't know you." ”

"But I know you. Rivench's only surviving companion stared at Seth, "From west to east! There was a hint of sarcasm on his face, "Now you seem to have found the perfect place for you, Blackeye." ”

The black pupils dilate and retract in an instant, and of course, no one notices. Seth stood up, tilting his head sideways, "Lead the way." ”

"Name. "There is no so-called private space in the prison, and the two left the cafeteria and walked into the toilet under the slanted eyes of the prison guards. A place where you can speak without being disturbed.

Seth didn't move, he watched as the muscle, though it had lost its elasticity, pushed open all the cubicle doors, making sure no one asked.

"Robert. The hunter sniffled, this was not his favorite place, the air was thick with a strong stench, and there were filled barrels with no lids in the corners. The sewer pipes burst, do you think those toilets are still working? Thank God that none of them 'exploded'.

"Robert. You are a hunter. Seth frowned, looking at the human in front of him, he wasn't sure why this guy called him.

"Yes. Robert covered his nose, "Soon it will be a dead hunter, and at the beginning of autumn, I will be executed." He was very calm at this time.

"I'm sorry. Seth didn't know what to say.

"No, I don't. Robert waved his hand. Then the arm went back under the nose, "I'm just here to ask you for something." ”

Seth didn't speak, he was now completely confused.

"I guess Barton City, it's also overrun by demons. Robert looked at Seth with a mocking look on his face, "You've finally grown a little bit, you don't run around anymore, and you know how to stay in one place and wait for your prey." ”

Hunters and witchers, no. Hunter and already a demon shunter, it would be naΓ―ve to think that these two could live in peace. In fact, it's rare for the two of them to not do it now.

Seth remained silent, wondering what the hell this guy was going to say.

"So I beg you now. Robert stared into Seth's eyes, his expression becoming serious, "If, I go to hell when I die." You won't stop me when I come up again!"

The inky black spread in Seth's eyes.

Let's put things in order.

Although Robert used 'if'. But think about it, what will this hunter who knows about the existence of aliens, the guy who wants to return to this world again, choose when the gates of hell are known to be opened?

"You want to be a demon. Seth stared at the hunter in front of him, "Why?"

"Why?" Robert's mouth curled up under the obscuring nose, and together with his narrowed eyes, it was a smile split in two!

"You want to know why?" said Robert, smiling, as he walked over to Seth. "How long have you been in Barton?" I don't think you'll be unfamiliar with the name 'Grande'. There was a strange sparkle in Robert's eyes, "Vampires, werewolves, banshees...... What a warm family to live together!"

The corners of Seth's eyes twitched slightly, something was wrong. It's clear, "You want revenge." ”

"Yes!" Robert's eyes turned cold, "I want revenge! They slaughtered my brothers! I want to give them back! Do you think it's incredible? I'm a hunter! We're driven by hatred!"

"You're selling your soul. Seth's eyes also froze, for hunters, the only advantage may be their absolute aversion to inhuman aliens, so that they will not degenerate into those themselves. It's the witcher, well, you can think of as a quality of Seth's jealousy.

"It's okay!" Robert stared at Seth, "Do you know what a 'dark room' is?" The coldness in his eyes was heavier, "It's dark, it's small, there's no exit! It's a very nice place!" Robert pointed a finger at his head, "It allows you to think quietly! Do you know what I thought about?!"

Seth didn't move.

"I thought about it! what a vulnerable bunch hunters are!" Robert himself replied, "We are human! We are too weak! Even with those weapons, those equipment! Guess what?! I'm here! It's not because I can't kill vampires! It's because of the law! I! I've been thrown here by my own people to die!"

The inky black in Seth's eyes seemed to be breathing, and the slightly squeezed eyelids made the corners of his eyes droop, which was a sad expression.

"Then why not?!Wouldn't it be better for us to be as strong as those monsters, but free to take revenge!" Robert laughed as he watched Seth laugh, his hand at his side raised, and a sharpened toothbrush handle pressed against Seth's throat, "What are you going to do! Agree to my request, and we may still be able to work together." Or now, so as not to trouble later, let me send you back to hell!"

"xx, xx, Seth, reception room, now!" the voice of the announcement echoed into the smelly restroom.

Two prison guards entered the toilet and dragged away the demon hunter with normal eyes. (To be continued......)
