Final case
Not long after Sissi left, Benjamin walked into the office and stared at the magazine in Zack's hand, "Your time is up, give it to me." β
"It's not fair, I'm being disturbed. β
As Benjamin's hand grabbed the top of the magazine and pulled it, Zack's fingers holding the magazine began to work harder. Subtle faults have begun to appear on the less delicate paper. I wonder if the editors of this niche magazine would be moved to know such a thing that only 'loyal readers' would do.
The phone rang.
Benjamin's gaze looked at the slightly vibrating earpiece, then back into Zach's eyes, "It's your job." β
"Louise. Zach summoned the only person who would follow his instructions in this situation.
Louise pursed the corners of her lips, walked around her small square office, looked at the two guys who didn't know how many years they had lived, shook her head, and picked up the earpiece, "Grande." β
"Lou, Louise. A low, weak voice came from the earpiece.
Louise's smooth brow furrowed, "James?" she glared at the two men whose eyes were starting to turn red and their faces were beginning to show fluff, "James, are you okay?"
The sound of slow, muffled breathing. Louise held the earpiece and pressed her hand harder to her ear, trying to hear clearly, "James, are you hurt?"
"No, it's not. The voice was still low and weak.
Louise reached out and snatched the magazine directly from the two aliens, and the earpiece moved to the middle, facing the microphone, lowering her voice, "James, are you in danger?"
Louise was too smart, she thought that this human detective who had met Grande at the same time as herself had fallen into some terrible situation and had come to call for help.
"Louise. A deep breath came from the earpiece, and Louise tugged at her ears to barely hear the other party's weak voice, "Georgina has been kidnapped. ...... by that hunter"
Zach took the phone and nodded at Louise, signaling the worried woman to reassure, "James, where are you." β
The voice in the earpiece paused, and mechanically reported a string of addresses. "Georgina's home. β
Zach nodded, and finally, the lost guy was back where he was supposed to be, although the process Zack was still unclear, but, hey, it's a good thing.
"What happened?" asked Zach.
But James didn't know if it was confusion or what was going on, and the answer was not what was asked, or in that weak voice. "Gram, Crowley just left, I already called the police, and it won't be long before this place will be closed as a crime scene......"
The sound got quieter and quieter, and finally it disappeared, and there was actually an intermittent, uh. Sobbing.
Zach frowned, crime scene?vampire hesitated. "You talked about kidnapping. Zach pursed his lips and asked, "You don't have any bodies there." β
"Nope. The person on the other end of the line seemed to want to cheer up, and the sound of deep breathing, with a tiny burst of electromagnetism, reached Zack's ears, and James continued. But the train of thought still seems to be confused, "No, there is no blood around...... Well, no one seems to be hurt...... Kindness. I'm at Georgina's house, Hunter, E, Robert is here these days, Eun...... Food, newspapers......"
"James. Zach frowned, "You're at the scene of the crime, Georgina's home, right?"
"Yes, I am. β
Zach shook his head, he couldn't believe that he would say such a thing, or to James, the detective, "Now, I need you to leave the crime scene." Because obviously, you're not in the state, you don't know what you're doing, you're just destroying the evidence that your police are able to get clues. β
There were a few disorganized chirps coming from the earpiece, and James actually responded, "You, you're right. I'm leaving ...... now."
Zach took the earpiece away from his ear and placed it in front of him, staring at the earpiece with strange eyes.
Louise bent over, tilted her head to listen to the beep in the earpiece, and frowned, "He's hanging?"
Zach nodded and put the receiver down.
James is broken.
No, James's mind may have been deranged, but his actions followed logic.
Georgina is missing, so he calls the police, but just as Emilia herself knows that the police can't find Harrison, James Lance's reason tells him that the police can't save him!
So, he called Grande, the only one who might still have a glimmer of hope!
The three people in Grande's office stared at the phone and waited for five minutes, but the phone did not ring again. Zach looked at Louise with a worried face, shook his head, and tilted his head to Benjamin. Benjamin pursed the corners of his lips and turned to leave the office.
It didn't take long for the Grande brothers' obsessed van to pull out of the backyard.
The vampire hat and sunglasses were fully armed in the back seat, and Benjamin, who was holding the steering wheel, was unobstructed by Zack, and randomly fiddled with the radio, "When we arrived, the scene was already occupied by the police, and we couldn't see it if we wanted to." β
"Didn't I hear him say, Crowley just left? Zach snorted, thinking about something else, "I don't know why she's there." Zach tugged at the corners of his mouth, if James took the initiative to find Crowley, he would be very sad.
Benjamin didn't need to look at Zack's expression, he could hear Zack's childish thoughts from his tone, and chuckled, "Shouldn't you worry about more important things?" For example, why did Robert find Georgina?"
Zach waved his hand, "It's too obvious, it's insurance." Zacra leaned on the back of the front seat, his head next to Benjamin, but he couldn't help it, and stretched out his hand to fight with Benjamin for control of the radio, "So don't worry about Georgina's safety." β
Two different hands flapped each other in front of the knobs on the radio, and Zach frowned, "It's us Grande that Robert wants to get revenge on." I left James alive in front of them at the time, and asked King to replace James and deal with the follow-up, which was a little too ostentatious. Zach seems to be reflecting, "Robert should have identified James as our Grande weakness." β
Benjamin casually tilted his head sideways, "Georgina is James' weakness, obvious." Benjamin suddenly raised an eyebrow, "Do you think Robert is still at Patton?" β
"Yes. Zach paused for a moment, and Benjamin flicked his hand away and dialed the radio to a channel with loud drums and loud music. It's a pity not gothic.
The vampire didn't bother to fight, and honestly sat back in the back seat, "Probably gone." Zach thought for a moment and shook his head, "If Robert still wanted to be a demon, he wouldn't have kidnapped Georgina." β
Benjamin tugged at the corners of his mouth. I seemed to understand, but I didn't seem to understand, shaking my head and moving seamlessly to the drum beat on the radio......
As Benjamin thought, when he arrived near Georgina's house, the intersection had been blocked by police cars, and he didn't know if it was because of the victim's own ex-girlfriend or because the suspect was the mastermind of the prison escape.
Grande and the others could only park their cars on the periphery. The vampire pressed his hat and searched for James in the uniformed police crowd.
"Hey, you guys!"
It turned out that the two were actually Detective Cholson, and the middle-aged detective trotted over and took the two to the other side of the street with an 'I understand' expression. As far as Cowson knew, Grande was also James's informant.
James's car was parked far away outside the cordon, presumably driven by Cowson, so as not to cause any psychological stimulation to James. Curson knocked on the closed window and winked at Zach and Benjamin. Left.
The safety lock of the car door could be clearly heard popping up, and Zach pursed his lips. The front seat door was opened, and Benjamin sat in the back.
Zach glanced at James, who was sitting at the wheel, and looked like he had come to his senses. This meant staring at the busy policeman in front of him with a gloomy face.
Zach moved his ass and pulled out a copy from under his body. Seems like a good thing to open up the conversation, "What is this?" Zach said in a relaxed tone. Feel free to ask.
"The case. James replied briefly.
Seeing that James didn't mean to take it away, Zach opened it very 'consciously' and let out a sigh to ease the atmosphere, "Well--the case of the missing person, the informant." Emilia ......" and then Zach's tone became eerie, "Missing man Harrison ......"
James turned his head sideways, stared at Zack, who had a strange expression in the open text, was silent for a while, and said without any tone, "What, you know this person." β
Zach closed the text and smiled, "Let's talk about Georgina, what do you know." Sue us, you know we will definitely help you. β
"No need. James was unusually calm, turned his gaze away, and continued to look out the window of the car at the police, "Georgina is no longer at Barton. β
"Don't give up hope so quickly. Zach smiled, "You should have fully understood that the world is full of unknowns, and nothing is conclusive. β
James closed his eyes and leaned back in the seat, "Crowley has confirmed. β
Zach raised an eyebrow, glanced sideways at Benjamin, and shook his head helplessly.
"Yesterday Robert went to church and confirmed that the demons had agreed to make him a demon just to help Grande control him. James continued, "He took Georgina hostage and left Patton directly, and now, well, probably no longer Massa. β
"We'll find clues, find out where Robert is going. "Now Zach can't think of anything else but comfort, it's the same as before, the lost person has finally returned to where he should be, which is a good thing.
"No, it won't. James opened his eyes, "Crowley had already done it, and she checked every thing in Georgina's house. After a pause, "Nothing." β
Zach frowned, the main purpose, still comforting, "We're not Crowley......"
James slammed his fist on the steering wheel and shouted at Zach, "I said no! It's over! I'm too stupid! I'm too weak!"
That is, the calm after the confusion, is it the outbreak now, our vampires' luck is really not very good, and we bumped into it ourselves!
"I'm so caught up in my own love affair that I'm ignoring Georgina's safety!Even if you warn you!" James's anger rose to the top and hammered the wheel again, "I put her in danger! I didn't know anything!
James glared at Zack, and didn't know what feud he regarded Zach as in his heart, and the flying debris threw on Zack's delicate face, "I'm the stupidest part! I'm too ......" James himself admitted, "It's so naΓ―ve!! Obviously the facts are in front of me! I still have to refuse! To deny! Ignore reality! Childish thought there was still hope!!"
Zach lowered his eyelids and wiped the 'water stains' off his face, actually feeling a little relieved, "Don't say that, you were right to call us, Robert is stupid, his actions have given himself a real death sentence." It's a joke, Zach smiled, "You know what I'm talking about." β
James took a deep breath, and in the position of a police detective, he would not agree with Zach.
There was silence in the carriage for a while, and the three of them, watching the police in front of them, kept harassing the citizens living nearby, hoping to get some clues. But all three knew that it was in vain, and James knew very well that the hunter's methods. If they don't want to be discovered, there are countless ways!
Just as Zach enjoyed a moment of strange peace......
"Harrison. James suddenly took the text from Zach's hand, "Do you know this person?" James flipped through the text, "I lost Georgina, and I won't let anyone else lose their precious other half." β
Zach was inhaling, looking in the rearview mirror, where Benjamin was already staring sideways at the roof.
"Don't deny it. James flipped through the information at the asylum, "As soon as I saw the way you looked, I knew you knew him." James's face was not very good, "What kind of man is he, a guy like Walter? It doesn't matter, he has a good girlfriend, and he shouldn't be far behind." If you have any news, it's best to sue me!"
Zach exhaled slowly, "He's dead." "It feels bad to be honest with James," he said, "he's a ghoul." (To be continued......)
