Chapter 169: Why Didn't We Ever Think About Coming in a Car?

Ivan ran all the way back to the castle with Hermione, and met Professor McGonagall who was welcoming the new students, and Hermione hurriedly stepped forward and reported the matter in a hurry.

"What? You say Potter and Mr. Weasley drove a Muggle car and were about to fly to school? Professor McGonagall was surprised, almost thinking that Hermione was joking.

As far as she knew, Muggle cars couldn't fly!

But noticing that the worried look on Hermione's face didn't seem to be fake, Professor McGonagall immediately understood the seriousness of the matter.

"I think Harry Ron may have been in some trouble to miss the train and come in a Muggle car." Ivan added.

"That's not okay, if you miss the train, you can send a letter and let us find someone to pick it up, how can they do such a dangerous thing?" Professor McGonagall rebuked angrily, her lips trembling.

What if the Muggle car Harry and Ron were driving had a problem, or crashed halfway through?

Thinking of this, Professor McGonagall said urgently.

"I'm going to your headmaster, Albus, now and ask him if there's anything he can do."

"As for you, now hurry to the hall, and don't run around!" Professor McGonagall gave a warning, and hurried away.

Hermione vaguely wanted to follow, but was stopped by Ivan, and they couldn't help now.

Walking into the Great Hall, Ivan pulled Hermione to find a place to sit down, and looked at the faculty seat, where Snape and Professor McGonagall were empty, and Chino's seat, which had been represented before, was occupied by Lockhart.

Dumbledore was also nowhere to be seen.

As the time approached, the Sorting Hat babbled about when it would begin, and it couldn't help but want to sing its new lyrics.

The freshmen became more and more nervous, and they all seemed nervous.

Several professors in the faculty chair discussed who would be in charge of the freshmen's branches.

"Listen to me, I'm afraid there is no one in the wizarding world who knows the Sorting better than I do!" During the argument, Lockhart stood up directly and spoke confidently.

In the face of the professors' blind expressions, Lockhart was trying to sell himself hard, wanting to get this opportunity to branch the freshmen. He repeatedly emphasized that he had presided over similar sorting work in Muggle schools many times.

Even Beauxbatons and Durmstrang, Europe's two major magic academies, invited him to attend the opening ceremony.

Unfortunately, the other professors clearly did not trust him, and finally Professor Flitwick, who had the highest prestige, jumped out of his chair, left his position, and walked towards the stage.

The Sorting Hat was finally able to sing, and while it didn't have a great voice, it sounded surprisingly good to the beat.

Then the freshmen walked to the front desk one by one, sat on small chairs and began to divide the house.

Professor Flitwick soon found himself unfit for the job, as a goblin couldn't reach the top of the students' heads with his feet in the Sorting Hat.

Just as Flitwick was about to use a spell to lower the chairs on which the students were sitting. The clever Lockhart had already moved a chair over and motioned for Professor Flitwick to stand on the chair and sort out!

Professor Flitwick was embarrassed by the manipulation, but Lockhart was unaware...

Ivan highly suspected that this guy was doing it on purpose...

Ivan looked at the small theater on the stage with relish, but felt that his clothes were being pulled, and turned his head to realize that it was Hermione.

"It's Harry!" The little witch was looking at the door of the hall at this time.

Ivan followed and saw that the grizzled Harry and Ron were about to sneak in through the door.

The two imps probably thought that no one would pay attention to them when they were in the Sorting House, but they forgot to look behind them, Snape had been waiting for them for a long time.

"Harry and Ron aren't going to be expelled for this, are they?" Hermione watched the two of them being carried away by Snape, and said with some concern.

"Don't worry, it won't!" Ivan said comfortingly.

Dumbledore would have fired no one from Harry, even if they had come to school in a magical car and crashed a beating willow.

Time passed slowly, and Dumbledore was late at the end of the sorting ceremony, and his expression was very flat, as if nothing had happened.

He gave a succinct speech, arranged dinner with his wand, and then departed again.

Ivan guessed that Dumbledore might have gotten the tail on Harry and Ron, after all, they had come to school in a flying car, and I don't know how many Muggles saw them along the way.

The Ministry of Magic estimates that it will have to send a large number of men to erase the memories of these Muggles.

If it weren't for Dumbledore's care, the Ministry of Magic would have gotten them in trouble...

But it had nothing to do with Ivan, who was eating a rich dinner on his own while thinking about what he should do this semester.

The first is, of course, to find the fragments of "Bloodline Origin" and find a way to fuse multiple bloodlines.

Secondly, you can't slack off in daily learning, accumulate student points, and improve your skill level, which is the foundation of strength.

There is also the practice of Animagus, and Ivan has not forgotten the agreement he made with Professor McGonagall at the end of last semester.

What gave Ivan a slight headache was how to get the legend value, this thing needed to gather five points to play a role, he only had three points now, and even if he completed the task of the mystery of the bloodline, it would only be four points.

After dinner, Ivan followed the other Gryffindor students back into the common room.

On the way back to the dormitory, Ivan overheard many young wizards discussing the missing Harry and Ron, and it was clear that he and Hermione were not the only ones who saw the Muggle car on the train.

After talking to a senior Gryffindor next to him, George couldn't help but turn his head to Fred and say in a loud voice.

"It's just so cool, why didn't we think about driving those two cars to school in the first place?"

Fred nodded, equally surprised, he and George had never had the guts to do this, because if their mother found out, they would definitely kill them!

They never expected that their younger brother Ron would have such courage.

It seems that they usually underestimate Ron...

Ivan listened from the sidelines, quite speechless about the logic of the two.

But it's not just George who thinks so, many Gryffindor wizards find it very exciting to travel like this.

Because of this, when the apprehensive Harry and Ron returned to their dorm, they were greeted by a round of applause, and many young wizards gathered around to ask them about the drive to school.

For a time, the two were even treated like heroes, as if they had done something amazing.

Harry and Ron were embarrassed at first, but slowly forgot about their near-death experience, and talked to Neville in the dorm about the thrilling experience of the day...

Ivan yawned and went back to bed, hoping that they would be able to laugh tomorrow...
