Chapter 268: The Owl and the Black Dog

Next to the newspaper headline was a large, moving photograph of a man with a gauntard face and long, messy hair.

In the back, Sirius Blake's life and misdeeds are introduced, and the editor of the newspaper also reminds Sirius that he is an extremely dangerous figure, once using a spell to blow up half of the street, resulting in the death of more than a dozen Muggles...

Seeing this, Ivan put down the book in his hand and turned his gaze to the table and the finished compound decoction.

"It's time too... Just right! Ivan stood up and muttered.

"Sir, are you going to take a break?" Dobby noticed Ivan's movements and said happily.

"No, now is not the time to rest." Ivan walked over to the table, put the polyjuice decoction into the reagent, took out a few of the attacker's hair and put it in his pocket, and thought about putting Althea's one in as well.

Dobby's happy expression froze, and then he became very frustrated, but he still waited for Ivan to give the next order.

......

A few days later, over a street next to Privet Road,

A gray-white owl with a letter in its beak flapped its wings and stared at the wide street below, then slowly lowered its height and stopped in a dense grove.

The owl that delivered the message was naturally in Ivan's Animagus form, and he spent a lot of time in the past two days searching for Sirius' movements.

However, what Ivan didn't expect was that Sirius was even more hid than he had imagined.

Only once did he find the black dog in a narrow alley.

Sirius, however, was wary and did not stay there long before slipping into the bushes and vanishing.

Ivan had no choice but to wait for the rabbit near Privet Road,

Because Sirius would have visited Harry when he was kicked out of his house.

After all, it happened to be around Harry's birthday, and on such a special day, Sirius naturally wanted to meet his godson.

Ivan didn't think his presence could influence the outcome...

It was getting dark, and Ivan kept staring at Uncle Harry's house.

It wasn't long before Ivan heard a burst of screaming and invective coming from ahead.

Ivan took the initiative to get closer with the envelope in his mouth.

Through the window, he could clearly see a huge, inflatable middle-aged woman floating on the ceiling of the house, like a large humanoid hot air balloon.

The other was screaming in horror as the Vernons scrambled to pull Aunt Maggie down in the air.

There was a scuffle in the hall, and a few minutes later, Harry, who was carrying the suitcase, slammed the door and dragged it angrily.

Ivan waved his wings and leaned over as an owl pretending to deliver a message.

He wasn't sure if Sirius would be watching in the dark and spotting his owl that had been here for a long time, so it was better to be on the safe side.

Harry dragged his suitcase like flies down the streets, then collapsed from exhaustion on a low wall in Magnolia Crescent Street.

Remembering the bullying he had received at home, Harry's anger kept pouring out.

In order to be able to go to Hogsmeade Village like other little wizards this school year, he can be said to have endured to the limit!

Even when Uncle Vernon deliberately said that he went to a school for juvenile delinquents and was whipped and physically punished every day, he did not refute it in the slightest...

But only... He couldn't tolerate Aunt Maggie's abuse and insults to his parents, so even at the risk of being expelled from Hogwarts and breaking his magic, he had to teach them a lesson!

A deep anger burned in Harry's heart, but it was quickly extinguished by the cold wind of the night, and it all turned into a fear for the future.

He knew that he had seriously violated the Law on the Reasonable Restraint of Underage Wizards, and now he couldn't find anywhere to go.

The only thing thankful for is that the Ministry of Magic hasn't sent anyone to arrest him...

Maybe the people in the Ministry of Magic forgot about it, they must have a lot of things to deal with every day.

Just as Harry had a glimmer of anticipation, he saw a gray-white owl flying towards him, with a letter in its mouth.

Is it a letter from the Ministry of Magic?!

Harry's heart was pounding, his hands and feet were cold, he had expected this moment, but he was still very panicked when he actually faced it.

"Coo~" The gray-white owl landed on his shoulder.

Harry's hands were shaking, and he tore open the envelope with difficulty.

He thought he might see a sternly worded letter informing him that he would be expelled from Hogwarts House, or that he would be cut off his wand and imprisoned in Azkaban...

There's no worse to come, right?

Harry felt ready for anything, and placed the letter in front of him, written in pale gold ink.

[Happy thirteenth birthday to Harry Potter!] 】

The byline below is Ivan Hals.

Harry stared at it in a daze, holding the envelope and suddenly very moved, and his fear of being kicked out of the house was much soothed.

Although he is now desperate and in danger of being expelled from school, Harry feels that he still has friends who care about him!

I didn't receive Ivan's birthday card in the morning, and Harry always thought that Ivan had forgotten it, but he didn't expect it to come at this time.

Harry perked up a little, looking at the owl that had rested on his shoulder, not leaving, a little strange, he remembered that Ivan's owl didn't seem to look like this, what about Maka?

The gray-and-white owl ignored Harry, his eyes fixed on the darkness ahead, and the letter was just Ivan pretending to make himself look like a real messenger owl.

His goal has always been Sirius!

Harry followed the owl's gaze curiously, and there was a black hole, except for two eyes, which were very conspicuous in the reflection of the street lamp, and blinked.

Harry was startled and fell to the ground, his luggage smashing into his feet without Harry noticing.

"Fluorescent flicker!" Harry waved his wand and used the Light Charm, he didn't care about the rule that he couldn't cast spells outside of school, he had already broken it once.

The light dispelled the darkness, and Harry could see that there was a large black dog in front of him, looking very thin, with a pair of eyes staring straight at him.

You're finally here... Ivan in his Animagus form was also staring at the black dog, but he didn't do it immediately, after all, Harry was still here.
