Chapter 182: Experiment Log

Experiment Log, I, H&A, 2020471.

The laboratory has been set up, and the work of collecting psionic energy with special psychic powers is underway.

It's a pity that I don't have any assistants anymore, and the so-called "Sage" name can't fool those stupid low-level creatures anymore - they still have brains, do they?

But I can do this experiment alone, and to hell with those pathetic furry idiots!

I've got a couple of subjects ready, and of course, since they're still in their infancy, they're still in their infancy... Well, it's not perfect, but it's enough for the time being.

The first step in the experiment was to improve the shells of these test subjects to make them more tolerant and tolerant of psionic energy, or rather, to evolve organs that could accommodate psionic energy.

Hell, is there a complete psionic insulator in this world?

Experiment Log, I/2.1, H&A, 2020493.

The experiment failed, and all subjects died.

Not surprisingly, these subjects were so low-level that half of them didn't even survive evolutionary surgery.

All failed products were sealed, and the experiment entered the second phase.

I'll have to get some more advanced test subjects.

Hell, I hate this stupid human body and all that so-called "magic"!

Experiment Log, I/2.2, H&A, 2020524.

Some good test subjects were found today, including two humanoids who were born with strong psionic perception.

It's nice that I'm able to save a lot of work now, because the materials needed for evolutionary surgery aren't so easy to get.

Now, all I need to do is expand their psionic reserves.

I believe there will be a breakthrough this time!

Experiment Log, I/2.3, H&A, 2020585.

The experiment failed again, and all but two humanoids were incapable of reversible genetic disintegration at the moment of psionic infusion.

The two humanoids didn't last long, and soon I had to throw them into a petri dish.

But maybe it's a breakthrough, at least I now know that creatures born with psionic perception are more tolerant of this particular psionic ability than those that have been modified by evolutionary surgery.

This is a good finding, and maybe my next batch of subjects will be able to pick based on this finding......

Experiment Log, I/2.4, H&A, 2020664.

I've caught some of the more vivid test subjects, carefully selected from a variety of psionic lifeforms.

It's a pity that I can't risk being discovered and recorded by the strange rules of this world to reveal my true nature, otherwise those inferior creatures will definitely worship me as a god!

When the time comes, the test subjects will be automatically sent to the door......

Experiment Log, I/2.5, H&B, 2020700.

Damn it! The experiment failed again!

None of the test subjects survived the psionic infusion, and these stupid and useless low-level creatures didn't survive even a minute!

Bastard! It's a waste of my time and effort!

Maybe I got it wrong from the start, I've studied the genes of these lower creatures thoroughly, and the previous experiments have proven that these damn waste-like creatures are not fully malleable at the genetic level!

All evolutionary surgeries and psionic expansion experiments are a waste of energy!

Should I think of other options, or find other subjects?

In short, the capture of test subjects for those low-level creatures in this world is over first!

I can't afford to waste my time on the scum of these long and disordered genetic sequences!

They're not even good enough to be my experiments!

Experiment Log One, Close!

————————

Experiment Log, II/2.1, U&A, 3020214.

The experiment was reopened.

Today I caught some of the stupid creatures in this world who call them "demon clones", and these guys are perfect test subjects, their bodies are mostly made of psionic energy at all!

And these guys are related to the ultimate target of my experiment, so maybe I can learn something new from them.

Experiment Log, II/2.2, U&A, 3020279.

To be sure, I studied the bodies of these guys first, and I found that these ghosts with muscles in their brains simply don't have the conditions to store foreign psionic energy in their bodies.

And the psionic component of these guys is still dissipating rapidly, and it's obvious that this is the hell of this world's rules.

I had to be forced to use body remodeling surgery to completely fix their form, but after that, I was desperate to find that these ghosts still didn't have the conditions to store any foreign psionic energy in their bodies after being reshaped!

Bastard!

Experiment Log, II/2.3, U&A, 3020344.

Yesterday I forcibly injected some psionic energy into the bodies of the so-called "demons", which I had done with the mentality of disposing of waste, but what happened later was very unexpected to me.

The demons who had been infused with special psionic powers had survived, at least until I was doing my analysis yesterday.

It took them a whole day and a night for their genes to break down, which was beyond my expectations!

How on earth did they have so many special attribute psionic energy in their bodies while not having a psionic storage organ in their body?

All in all, this unexpected result strengthened my confidence to continue capturing demonic experiments.

Maybe this time, I should catch some demons with the ability to "cast spells"?

Experiment Log, II/2.4, U&A, 3020398.

Today I caught some more powerful subjects.

According to the names of the inferior creatures in this world, these guys should be called "champion demons"?

Whatever.

Anyway, these so-called "demon clones" with special abilities should be able to take my experiments one step further, but I'm also interested in the special psionic traits that appear on them.

Perhaps, I should try to dissect so... Dozens?

Experiment Log, II/2.5, U&A, 3020443.

It's incredible!

The special test subjects I caught were actually actively absorbing those special psionic abilities!

This is unprecedented progress!

Those special test subjects seem to have become even more powerful after absorbing a large amount of special psionic powers!

Several of them are showing signs of evolution!

Could this be the evolution of those beings called "demons"?

I'm going to keep watching them and see where they end up.

Experiment Log, II/2.6, U&A, 3020527.

The experiment ultimately failed, and the subjects who were evolving continued to develop their genes in the process of evolution.

The same is true for other test subjects.

Oddly enough, however, the genetic disintegration of these subjects occurred at about the same time, as if something was stopping them from evolving?

It's an interesting phenomenon, and I guess I should work on solving this puzzle?

I'm going to look for more powerful experimental vectors, but this world is clearly gone.

Maybe I can make a batch of experiments from the genes of those powerful psionic lifeforms that I have obtained?

It's a bit stupid, and pure morphological similarity shouldn't have an impact on the final outcome of the experiment, right?

It's worth a try, though.

Experiment Log, II/2.7, U&B, 3020631.

Experiment closed!

I've made a batch of clones!

But the moment I managed to make copies of all the clones, the goddamn world rules of this world showed signs of discovering me!

I must kill all the clones to save myself, and I must get out of here, the rules of the world have begun to warn me.

Maybe next, I should go to the world of those two more powerful races?

Hopefully, the lab I left behind on another continent of this world will bring me some good news later.

Logs are closed.
