27. Who played whom

The Cavaliers got off to a good start in the second quarter, as their bench players not only rallied from behind, but also overtook the lead to extend the margin to more than 10 points.

McHale angrily called another timeout, even though it was less than half a minute before the official timeout. But the old coach couldn't wait, and the No. 3 players he sent one after another suddenly became unable to play, which made him very irritable.

How so?

In the first two games of the new season, Corey Brewer averaged 10 points per game and shot 50 percent from the field. Michael Beasley was even more impressive, averaging 22 points and 48 percent shooting in two games. It stands to reason that such a combination of main substitutes should be a strong point of the team......

Is that Chinese so powerful? Although the veteran coach had watched the video of the Cavaliers' first two games with his assistants before the game, it was only after tonight's first-hand experience that he realized that the defense of the No. 00 seemed to be a little more powerful than in the video.

It's like a ghost that follows you like a shadow, as if it will appear on every path you can survive, blocking a route that can be scored.

McHale had a bit of a headache, but luckily there was another player on the bench who he could trust, Kevin Love.

In an effort to develop LOVE, the Timberwolves sent away the team's boss Al Jefferson over the past two seasons this summer. So at this moment, when the team was in crisis, McHale did not hesitate to send Love back to the court.

It aims to narrow or exceed double-digit point differences.

Scott's side also began to slowly adjust, and by this time nearly five minutes had passed in the second quarter, and the main players were almost rested. But Wu was still on the court because Scott still needed to use him to contain Michael Beasley.

After the timeout, both sides returned to the field. Beasley looked a little depressed, and it was clear that Wu Dawei's defense had once again made him feel a little crazy.

So the Timberwolves' offense didn't start from Beasley first, and Kevin Love received a pass from a teammate in the high post and went into a 1-on-1 situation with Andre Vallejo on the strong side.

Vallejo didn't dare to get too far away from Lefou, because the girl had too far a range. But the two were too close to each other, which made Vallejo a little nervous, after all, Love was born as a guard, and his shooting percentage from beyond the three-point line can make many outside players in the league embarrassed.

So Vallejo was guarding against Lefu while moaning like a dissatisfied: "Assist defense, I need to assist in defense......"

Wu Dawei stood on the weak side, he kept his distance from Beasley within the reach of one hand, and then turned his head to look at Valejo. Although the Brazilian has always been active on the defensive end, it does not mean that he can defend against an interior player like Love.

The stalemate between the two on the outside soon became clearer, and Love shook off Valejo with a beautiful dribble, and then directly held the ball and killed in the paint area!

Seeing this, Wu Dawei and his teammate JJ Hickson hurriedly made up for the penalty area. In the face of the blocking of two strong men, Kevin Love did not panic and laughed, he rushed into the interior and then directly closed the ball to shoot!

Wow~

JJ Hickson and Wu Dawei flew as soon as they were tall and short.

It looks like Love has managed to trick the Cavaliers' three forward players in this offense, and this beautiful feint combined with the time difference seems to have made the scoring a must. The target center was impressed by a series of movements of Lefou, and the sound of exclamation was heard in the stadium.

So Lefu jumped. He wants to use a one-handed slam to blow the horn of the team's counterattack!

"Don't think!"

A yellow-colored arm was the only obstacle to the dunk. Wu Dawei's reappearance surprised everyone - wasn't he just being shaken away? …,

Just like Wu Dawei's reappearance surprised everyone, this inevitable dunk also had an accident. Kevin Love suddenly felt a huge force coming from the top of the ball, and it was like Tarzan pressing on the top, and he could hardly hold himself.

That's impossible!

Lefu glared angrily, but the basketball had already flown out of his palm! This was Wu Dawei's second block of the game! A wonderful face cover!

Morris Williams grabbed the basketball from the perimeter and then launched a fast break, and the Cavaliers pulled the deficit away again to 12 points.

The target center was still in shock, not because of the Cavaliers' fast break, of course, but because of Wu Dawei's sudden block. The large screen in the ceiling of the arena gave the replay at this time.

On the screen, people can clearly see Lefu shaking off Vallejo, and then rushing into the inner line, facing Wu Dawei and Hickson, Lefu lifted his weight lightly, he held the ball in both hands and a realistic feint, shaking Hickson and Wu Dawei...... Wait a minute!

From the big screen, people finally saw the reason for this cap. Wu Dawei was not deceived by Lefu's feints at all, he just stood on tiptoe, but made Lefu think that he had played everyone.

At the end of the day, it was Kevin Love who was really being teased.

It was a brilliant counteroffensive!

There was an uproar in the stadium, I don't know if it was because of the situation of the home team falling behind, or because of Wu Dawei's extremely clever defense.

The Minnesotans in the Target Center Arena realized that it seemed that the Chinese striker on the court, who was not in the slightest attention when he was on the court, had successfully defended the home team's many attacks.

From the lead in the first quarter to the big score down now, this period seems to be the time period when this unknown Chinese plays. He seems to have changed the format of the game just by defending.

Thinking of this, Minnesotans suddenly felt a thorn in their backs. I've only heard of superstars dominating the game with offense, and I've never heard of a person who is a nobody and changes the situation on the court with just defense.

Although this is still far from dominating the whole game, it is unheard of to be able to help the team change the disadvantages on the pitch and even take the lead in such a short period of time.

So, in the following time, every time the Timberwolves attacked, the Minnesotans were a little apprehensive. Especially when they saw that their players were holding the ball and facing the Chinese with the number 00, they were even more uneasy.

Fortunately, such a bad mood soon disappeared as Wu Dawei was replaced by head coach Scott. But everyone knows that this is not the end, there is still a whole second half without playing, and the Chinese did not even have a foul on him......

Wu Dawei sat on the bench, panting like a bellows. He didn't get a chance to play again in the second quarter, and he was tired.

In this way, Wu Dawei's count in the first half was fixed at 2 points, 2 blocks, 2 steals and 1 rebound.

PS: Finally ...... The network is finally OK...... I'm so anxious about the past two days that I'm going to have an endocrine disorder. The update starting tomorrow should not be delayed~~ Finally, I still have to talk to my big brothers, sisters, friends and relatives (someone asked, where did the relatives come from.) Zhang Wei spoke: Kiss everywhere~~) Ask for collection and recommendation votes, after all, we are also on the classified click list~~ It can't still be the level of 5 or 6 collections a day......

This is also too woody to pursue~~~
