Chapter 723: Preparing for War
While Patilina and the others followed "fate" to fight Haas, Jenn began active preparations in Passus.
Although it is said that after such a long period of tossing, the strength of Jenn's men is getting stronger and stronger, but he knows very well that in terms of combat effectiveness, he cannot compare with his other four brothers and sisters at all. This is not a difference in individual groups, but also a gap in groups.
In terms of combat effectiveness, among the forces on Jenn's side at present, the strongest ones are Jenn and Tinidel. Next up are Pattilina, Remilia, and Flandrew, who are only slightly less powerful than Jenn and Tinidel, but if you limit yourself to certain areas, they are actually about the same. And below this, there are Enoa and Elise and Sofina, but what these three people have in common is that their own combat ability is actually not very good, whether it is Enoa, Elise or the Red Dragon Princess, the position of Jenn is to support rather than output.
As for Tilis, Aina and Orphen, who were transformed into succubies by Jenn, have no combat power at all, and their current level is stronger than ordinary humans, and they can barely maneuver when they encounter high-level powerhouses, but if they are stronger, they have the only option of escaping. However, the original definition of race that Jenn had created for himself was not combat, so it wasn't too much of a problem in that regard.
This is only an individual unit, expanding to a group unit, the strongest under Jenn is still [Cultist], and this defensive god card has completely surpassed the gods in the Western Wilderness. Jenn can guarantee that even if the Nine Holy Sages descend to earth, there is only one way to die when they enter the range of [Cultists].
However, the flaws of the [cultists] are also obvious. It's a defensive card, and it's destined to not be able to move around like a normal army. So it's a big problem to use it to attack. At present, the only way is to expand the influence of the [Cultists] and passively launch defensive attacks. However, this card is too demanding for dungeon magic. If the scope is too large, the gains will outweigh the losses.
In addition to the [Cultist], the second hole card under Jenn's hand is [Alien], after such a long time of training, the number of [Alien] has now reached 15,000, which can be said to be the largest number of troops under Jenn. But it's a pity that the appearance of the alien is so evil that there is no way to come out to meet people. Until now, Jenn's xenomorphs have lurked in the caves of Passus, hiding in the shadows and roaming the borders. In Jenn's opinion, these aliens will be strange soldiers. But unless he and the Templar Order tore their faces, it would be better to hide the less pure monster of the Alien as much as possible.
As for the Dragon Legion, their strength is unquestionable, but the problem is that they are too few to use their numerical superiority to achieve their goals. In fact, the first few times Jenn used the Dragon Legion to fight the other party by surprise. And in the confrontation between the Chaos Coast and the Undead Legion, he had never summoned the Dragon Legion to help. Of course. In the eyes of others, it will be thought that he did it because it was unnecessary. But in fact, only Jenn himself knew that if he were to send the dragon legion into battle, there was a high probability of losses. In this way, it will affect your reputation. Before that, Jenn's dragon legion was a symbol of might, at least in two raids on a nation's capital. They have managed to establish themselves in the field. This deterrent can only be strengthened, not weakened, if Jenn's dragon legion suffers losses in the battle against the undead. Then it will weaken this deterrent, which is naturally something that Jenn does not want to see. In fact, no one dares to provoke Passus without a long eye. Much of it was based on the deterrent power of the Dragon Legion, and Jenn certainly wouldn't be stupid enough to do anything to destroy the Great Wall.
But that's just it.
From this point of view alone, the strength of Jenn's men is still far from his own siblings. Tinidel is the only highest-tier force, but Klein has three more beings who are not much different from her. Not only that, the undead legion far surpassed the [Sky Legion] under Jenn in both quantity and quality, even if he relied on [Alien] to fight, Jenn did not have much chance of winning. After all, [Alien] still poses some threats to living creatures, and it doesn't have much advantage in the face of undead creatures.
And Vivien's Black Dragon Legion is also a big problem, if you want to compare Jenn's dungeon system, it is equivalent to hundreds of gold SR to SSR level combat units, and under Jenn, only a limited number of people such as Elise, Remilia and Flandrew really have this level. From this, it can be seen how big the difference in strength between the subordinates of the two sides is.
The [Celestial Legion] and [Alien] are the only two legions under Jenn's command, and the number of [Knights in Bewitchment] is smaller than that of the [Celestial Legion], and these girl knights are more responsible for maintaining the law and order of Passus and protecting the monastery, and they are not skilled at all. As for [Alice], she was completely used by Jenn as a manor maid, and naturally she could not appear on the battlefield.
Not to mention the [Lororia Plane Chamber of Commerce] that Jenn summoned for Tilis and Aina -- just by the name, it was obviously impossible for these people to go to the battlefield with weapons.
Among the six attributes of the dungeon, [Alien] occupies the position of "anomaly", [Knights in Disguise] occupies the position of "humanoid", [Cultist] occupies "Dark", [Celestial Legion] occupies "Divine", [Alice] occupies "Nature", and the only thing left is ............
Thinking of this, Jenn once again set his sights on the "Necromancy" attribute, which is also the only poor attribute unit with a small number in the Jenn Dungeon panel, because among the "Necromancy" attribute, there is a poor unit stationed, and that is the [Banshee Guard (10)].
Speaking of the fate of this [Banshee Guard], it is indeed tragic enough, this is the first combat unit summoned by Jenn, but it is basically useless. In the early stage, he was able to assist Jenn in disguise as a necromancer, but after Jenn transformed Elise and was able to use the opponent's spells, the [Banshee Guard] was even disqualified from being used as a background actor for disguise. can only wander around in the barren mountains and mountains all day long. Jenn didn't care about this, and just treated it as a mobile sentry.
It's not that Jenn racist. In his current status, there is no way to summon an army of immortals to show off. No matter what the identity. As long as you have something to do with the undead, it's all over. And for Jenn, who had penetrated into the enemy's interior, this was naturally a more serious problem.
Of course, Jenn is also well aware that there are not only scary-looking creatures in the "necromancers", but also some necromantic creatures whose race cannot be determined by their appearance. But the problem is that these creatures themselves are also anomalous, and even if they can't be seen as undead, they will attract suspicion from others. What's worse is that the weakness of almost all undead creatures is divine energy. It also made it impossible for Jenn to summon an army of undead creatures to help. After all, he had a close relationship with the Templar Order, and if someone found out that there was a group of undead creatures around him, then it would be difficult to say.
Of course, Jenn can also summon units of other categories, but then he will have to distribute a balanced population. The population of the dungeon system is quite complex. Generally, the number of summons at the beginning of the card is fixed, assuming that a silver card has fifty units, then it will occupy fifty people. And if there are 500 people in this property, then it occupies 50 population units out of 500. However, each unit will level up, and as it levels up, they will grow in strength. The number of people will also increase. There are many cards that have even doubled, such as a hundred people at level 1. But when it is broken, it will become five hundred, and it is not impossible for the population to rush to 10,000 when it is full.
However, after the dungeon is upgraded to level 5, the player will be able to summon and maintain multiple units of the same attribute. Here's where the trouble comes.
According to the population of the dungeon, there is a limit to the number of people occupied by cards of each tier, and the cost of the population occupied by cards will vary according to the level. Take the highest-spec foil tier. Suppose there are 300 people in an attribute, and the player has two foil level summon units. Then the system will automatically divide the 300 population equally, giving each foil card 150 population units. This is not based on the number of units of the foil card itself. Rather, it is calculated according to the class consumption of the card face. Generally speaking, unless it is a special card, the population unit of five silver cards is equal to one gold card, and the population unit occupied by three gold cards is equal to one flash gold.
Therefore, if a player has one gold card and three gold cards, the 300 population units will still be automatically divided into the 150 population units of the foil card, and the three gold cards will divide the remaining half equally. Add to that the number of people that each card unit will occupy when it is upgraded, which can be quite a headache. In the unlikely event that the population of the card is not sufficient after the card is upgraded, the card itself will not be usable, which can be depressing.
Although the official explanation is to prevent players from using high-level units to cheat, many players still complain about this. Of course, there are some cards with special directions that are exempt from this restriction. For example, this is the case with Jenn's [Alien], which can take over all population units in the category with impunity, and give no life to other cards. So much so that players can't even summon new cards to balance the numbers. Because the system will cruelly remind him that "there is not enough remaining population to summon ........."
Unless he completely clears the alien card, he will have to cry to death on the street.
Therefore, if Jenn wants an army like the Xenomorph, it is better to be a combat unit with a certain attribute exclusive to the Xenomorph, just like the Xenomorph. But the problem is that the only vacant "necromancy" attribute at the moment is the last thing Jenn can use at the moment. As for the other combat units, Jenn didn't even have to think about it. After all, those summoned combat units are all useful at the moment, and they can't spare time at all. And after such a long period of training, most of them have already reached the advanced level, and in order to re-summon a large group of units that they don't know what they will use, it is obviously quite a stupid thing to dissolve the battle cards that they are using now. Because this is gambling at all, and even Jenn can only determine an approximate range, whether it is what he needs is another matter.
For Jenn, the only way that can be useful at the moment is to increase the experience value of the combat units in a certain attribute under him as quickly as possible, and then forcibly stuff them with upgrades, as long as they are upgraded to full break, then it should be no problem for a combat unit to have thousands of people.
Originally, Jenn was still struggling with who to take to level up, but when Patilina sent a message informing Jenn that they had come into contact with the undead army, Jenn had an idea. (To be continued.) )
