41. The Great Han Chapter of the Silk Road
The Bingzhou Army and the Flying Bear Army were thrown by Li Shushi to Xu Rong and Hua Xiong, and he himself embarked on the journey ahead with more than 1,000 elite soldiers, anyway, with the calmness of Xu Rong, a famous general in the late Han Dynasty, and the force of Hua Xiong, Li Shushi was not worried about those small forces. Seven or eight xs = small = say,
As for him here, he is surrounded by masters like Lu Bu, Zhao Yun and the two chief and deputy guard commanders, as well as outstanding young talents like Yan Xing, Yelida, Wu Ze, and Tuoba Liwei, whether it is his personal safety or the ability of the entire army to attack fortifications, he is trustworthy, not to mention that the elite of more than 1,000 people not only has his own personal guards, but also the Xiliang cavalry and alien cavalry commanded by Lu Bu.
If you count the two Su Xiaololi and Luo I am Radar He, who are probably at the outer level, and Jia Xu and Han Hao as staff officers, Li Shushi's team of more than 1,000 people is equipped with luxurious. And this still doesn't include Wang Ling, Wang Chang, Biqiu Xing, Jia Kui and Xiao Sima Yi, who are still very lacking in experience and ability, but it is difficult to say that they will not have a flash of inspiration.
The only thing that makes people a little worried may be the family members of the high-level of the state army, but with Ma Qing's calmness and Liao Chun, who is becoming more and more young and old, the combat effectiveness of the women's army may be very terrifying.
After arranging a qiē, the advance team led by Li Shushi embarked on the road to the north non-stop.
The Silk Road is an ancient commercial trade route that began in Chang'an, the political, economic and cultural center of ancient China, connecting Asia, Africa and Europe. It crosses the Longshan Mountains, crosses the Hexi Corridor, passes through Guò Yumen Pass and Yangguan, reaches the Suen River, and along the oases and Pamir Plateaus through Guò Central Asia, West Asia and North Africa, and finally reaches Africa and Europe. It is also a major route for economic, political, and cultural exchanges between the East and the West. Because a large number of China's unique silk and silk fabrics are transported westward through this road, it is called the Silk Road, referred to as the Silk Road.
The name Silk Road was first coined by the German geographer F.P.W. Richthofen in his 1877 book China: The Results of My Travels. Originally, it refers to the transportation routes between China and Central Asia, the Hejian region and India during the Han Dynasty, with the silk trade as the medium and main means. Subsequently, on the basis of years of research, the German Huttsen wrote a monograph "The Silk Road". Since then, the name Silk Road has been recognized by the world.
In fact, in a broad sense, the eastern section of the Silk Road has reached Korea and Japan, and the western section has reached France and the Netherlands. The sea route to Guò also reached Italy, Egypt, or the entire Roman Empire.
The traditional Silk Road can generally be divided into three sections, and each section can be roughly divided into three routes: northern, central and southern.
Among them, Yumen Pass or Yangguan from Chang'an all the way to the northwest through the Hexi Corridor to Dunhuang County is the eastern section of the whole route, and its whole territory is basically under the control of the Han Dynasty, and only the southern route needs to go deep into the mixed area of Han and Qiang.
The area that is now under the control of the country without thunder belongs to the middle section, and its whole territory is within the scope of the Western Regions in our traditional sense, and the Green Ridge is now known to us that there are often various frictions in the Pamir Plateau, it is worth mentioning that there is also another name here in ancient times, that is, the Buzhou Mountain where the Gonggong Institute crashed and the sky collapsed.
The above two sections of the Silk Road were basically formed by Zhang Qian of the Western Han Dynasty through the Western Regions, and the Western Section did not form a large-scale trade route in the Western Han Dynasty for various reasons, and it was not until the Eastern Han Dynasty that it gradually developed into a golden road to Central Asia, West Asia and even Europe.
Among them, the eastern section located in the territory of Dahan, the northern, central and southern three lines are also quite exquisite.
Most texts describing the eastern section of the Silk Road describe it like this: "From Chang'an in the east, to Longban in the west, to the four counties of Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan, and Dunhuang in the western corridor of the Guò River, and out of Yumen Pass or Yangguan." ”
The maps of Chang'an and Hexi are easy to find, and Yumen Pass and Yangguan can also be found on the maps of Dunhuang County or Liangzhou as the gateways for communication between the Han Dynasty and the Western Regions, but this "Longban" is not visible on the map at all.
If you want to figure out what this word means, you don't need to consult any ancient books, just go directly to the Xinhua dictionary.
The Xinhua dictionary tells us: "Longsaka" and "Longhan" are mutually false, and the first explanation is Longshan.
Well, if you still have some impression of the fourth volume of this book, you will remember the Longguan that divided Hanyang County and Youfufeng, and the Longxian County under Longshan Mountain, which used to be the seat of the Liangzhou Thorn History Department.
Of course, if you think that this Shanglonghan refers to crossing Longguan, then you may still have to miss a whole line, because the current Longshan refers to the southern part of Liupan Mountain located in the south of Ningxia and the east of Gansu, but in the Han Dynasty, the Liupan Mountain Range is called Longshan as a whole, and the highest peak Liupan Mountain is located in the center of the triangle formed by Xi'an, Yinchuan and Lanzhou City, that is to say, in the territory of Anding County in the Han Dynasty, it is 100 kilometers away from Longguan.
It is precisely because of this difference that there is a Silk Road that is obviously the same as Shanglonghan, and finally reaches Yumen Pass or Yangguan through the Hexi Corridor, but it is divided into three routes in the north, middle and south according to the different routes.
The northern route of the Silk Road is from Chang'an, along the Wei River to Yuxian, and then Yanjing River to the north through Wangxian, over Liupan Mountain, Guyuan and Haiyuan, along the ancient channel of the Zuli River, crossing the Yellow River in Jingyuan to Guzang, and then all the way to Wuwei, Zhangye, Jiuquan, Dunhuang to Yumen Pass or Yangguan.
This route was the earliest road to the Western Regions opened by the Han Dynasty, and its biggest advantage was that it was the shortest road to the Western Regions, but other than that, it was basically of little benefit. The Zuli River and the Zuhe River in its upper reaches, which is close to the route, are also called the Kushui River because the basin strata contain more salt and alkali, and the water taste is bitter and salty. At the same time, the river water in the Wuwei area has a high sediment content, which makes it difficult to obtain it, and it becomes very difficult to supply it after entering Wuwei, thus bringing many unpredictable dangers.
The southern route is from Chang'an along the Wei River through Yongxian, through Longguan, Shangtai, Didao, Caohan, north out of Heguan to cross the Yellow River, through Linqiang and Anyi area, the greater Doutugu to Zhangye.
Compared with the northern route, which has a treacherous environment, the southern route is undoubtedly much more abundant in water and grass, and there are many people and herdsmen along the way, so it is very easy to get supplies, and it can also do some trade with various ethnic minorities along the way. However, the distance is far away, and even if you walk in Jincheng County after coming north out of Heguan here, it also belongs to the Han-Hu mixed area, not to mention that the distance before crossing the Dadou Valley is basically controlled by the Qiang people, and it is easy to be attacked by unknown foreign tribes, and the security is a little worrying.
As a result, over time, a central route was formed that was shorter than the southern route, easier to replenish than the northern route, and safer to complete the route.
In fact, the distance of the middle line is not a fixed line, but the result of the merchant's compromise according to their own needs after combining the two routes in the north and south, so it can be said that as long as the route is located in the middle of the area where the two routes are on the edge of the north and south routes, it can be regarded as the middle line.
There are two main routes:
One of them was initially more inclined to the northern route, but after crossing Longshan from Wushi, it did not go north to Guyuan, but went west to the area of the current Huining, and then turned north from Jincheng County, crossed the southeast end of Lenglongling, the northern branch of the Qilian Mountains at the junction of Wuwei County and Jincheng County, and the Wusheling Ridge, which is the natural boundary between the Longzhong Plateau and the Hexi Corridor, to Guzang, the Zhishu of Wuwei County.
The other is separated from the southern line in Shangqi, crosses Longshan, goes to Jincheng County, crosses the Yellow River, traces the Zhuanglang River, and turns over the Wusheling to Guzang. In other words, starting from Jincheng County, the two routes have actually overlapped with each other, and the other routes of the middle route are also about the same.
"I'll tell you the truth, what the hell are you trying to do with so much rambling into the air over there."
War horses galloping on the official road, although it is only the scale of more than 1,000 people, but the number of war horses is more than 2,000, obviously a person and two horses, in addition to a few magical horses that are enough to make people drool - in fact, there are only Li Shushi riding claws and Miss Luo He riding Lu, for Lu Bu, who loves horses, even if he knows that the red rabbit horse can travel thousands of miles a day without panting, but it is still equipped with a good war horse as a replacement.
It is precisely because of this that he has the leisure to joke about Li Shushi, who has been chattering at the sunset since just now, and doesn't know what he is talking about, although he knows Li Shushi's special "hobby" of habitually wandering on weekdays.
"Ah...... What's this...... Well...... this."
"Can't make it up?" A sweet voice came from behind Li Shushi.
Well, in fact, if the children's shoes that have been carefully watched have been discovered, it is said that Lu, who was supposed to be Su Xiaololi's mount, has now become Luo He's mount, so where did Su Xiaololi, as the owner, run away? The opposite ~ is naturally behind Li Shushi - to say that such a beautiful thing is a plot that Li Shushi has been looking forward to for a long time in more than 30 years of his life.
Su Xiaololi's good-looking figure and the rhythmic up-and-down bumps of the war horse when galloping...... Well, it's better to deal with nosebleeds or something first, otherwise be careful that the hp will run dry~
Probably because Zhen Qing, who is also his wife, took the "initiative to attack" that day, which gave Su Xiaololi a sense of crisis, especially when she saw Li Shushi, who was controlled by Loli, with a happy face on Zhen Xiaololi's back, it made Su Xiaololi say that she was also Lori, and her combat effectiveness was absolutely defeated, and all normal Xiang Lori, no, Li Shushi's welfare was one more kind.
Sure enough, monopoly or something is unacceptable, and only with competition can there be progress.
"Ahem...... I definitely wasn't thinking about comfort or anything...... No, no, I was wondering if we should stay in Hanyang. ”
"Hanyang?" Lu Bu said that he didn't quite understand.
"It's a great place to be......"
Speaking of which, many people have a nostalgic look on their faces, although perhaps the things they miss are not quite the same.
Note: The source of the Zuli River is on the north side of Huajialing, and there are two upper sources: the south source Li River is fresh water, and the east source Zuhe River is bitter water. After the current river channel converges in the south of Huining County, it is called Zuli River, flows north-west, and flows into the Yellow River in the west of Jingyuan County. The two rivers of the Han Dynasty converged in the northwest of Huining County, southwest of Jingyuan County, near the county seat of Zuli County in the Han Dynasty, and the demise of Zuli County and the rise of Huining County should have a great relationship with the confluence of the two rivers moving southward.
ps: Today is the day when the Arab League was established in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, and my father said that when Egypt was at its peak, it was not named Egypt at all, and it was basically directly called the Arab League. Time has passed, and organizations that were once prosperous are now in shambles. That's why the great man said it well - backwardness means being beaten, and development is the last word.
PS2: Today is still the day of the death of the famous German poet, playwright, and thinker Goethe, and those who like European literature and European philosophy will not be unfamiliar with this name.
PS3: It is said that several countries in East Asia are working on large icebreaker carriers to open up new routes. It's a good thing, at least the distance from East Asia to Britain, Northern Europe, and even Germany can be quite shortened, and at least the Bering Strait should be a little wider.
Speaking of which, I have to mention one more thing. Many people have been crazing the Malacca dilemma, although we feel a little bit of a global war thinking, but since this is the case, let's also mention a term, interested children's shoes can figure out by themselves: the Andaman dilemma.
In fact, the blockade of Malacca does have a great impact on water transportation in East Asia, but it is not completely without a solution, at least the narrowest point of the Kra Isthmus in Thailand is only 56 kilometers, and if Singapore were not a Chinese country, China would have made Singapore a dead city, just as China is now preparing to do in Ecuador.
But this is not the case with the Andaman Islands, which are part of the Indian archipelago just east of the Bay of Bengal, and the Nicobar Islands block off the Andaman Bay, which is the western passage of the Strait of Malacca and the Kra Isthmus. Port Blair, located on South Andaman Island, is a very good deep-water port with an extremely important strategic position. If there is a war, the only blockade here may not be any weaker than Singapore.
Well, that's it, that's it~
