Chapter 139: Depth

Henry closed his eyes and stood in place to rest for a while, he had consumed a lot of energy when he cracked the heavy demon amplification control device just now. He's still a little dizzy, and the Arcanists of Nethrel are as tough to deal with as the rumors say.

Seeing his pale face, the orc warrior whispered, "Head!" Are you all right? Your face isn't very pretty. โ€

"It's okay, it's just a little dizzy. Now let's go back to the hall and wake up all the synth monsters there, the monster inside has killed so many Arcanists, and it would be nice to have more cannon fodder. Saying that, Henry took the lead and began to walk back, and he already felt that there were about a dozen still alive in the entire hall.

Uncovering the magic, the group re-entered the hall filled with strange lifeforms. Henry first woke up the most powerful one with the control device, and in an instant, a violent thought rushed into his brain. He felt that his whole soul had been invaded by evil, and all kinds of crazy thoughts poured out of his heart. The eyes, nose, and mouth began to bleed imperceptibly, and it took a long time for them to recover.

When Henry regained his senses, he saw several of his companions staring nervously. He subconsciously glanced back and found the monster standing beside him. This creature synthesized from the most powerful devils and demons was panting, as if at any moment it might rush over and tear everyone to shreds.

Henry wiped the blood from his face and pushed the guy away a few steps. He only now knew how crazy these arcanists were, and the will that rushed into their bodies in an instant just now almost broke people's minds. These monsters created with opposing energies are full of desire to destroy miรจ in their minds. This may be one of the reasons why their final realizations will fail. In order to control the monsters, you must be connected to their souls. It is almost impossible for humans to stand this extremely tyrannical way of thinking.

"It's okay now. I've managed to bring this monster under control. Although the process was a bit dangerous, fortunately there were no major problems. As he spoke, he smiled at the other two.

Vaughn breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Henry regain consciousness, and he put away his weapon and wiped the sweat from his head. "Head, it scared the hell out of us. That guy just rushed out at once, drooling from his mouth, I thought it was going to eat you. โ€

Henry made a little water and washed the blood off his face. "If the confrontation fails just now, it will really eat me, I really don't know what these creators think. Crafting such a dangerous thing. I can't imagine what would happen if the innermost monster ran out. โ€

"Since it's so dangerous, don't try again. You looked really scary, your face was flushed and bleeding. If something goes wrong with you, we two warriors alone won't be able to save Amy. Zubosa said worriedly.

"We need these guys to charge, after all, the most dangerous first step has been completed, let me wake up the others as well." With that, Henry began to connect with their souls one by one, and soon a dozen monsters of different looks were charged.

The half-orc warrior smiled as he watched these guys walk out of the hall under Henry's command. "Head. I feel like you're more and more like the powerful and evil wizards in the story of the Tribal Elders. This is what he described. โ€

"The barbarian tribes of the north have always had a considerable prejudice against magic. I don't think what they say has any reference value. Saying that, Henry rubbed his head, and now the thoughts of a dozen monsters converge in his brain, and if he is not careful, he will be affected by them.

Vaughn shook his head and quibbled, "There are also quite a few stories that are true, such as Akar. Kaisso is a truly evil mage. He commanded an army of monsters to sweep through the area, and in the end, if it weren't for the help of the barbarians, Ten Towns would have fallen long ago. โ€

"Akar. Kaisso is nothing but a pathetic apprentice, and the only reason he has great power is because of the broken crystal "Clincinibbon". Even someone like me who grew up in the arena has heard of it, and it's no surprise that a strategic, stupid guy like him fails. Zuvoza unceremoniously revealed the truth.

Henry smiled and didn't speak. He had seen the whole thing in books, and a stupid apprentice would not be able to control it even if he had great power all at once. Kessot confirms this very well. "Now let's continue to walk inside, I believe that with these powerful monsters opening the way, it won't be long before we can come to the end." As he spoke, he followed from a distance with everyone.

Just as Henry and his party were heading inside, Amy encountered the biggest crisis of her life. She slowly opened her eyes and rubbed the back of her aching head. Suddenly, she felt the ground shake, and when she looked closely, she realized that she was actually locked in a small cage, and this cage was still hanging in the air.

Calming down, Amy began to take a closer look at her surroundings. It's a hollowed-out mountain with a small patch of sky overhead. Beehive-like caves have been carved out of the stone walls on both sides. Ropes were drawn between the walls on either side, and countless cages hung from these mid-air ropes, where various beasts, monsters, and humanoids were imprisoned. The surrounding hermas and sub-bee people flew to the cage from time to time to put down a little food for the prisoners, and then hurried away.

Amy was surprised by the strange sight in front of her, as she knew that the Abel Bees were insect-like humanoids known for their diligence and complex social structure. These humanoid societies have a strong sense of expansion, making it almost impossible to live with other creatures. Just when she couldn't figure it out, there was a sudden earth-shattering roar from the bottom of the cave, and a huge rock below suddenly moved.

With the help of the torches lit around her, Amy saw a scene that made her tremble. The giant monster was several times larger than the dragon turtle she had last seen in the sea, with a huge head that looked like it had been put together, covered with a dozen mouths and countless eyes. It stomped its strong limbs furiously, and its thick tail kept sweeping around the ground.

When the surrounding bee people saw this, they immediately took off a dozen cages from the rope and threw them in front of the giant beast, only to see it glaring with its eyes, and the animals and people were frozen in place without moving, and then they pounced on a dozen mouths and bit at the same time, and after a while, only scattered bones and a large pool of blood were left on the ground.

After eating, the beast was content to regain its quietness, and it slowly closed its eyes and soon did not move. Seeing that there was no danger, the harpy swooped down to pick up the bones on the ground and flew in the direction of the cave.

Amy carefully wiped the sweat from her head and hurriedly began to check her belongings. It was soon discovered that everything except for the robes on his body was gone, including the dimensional bag. It wasn't hard to get out of the cage, but without the Flying Scroll, she would have fallen from a great height and smashed into a pile of flesh as soon as she stepped out of here. Just when she was at a loss, suddenly a small black shadow quickly entered through the gap in the cage, startling her.

"Bamberk! Why did you come along! What about the others? The girl looked at the daring parrot in amazement, knowing that it was full of flying creatures, and if she was not careful, she would be discovered.

Bambock shook the feathers off his body. "Be quiet, I've followed them for a long time to get here. The others should be on their way and won't be able to find it in a long way. โ€

Amy sighed with a bitter face. "They'd better never find here, do you see the beast down there? I found it more difficult to deal with than most dragons, and when I ate it, I noticed that the monster's gaze seemed to have a calming or paralyzing effect. โ€

"So what are you going to do, you're going to be eaten by this guy in one bite? I don't think they're going to give up on the rescue. With that, Bamberk quickly hid in the girl's robes, for he saw a sub-bee flying towards him. The beeman came to the cage and put down a clay pot and turned away without saying a word, and only after he had flown away did the parrot carefully emerge from under his clothes.

Amy dipped her fingers in the jar and licked it, and found that it was a porridge made from unknown things, and the taste was very sweet. She drank most of it in one gulp and gave the rest to the parrot. "Eat some, you'll be hungry by now after flying all this way. I now have an escape plan, and whether or not I succeed depends on your cousin. โ€

Bamberk flew to the jar and drank the porridge as he replied, "Tell me what the plan is, Uncle Ben is the greatest parrot of all time, and nothing can make it difficult for me." โ€

The girl smiled, and the parrot's usual big words made her feel a little more relieved. "You're going to find my belongings and steal them back. As long as I have the various potions and scrolls in the dimensional bag, I can use spells to hide and fly out of the hole above. โ€

Bambock shook his head triumphantly. "That's no problem, but there is one condition, no matter what I say in the future, you can't gag me again."

Amy had a laughing and crying expression, she didn't expect that in such a dangerous environment, this parrot would still have the heart to think about this. "Well, I swear. No matter what you say in the future, I won't gag you. (To be continued......)
