Chapter 13: The Tomb

Exiting Amanda's room, only a few servants were waiting outside, watching the two people who came out a little nervously.

Zach thought about it for a moment, but decided to trust Mrs. Quinn's abilities.

Led by the servant, the two went back to the balcony in front of the atrium, where Mrs. Quinn seemed to like it.

"How is she. Quinn looked at the two of them.

"She's lucky that she didn't suffer any injuries and just recuperates for a few days. Zach smiled as Mrs. Quinn had arranged, distorting the facts.

Mrs. Quinne's eyes relaxed and she nodded. There was already a check on the delicate table, and instead of handing it out, she waved her hand to signal the two of them to sit down.

"Don't you have any doubts?" beckoned Quinn as a servant brought refreshments.

The two saluted and sat down, and Zach replied earnestly, "We trust Mrs. Quinn. โ€

Mrs. Quinn gave a rare smile, "Actually, I've been hesitating to find you. โ€

Zach smiled bitterly, his light green eyes searching for Quinn's expression, "Such an adventure, Mrs. Quin should not do it in the future." We should not pin our hopes in life on such an ethereal thing as the apparition of the Son. โ€

"Yes. Mrs. Quinn snorted softly, with a hint of sarcasm on her face, but not malice, "Do you prefer Barton's naked-naked statement?" Quinn glanced at the two of them, "I don't think you would like to be direct in this matter. โ€

Zach nodded, 'You have restored my dying body, and now my caregiver is facing the same thing, you come to restore her to health', if Mrs. Quinn asks for this, then Zach and Benjamin will also come here, but the purpose is not to save people, but to wash away Quinn's memories with the eyes of charm, 'health' is a very, very dangerous requirement, for humans.

"Mrs. Quinn is right. Zach continued to say with a serious expression, "However, I still want to remind Madame not to put any more hopes on this in the future. โ€

Mrs. Quinn's eyelids drooped, and she acquiesced, sighing, "There aren't many people in this world I care about, Amanda is." I admit it's a risk, but still, I'm willing to try. For that, I'm grateful to you. Mrs. Quinn nodded to the two of them.

Zach thought for a moment, nodded as well, and accepted Mrs. Quinn's thanks.

"But now that I think about it, the person I should be most grateful for is Alice. Mrs. Quinn looked at Zach.

Zach picked up the teacup in front of the table and tilted his head slightly, indicating that Quin was the same as the old fox.

Mrs. Quinn looked at Zach's expression, smiled, and began to change the subject, "I heard that you visited Reipter, doesn't she like it?"

"Wellโ€”" Zakla said at the end, "she's not fit into that environment." โ€

Mrs. Quinn's gaze fell on Benjamin, as if she took a casual sip of tea, "Listen to Barton, Lola likes you very much. โ€

"She just likes to hear stories about the war. Benjamin looked down at Zach and replied.

Mrs. Quinn put down her teacup and continued to ask as if casually, "How is Hank?"

"The same old way. Zach replied.

"What about the Great Dane?"

"It's still so edible. โ€

Mrs. Quinn was silent for a moment, and Zach waited quietly. He could tell that Lady Quinn was testing the composition of the Grande House, and that the vampire didn't feel any malice, maybe she was just curious.

Mrs. Quinn thought for a moment, then spoke again, "There is one more thing to entrust to Grande, you. โ€

"Madame, please. Zach leaned forward and made a gesture of listening.

"Thank you last month for reminding me that I've been thinking about and grave things lately. โ€

Zach was stunned, "Is the cemetery in the West End already about to start?"

Mrs. Quinn is talking about the real cemetery of her son and wife, the cemetery where the old Hank and the old Grande used an anonymous tombstone, located in the north garden of the cemetery, but the real name was written on the note.

Mrs. Quinn shook her head, "Not yet, the notice given by the city government is in the autumn." But ......"

Zach thought for a moment and nodded knowingly. The cemetery in the name of Mrs. Quinquin's son and his wife is actually just a mound of clothes, and most of the people who died on the battlefield cannot find the whole body, and the mound is just a way to pay respects. Quinn drilled into this void, but the real person was actually buried in the North Park of the former cemetery of the Grande West Side.

Two months ago, Mrs. Quinn made an appointment with Zack for the Quinn family's joint grave, and at that time, Zach did not understand Mrs. Quinin's purpose very well, and only thought that Mrs. Quinn was using her interests to attract Grande.

It wasn't until last month, when Hank Sr. turned over old accounts that Zack realized that Mrs. Quinn had been planning to 'correct his son' for a long time.

There have been a lot of people moving the graves lately, and it seems that Mrs. Quinn wants to take advantage of the large number of people now to complete this matter without attracting attention.

"Lady Quinn has any ideas?" Zach put aside his brain-settling tentative offense and defense and got into a working state, "Still, there have been a lot of grave movers lately. If Mrs. Quinn wants to do this now, I'm afraid she will have to be very far back in line. โ€

Mrs. Quinn nodded and added, "Plus today's church." Mrs. Quinn frowned, apparently hearing about the accident in the other churches as well, "I heard that there was also an accident in the Church of the Holy Son over there. โ€

"Yes. Zach nodded, "But it's not strict, it's just that the altar where the candles were placed collapsed, but fortunately, no one usually goes to worship." โ€

"Does it have any effect on funeral appointments?" asked Mrs. Quinn.

"The funeral that was supposed to be this afternoon was canceled and postponed. There was a hint of helplessness in Zack's eyes, they were all famous people in Barton City, he didn't want to offend anyone, but he offended everyone by postponing one by one, hey.

Mrs. Quinn felt Zack's helplessness, shook her head, and said comfortingly, "It's okay, I don't need a church. It's just a tomb, and I don't want to get anyone's attention. โ€

"I'm afraid it's hard. "Zach told the truth, the rituals in the church were really not necessary, but in everyone's perception, Mrs. Quinn's son and his wife were heroes in wartime, and it was impossible for the cemetery to be moved unnoticed, even if it was just a well-dressed grave.

"I know. Mrs. Quinn sighed and looked up at the Grande brothers, "So you can think of this as a legacy from the previous generation." โ€

Mrs. Quinn meant that the people at that time were buried by old Hank and old Grande, and now, it is up to you to transfer them.

Zach smiled, "Then, the Grande House can cooperate in terms of time, and it will be up to Mrs. Quinn to decide." โ€

"Well, I'll let you know when I'm ready. Mrs. Quinn's hand pressed on the check on the table, and only now pushed it towards Zack.

Zach folded the check and put it away, stood up with Benjamin, saluted again, and said goodbye to Quinn.
