Chapter 601: Nothing
"How did you and Mr. Kenobi meet? When everything was set up, Alfie asked straight to the point, eager to confirm his suspicions.
"That's a long story, are you sure you want to hear it?" Barnett pulled out another bottle of wine and began to drink, and Alfie noticed that this time he was not taking out a bad rum, but a bottle of expensive Imperial brandy.
"I just want to hear the point. "Alfie knows better than anyone how much Barnett is rapping now.
"I used to live in Snowfall Castle, the sacred land of the Alpine Dwarves......" Barnett recalled fondly.
"Important, to the point!" Alfie interrupted Barnett angrily, he didn't want to relive Barnett's ordeal, and if that memory was true, Wepp wasn't necessarily the bad guy. The feud between him and the mountain dwarves is nothing more than a conflict caused by his guilt.
"Uh, okay. Barnett poured a large mouthful of Imperial brandy in dissatisfaction, then twitched his cheek in pain before continuing, "One day, a Sanctuary powerhouse coveted the superb forging skills of our Alpine Dwarf Clanβ"
"That Sanctuary powerhouse is called Wei Pu?" Alfie's heart thumped excitedly, confirming Wei Pu's existence, and his dream was basically inseparable.
"That's right, how do you know?" Barnett was immediately frightened by Alfie's words before he could protest against Elfie's repeated interruptions, how could Werp be unknown and fall in a duel with Ophoras before he was really famous.
The old dwarf would never have imagined that this was only the beginning of his fright today.
"You've all been captured by him, and a meteorite fell from the sky?" Alfie continued to probe.
"That's right. You don't know, that meteorite contains a very mysterious metal~" At the mention of the meteorite, the old dwarf's eyes lit up, obviously with a deep memory of that mysterious metal.
"Krypton-chrome, I know, and that meteorite is actually a mechanical artifact, right?" Alfie asked in a brisk voice, now almost certain of the authenticity of that memory. So next......
"Huh, how do you know? That's a secret, and I'm afraid no one in the entire Arian Continent knows about it except me. Barnett's eyes widened.
"Robert I!" exclaimed Alfie.
"How do you know?" Barnett exclaimed, he couldn't even tell how many times he had asked the same question today.
"Don't you tell me that Mr. Kenobi's true identity is actually a goblin?" Alfie asked with a quick breath.
"Shh~ It's a secret, almost no knowledge of Mr. Kenobi's true identity. When Barnett heard the word goblin, one of them pounced on him, blocking Alfie's mouth, not even bothering to help the precious Imperial brandy bottle fall.
"Is that true?" Alfie's mouth opened in surprise, he didn't expect that he had made a prank joke about Barnett Jr., but he had inadvertently hit the truth.
"Tell me, how did you know this secret? The old dwarf asked, strangling Alfie's neck, and it seemed that if Alfie's answer did not satisfy him, the old dwarf would not mind killing people in order to keep the secret.
Only then did Alfie sadly notice that compared to the old dwarf who had knotted muscles all year round, he was simply a weak rookie, and as long as the old dwarf wanted to, he could kill him at any time! Now Alfie kind of understood why Kenobi, even if he was a strong man in the Double Secret Thyril Sanctuary, wanted to build Robert I as a car. In any case, that kind of sturdy mecha will give people an incomparable sense of security.
But then again, when Barnett became so violent, Alfie began to miss the dwarf he had drunk in his memory.
"Loosen up, loosen up, I'm going to be strangled to death by you!" Alfie rolled her eyes and begged for mercy.
"Hurry up!" Barnett urged, loosening his arm slightly.
"Didn't Tennair let me enter someone's memories to find clues to the key to time and space? As soon as Alfie's words fell, the old dwarf's arm slackened.
"I said how I had dreamed of that familiar scene again. Barnett patted his head, and it was clear that this was not the first time that the memory had come to him in his dreams.
"Just now?" Alfie noticed Barnett's words, "So you had another dream just now? is that memory?"
"That's right, but this dream is a little different from before. Barnett looked thoughtful.
"What's the difference?" Alfie felt his heart pound, could he really have traveled back in time and changed history?
"Well, how do you say that? It's like the whole thing has a different perspective. Barnett replied with some hesitation, "Previous dreams have experienced the whole event from my point of view, but this dream is from the perspective of a bystander, and it seems that I can see many details that I could not see from my perspective before." β
"What details?" Alfie's breathing began to rapid, "like the clue to the key of time and space?"
"What do you want?" Barnett squinted at Elfie, "Isn't that your job? β
Alfie smiled more ugly than crying: "It's unfortunate. I didn't find any clues related to the Plane Key. β
"What are you talking about? You really didn't get anything this time? So what are we going to do here?" Barnett asked excitedly, holding Alfie's arm a little tighter.
"Then again, it doesn't seem like there's a shadow of Tenael. Alfie digressed from the topic in hindsight. As soon as he woke up, he was so busy checking the memory with the old dwarf that he ignored Tenell. Alfie himself didn't realize that he was unwittingly in the shadow of the goblin Kenobi, and that the thoughtfulness that he was most proud of had a certain degree of vulnerability.
"Well, after you fainted, Tenaire disappeared without saying a word, not even the House of Illusions, leaving us in the Misty Forest, and then ......" Barnett showed a hint of embarrassment, "I also fell asleep." β
Alfie's eyes were full of doubts when she looked at Barnett, the guy was drunk again. It's easy to confirm this, just make sure that Barnett's dreams started with the right start.
"When did my dreams begin?" Barnett paused for a moment after hearing Alfie's question, and said uncertainly, "Maybe it started when Kaye appeared?"
