013 The Dragon Vein of the South
After entering this cemetery, I didn't make any further moves, because it was still early, and there would always be people around, and if I made a big move now, it would be easy for others to find out.
So I found a place where there was no one, sat down silently, and quietly looked at the surrounding mountains alone, to be honest, the mountains in places like Jiangnan are actually not very good.
I don't say this to say that the scenery of this place is bad, but on the contrary, the mountains and rivers here in the south of the Yangtze River are beautiful, and the four seasons are like spring, which is a good place for wind and beauty.
However, there are not many dragon veins in the feng shui in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
In Feng Shui, water represents wealth.
Therefore, the flow of water represents the entry and exit of money, and a pool of stagnant water is definitely not conducive to financial luck.
This is also why the south is so developed, because the south has more water, and the more water there is, the more economics will be stronger.
I really don't say this feudal superstition, the simplest example is that the closer to the sea, the more developed the local economy becomes.
But in the same way, everything has gains and losses, and more water does not mean that the dragon vein is good.
Especially for tombs, the dragon veins are equivalent to mountains, and the stakes between water and soil are naturally self-evident.
That's why I say that there is no dragon vein in the south.
The entire southeast coast, from ancient times to the present, the best place where the tiger stands on the dragon plate and the dragon veins converge is Jinling.
The feng shui of South Jinling is actually very good, it is the dragon of the ox's head, starting from Wawu Mountain, Donglu Mountain to Drifting Puli.
Shengheng Mountain, Yuntai Mountain, Ji Mountain, Zutang Mountain and the Ox Head Twin Peaks, especially the Heavenly Wealth Saturn.
The left is divided into a branch, and the Wushan Mountain is born to the Xishan Bridge, and the compound is reversed behind the elbow, and the big mountain and the small hill are born. The right branch is divided, the green Ping Mountain is born, it falls from the rotten stone gang, the Zhuxi Temple, to the Ande Gate, and the feng shui is born.
But his feng shui has never been able to gather into a dragon vein, which has to be said to be a big pity.
As for why Jinling's feng shui cannot form a dragon vein, there is a detailed record in Grandpa Zhang's notes.
It is said that after Qin Shi Huang unified the Central Plains, he began to tour the country and came to a place called "Moling" (literally means horse farm, in which "Mo" was a kind of forage for horses at that time), which was called Jinling in later generations.
He saw that there was a purple gas in the air, because in ancient times purple was also a symbol of the royal family ("the Heavenly Palace is called the Purple Palace", the emperor is the Son of Heaven), and Qin Shi Huang imagined that his Qin Dynasty could continue for eternity, so he thought that the purple gas was the royal gas, and a person would be born here in the future to compete with him for the world, so he ordered to chisel through the "Huaishui" at that time to make it communicate with the Yangtze River.
That is, to chisel the dragon vein, in order to vent the king's anger, this river was later called the Qinhuai River. In fact, that purple gas is some kind of ore on the Purple Mountain, which reflects into the clouds under the sunlight. As for the tiger standing on the dragon plate, there are different sayings, and the more common one is "Zhongshan dragon plate, stone tiger plate".
Legend has it that this statement was first said by Zhuge Liang.
It is said that as early as 333 B.C., King Chuwei destroyed Yue, built a city in today's Qingliang Mountain, and buried gold to suppress the king's anger.
At the end of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang raised troops, and the Confucian scholars Feng Guoyong, Tao An, and Ye Dui advocated taking Jinling to determine the world. "History of the Ming Dynasty: The Biography of Feng Guoyong" records that Feng said to Zhu Yuanzhang: "Jinling is the capital of the emperor, and it is the foundation of the first to pull it out." ”
Zhu Yuanzhang once ordered Confucian scholars to write poems for Zhongshan, and Deng Bo said: "Ao Zuli stands at the four poles, and Zhongshan is a dragon." This is a poem that praises Jinling for having the air of the emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang shouted loudly, Deng Zhiyan thought that Taizu was angry, and he was half scared to death.
Zhu Yuanzhang followed the advice of the Confucian scholars, and Liu Ji and others carefully built Jinling. Volume 21 of "Ming Shilu" records that in the twenty-sixth year of Yuan Zhizheng (1366), Zhu Yuanzhang built the city wall and palace: "In August, Gengxushuo, expanded the city of Kang. At the beginning, the old city of Jiankang controls the river in the northwest, enters the Baixia Gate in the east, is far away from Zhongshan, and the old is in the city, because the Yuan Nantai is the palace, it is slightly humble. Shang Nai ordered Liu Ji to wait for the place to be determined, to make a new palace in the sun of Zhongshan, two miles outside the lower gate of the old city of Lebai, so the new city was added, the toe of Zhongshan in the northeast was extended, and it was extended for more than 50 miles. The regulation is majestic, and it is all based on the mountains and rivers. ”
The feudal literati of the Ming Dynasty believed that there were only two places in the world that could serve as the capital of the emperor, one was Jinling and the other was Beijing.
The situation of the mountains and rivers in the world, majestic and magnificent, can be for Kyoto, do not exceed Jinling to if the terrain is generous, the pass is dangerous, the total choke of the Central Plains, and the swallow thistle although Yun Chang'an has the solidity of the letter, Luoyi is the world, the imperial capital, for hundreds of millions of years of peace and longevity, Mo Jinling, Yan Ji Ruo also.
Therefore, the Ming Dynasty has always had a dispute over whether to build the capital of Beijing or Jinling, and Ming Chengzu finally moved the capital to Beijing, but still left a set of central institutions in Jinling, responsible for southern affairs.
The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom also had a dispute over whether to make the capital of Beijing or Jinling. Hong Xiuquan insisted on setting the capital of Jinling, thinking that Jinling is connected with three Chu, the potential control of three rivers, the mountains are surrounded by screens, the Yangtze River is belted, Zhongfu has the image of the dragon pan, and the stone city has the shape of the tiger.
In 1853, the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom established Jinling, but in 1864 it was captured by the Hunan army, and the peasant revolution failed miserably.
Many historiographers believe that the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom should not have its capital at Jinling, but should have been determined to go on a northern expedition to take Beijing and win a national victory. It is too early to set the capital, and it can only weaken the revolutionary will.
As for what happened after the Qing Dynasty, everyone also knows it, so history has proved again and again that few dynasties can build the capital of Jinling for a long time, which is why all dynasties basically chose to build their capitals in the north.
Looking at the mountains in front of me, my heart is constantly pondering, and at the same time, I am also trying to make up for and study my own feng shui shortcomings.
In just one night, I felt that my knowledge of Feng Shui had also taken a qualitative leap.
This is also due to the fact that I am now in a position above the dragon vein.
In fact, it is not a joke that the place of beautiful mountains and rivers written in Xiuzhen is a blessed land, because in this kind of place, you will feel that your thinking is very clear and you will get a different understanding.
Before you know it, the night is already deep, and the sky is starting to dew.
It stands to reason that late at night is when the yang energy is weakest and the yin energy is at its strongest.
During this time period, due to the weakness of the body's yang energy and the day's hard work, human beings basically feel physically tired and fall into a deep sleep.
And ghosts will only come out of the grave through the yin qi and wander among the world.
It stands to reason that my current position is one of the best tombs here, and from a distance, there are not a thousand graves on the entire hill, and it is estimated that there must be at least 800.
It's such a good place, but now it's dead silent, and there isn't even a single lonely ghost.
