Five hundred and twenty-two days of floating life

After the once-in-a-century Hurricane Harvey brought a once-in-a-millennium flood to Houston in the United States, residents returned to their homes one after another to start resetting the disaster, but many people found alligators more than two meters long in their living rooms, corridors and backyards.

It turned out that due to the overflow of water levels caused by the hurricane, alligators in the swamps and deep waters around Houston lost their way and frequently broke into homes in search of food when they were hungry.

According to local wildlife organizations, more than 350 wild alligators have been released into the city by floodwaters, so watch out for Houston buddies!
