Chapter 535, Illusion? Or is it real?
It seems that there are still dozens of collections to reach 50,000, and the poor road is ready to cheer! ――
"What are you guys doing?" A petty officer dressed more gorgeously walked out and scolded in a language that Wei Xiaobei had never heard.
Of course, although Wei Xiaobei has never heard of this language, he can understand it inexplicably.
"We are wandering bhikkhus, who have come to beg for food."
Shakyamuni stepped forward and said truthfully.
"Bhikkhu? Begging? ”
The little officer glanced at the monks with contempt, but fortunately let the soldiers go, perhaps in his eyes, this group of unclothed, so-called monks, there is no threat.
Upon entering the city, the monks dispersed, each with a wooden bowl in hand, and each chose a path and began to beg for food along the way.
Even the Shakyamuni, the Venerable Mani.
As for Wei Xiaobei's current body, it is naturally impossible to escape.
But then again, in Wei Xiaobei's heart, this Sakyamuni is indeed a little different, not to mention anything else, just this begging, well, is actually the fate of the future.
In Shakyamuni's time, he was undoubtedly despised, but as the master of thousands of monks and disciples, Mani Venerable could undoubtedly assign people to sit and wait for food in the so-called lonely garden.
Well, just when Wei Xiaobei's body knocked on the doors of those residents and begged for food, the white eyes he received made Wei Xiaobei a little unbearable.
It's not just a matter of being strong-willed, it's a kind of maladaptation.
However, what surprised Wei Xiaobei was. The wooden bowl in his hand is only the size of a palm, and the food given by each resident can probably fill half of the wooden bowl. But after begging for more than ten households, the wooden bowl was still dissatisfied.
Could it be that this is a space treasure?
Think about it. Every monk has such a wooden bowl in his hand, and thousands of space treasures, which really makes Wei Xiaobei a little dizzy.
When he was about thirteen households, Wei Xiaobei saw a monk in front of him who was enduring the scolding of the head of the household.
If Wei Xiaobei was replaced by Wei Xiaobei, he was scolded so much, and he would have already taught the other party a lesson.
Even Wei Xiaobei saw the golden light blooming slightly on the monk's hand, but the next moment the golden light faded, and he let the head of the household scold until the head of the household scolded dryly. Close the door before it ends.
Wei Xiaobei's body stepped forward at this time and saluted the monk: "I've seen Senior Brother Youpoli." ”
"It turned out to be Sariputta's junior brother."
"I wonder how much my brother has begged for food?" Wei Xiaobei asked again.
"There are already ten households." The Upoli replied.
"I've begged for thirteen households, which should be enough, so we went to find the master and returned."
As soon as Wei Xiaobei said so, the Youpo nodded yes.
The two monks walked side by side, and Wei Xiaobei was struggling to look through his memory at this time.
Just when the two monks were questioning each other, Wei Xiaobei suddenly remembered that he seemed to have some impressions of the two names of Sariputta and Youpo.
Helpless in this illusion. All of Wei Xiaobei's skills and abilities are blocked, even if he wants to look through his past memories, he can only be like an ordinary person.
OK. Although the ability is blocked, the attribute seems to be still there.
When the two monks found Shakyamuni, Shakyamuni beckoned the monks to leave. When he walked out of the city gate, Wei Xiaobei finally remembered.
Originally. These two names are two of the ten disciples of Shakyamuni!
I don't know how many bhikshus Shakyamuni received, but there are ten of them that are recognized as the most powerful in later generations. Each is different, and in their respective fields of expertise, they can be called the first, so these ten disciples are also known as the Ten Venerables.
For example, the Venerable Youpo Li next to him is known as the first to hold the vows, and the Sariputta of Wei Xiaobei's body is known as the first in wisdom!
There are also the first Moggallian with supernatural powers, the first Fulouna with the first Dharma, and the first Subodhi with the emptiness, etc.
At this time, Wei Xiaobei understood a little, maybe this Vajra Prajnaparamita Sutra was compiled by this Sariputta?
Of course, Wei Xiaobei didn't dare to be sure about this, just some speculation.
After all, like writing about Master's words and deeds, I'm afraid a disciple can't do it.
Back in the Garden of Solitude, the monks left behind hurriedly stepped forward to greet and help, poured the begging food into a large cauldron, lit a fire and added water to make a fire, and boiled until the pot was opened, and then the Mahakala leaves assigned by the Venerable Mani were divided.
According to the rules, the most venerable person eats first, so the first bowl of food is delivered to Shakyamuni.
The elder ate first, and the second bowl of food was given to an old monk with snow-white eyebrows and a wrinkled face like a ditch.
After that, the food is scooped into the wooden bowls of the monks, and each monk takes a wooden bowl until there is one wooden bowl left, which is the food of the Mahakasya.
Seeing this, Wei Xiaobei couldn't help but nod slightly, there is no doubt that this kind of food sharing system completely eliminates the possibility of the person who presides over the food distribution to fake public and private interests.
If the previous meal was unfairly scooped, more or less, then the last wooden bowl must have the least amount of food.
Although this is not absolutely fair, it has at least achieved a relatively fair effect.
Anyway, Wei Xiaobei is really a little loveless for the food in the wooden bowl in his hand.
Begging, begging, just these two words, you should know what the food that comes from begging is like.
Although most of the Tianzhu Continent is located in the tropics, there are abundant food sources, but not everyone is well-fed.
And in the early stage of the development of Buddhism, everyone did not know the monks, and the monks who came to beg for food naturally did not get a good impression, even if the begging was successful, the food they got must be leftovers and the like, and then mixed together to boil, although it was detoxified, but the smell that came out if it could, Wei Xiaobei wanted to plug his nose.
And due to the limitations of the times, most of these foods are semi-hulled corn, well, imagine the feeling of mixing millet together and boiling it and eating it.
Rough cuts! Hard to swallow!
This is how Wei Xiaobei feels.
But he couldn't refuse that feeling.
Wei Xiaobei's eyes swept around, among the thousands of monks, there were those who frowned and found it difficult to swallow, those who frowned and swallowed reluctantly, those who swallowed with joy on their faces, and those who had a flat face, like a banquet, and ate the food silently.
That was the case with the Venerable Shakyamuni.
Okay, Wei Xiaobei remembers that this Venerable is a prince, although the prince at this time is probably equivalent to the son of the tribal chief, but he is always a prince, and he can regard herbivore as brocade food and eat it colorlessly, this cultivation is beyond Wei Xiaobei's reach.
After the monks had eaten their food and washed themselves, they sat down in the open space with Mani as the leader.
The one-year-old monk got up, exposed his right shoulder, landed on his right knee, clasped his palms, and said to Shakyamuni with a respectful face: "Xiyou, World-Honored One! If you come to protect the Bodhisattvas, you will be good at giving instructions to the Bodhisattvas. World-honored one, good men and good women have attained the three bodhichittas, so how should the clouds dwell? How did the clouds subdue their hearts? ”
Shakyamuni said to the old monk without showing a face: "Good! Wonderful! Subodhi, as you said, if you come to protect the Bodhisattvas, and give the Bodhisattvas well. Thou shalt hear it now, and thou shalt speak for thee. A good man or a good woman should dwell in this way and subdue their minds in the form of the three bodhichittas. ”
Hearing the answer between Shakyamuni and the old monk, Wei Xiaobei immediately understood the identity of the old monk, who was one of the top ten disciples of Shakyamuni, in order to deeply understand the Buddhist scriptures, and was known as the first Subodhi who solved emptiness.
The two continued to answer each other, and Wei Xiaobei was a little drowsy when he listened.
For Wei Xiaobei, who has just come into contact with Buddhist scriptures, it is really difficult to understand such a profound answer immediately.
Of course, if Wei Xiaobei's ability was not blocked, it might be much better.
But now, Wei Xiaobei is an ordinary person who is attached to Sariputta, and at most he understands that Nasu Bodhi is asking the Buddha what the believers in the world should do if they want to become Buddhas, and how they should exempt themselves from ordinary hearts.
And Wei Xiaobei didn't understand the Buddha's answer at all, well, I understood the literal meaning, but I really didn't understand the meaning.
Wei Xiaobei thought that maybe a senior monk came over and could understand that he didn't seem to have the so-called Huigen.
This conversation lasted for a long time.
In the end, the drowsy Wei Xiaobei could hear the voice of Sakyamuni gradually raised, but there was no harshness at all.
"Everything is like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and it should be viewed as such."
As the voice fell, headed by Nasu Bodhi, thousands of monks all stood up and bowed their heads, chanting in their mouths, and the golden light of Shakyamuni's body was magnificent, dyeing the surroundings into golden, and in an instant, all the heavens and the earth turned into golden, countless celestial maidens appeared in the sky, singing and dancing, countless smallpox fell from the sky, and the sound of Sanskrit singing resounded throughout the world.
Wei Xiaobei even faintly saw that the golden light spread to the boundless distance, spreading the voice of the Buddha's words continuously, and everyone who was illuminated by the golden light and heard the sound of this saying got up one after another, and their faces showed joy, as if they had gained some benefit.
Even when the golden light penetrated into the unknown space, a body filled with countless blood, countless ugly faces, and vigorous human figures who were fighting each other also put down their weapons, their faces were joyful, and they looked towards the golden light.
As for Wei Xiaobei himself, he only felt as if his whole body was soaked in a warm hot spring, but his heart was extremely peaceful, as if he was in the mother's womb.
In the end, Wei Xiaobei could no longer support it and fell into a stupor
"Lord Wei, Master Wei!"
I only felt that my body was shaken for a while, Wei Xiaobei slowly woke up, his expression was a little confused, looking at the person in front of him, he seemed to be a little unrecognizable, but a little familiar.
After a long time, Wei Xiaobei finally came back to his senses: "Are you Shi Yanming?" ”
That Shi Yanming looked bitter: "You finally recognize the poor monk, what's wrong with you?" Suddenly you fell asleep standing up? ”
"Ah, so sleepy."
Wei Xiaobei quickly felt his body while dealing with Shi Yanming, and breathed a sigh of relief after a while. (To be continued.) )
