Part 2 The Path to Sainthood Chapter 91 (Part I)
Inserting the card into his personal terminal, a hologram appeared in front of Renault's eyes as a burst of light flashed.
The footage was taken in a starship, and it looked like a landing ship or a transport ship of some kind, as it was filled with tall, heavily armed mechs.
Hundreds of mechs sit in two rows, stretching from one end of the starship to the last end, and they look spectacular.
A big man was shouting at everyone, "We're going to be airborne at 30,000 feet." Jump in as soon as the hatch opens, don't hesitate. The target is an inanimate planet, and we are given the order to find a hidden temple there and bring back the contents of the temple. Don't ask me what I'm bringing back, don't let go of anything that looks valuable, get it? β
"Understood!"
"Who else has questions?"
"Me, boss."
"Say."
"Is there a saint in the temple?"
Dahan replied: "If there is, I will definitely let you her, whether it is alive or dead, whether it is human or not." β
There was a loud laugh from inside the starship.
"That's it!" Dahan began to clap his hands: "Everyone get ready, Jonny is in charge of the first team, Clemen is in the second team, Dandy Bagh is in the third team, Corta is in charge of the fourth team, I am in charge of the fifth team, go!" β
"Let's go!" All the mech warriors shouted together.
The hatch opens, revealing the green planet below.
One mech after another jumped out of the starship.
The photographer was a member who jumped earlier, so he looked back from time to time. From his point of view, he could see that there were mecha above and below, and huge mechs were whizzing and flying in the air, like meteorites falling downward. The back thrusters are turned on, effectively controlling the landing speed and avoiding the pressure caused by excessive stalling, and hundreds of mechs in the sky are shining brightly, looking brilliant.
It didn't take long for the mecha to land safely.
A young voice sounded: "Clark, a member of the second team of the tough guy mecha regiment, is on a mission for the first time. I'll take back a record of my heroic battles, I just landed pretty handsome, right? Dad, Mom, and Leda, do you see? Handsome landing action! β
Then a young and handsome smiling face flashed in front of the camera.
However, his smile didn't last for a minute, and the next moment, a large field of fireworks suddenly erupted in the distance.
Flames rose into the sky, and thunderous resounded throughout the sky.
"What's going on?" Clark's body shook suddenly, and just now, the ground suddenly trembled, and he almost fell.
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack! Attacked by the Protoss, damn it, this is not an uninhabited planet, the intelligence is wrong! With a series of hysterical shouts, Renault saw golden figures appear in the distance of the screen.
It's the Protoss!
Renault, who had just fought with the Protoss, recognized these formidable enemies at a glance.
There were Zealots, Phantom Catchers, War Knights, and lots of Protoss troops he hadn't seen before.
They ran as fast as they could, sending out rays of energy towards the human mechs.
But what was even more amazing was the huge beam of energy that shot up into the sky in the distanceβit was heading for the starship in the sky.
Rumble!
Large fireworks rose from the sky on the holographic screen.
Starship Medium Cannon!
Before the starship carrying the Tough Guy Mecha Regiment could escape, it was blown to pieces by the fierce ground artillery fire, and turned into a large fireball falling from the sky.
Not only that, but there were also some mechs in the air that had not yet had time to land, and at that moment they were attacked from all directions at the same time.
Everywhere there was energy light shuttling through the air, and artillery fire was weaving through the sky.
"Ambush, this is an ambush!" Someone was screaming.
"Get out of here!"
"I couldn't leave, the starship was shot down. We have to hold on and wait for help!" It was Dandy Bagh's voice.
"Assemble, assemble!"
Loud shouts, mournful screams, dense artillery fire, and painful moans became the theme song of this battlefield.
Renault looked stunned.
Clark kept running, and the picture shook as a result.
From time to time he turned around and fired, but most of the time he was empty.
The image flickered rapidly, making the image appear a little blurry because of it, but in that blurred frame, Renault still saw a fanatic looming behind him.
Clark apparently found out about that, too.
He stopped abruptly and shouted behind him, "Come out!" Come out! β
Although he couldn't see his face, listening to his frightened voice, Renaud could feel his fear.
He shouldn't have shouted like that, it meant nothing to a fanatic.
The next moment, the figure of the fanatic rushed out from behind the side of the picture, and the figure instantly grew larger, covering the entire picture......
Renault sighed softly.
He knew that Clark was finished.
The hologram goes black.
After a while, it finally lit up again.
A familiar face appeared in front of Renault's eyes.
Dandy Bagh!
Compared to Dandy, whom Renault knew, Dandy on the hologram looks younger.
His face was covered in thick mud, his eyes were sharp, he still had a cigar in his mouth, and one eye was bleeding.
The smoke filled the hologram and dispersed, and Dandy's slightly hoarse voice said, "It still works." β
Then I saw the big hand covered.
Brush!
The image disappears again.
When the hologram appeared for the third time, Renault saw that it was already a hillside.
There are some mechs lying on the hillside.
Each one was covered in mottled scars.
Dandy Bager's face appeared on the screen again: "Dandy Bagg, the captain of the third team of the Tough Guy Mecha Regiment, recorded for the first time that this is the planet K-35 of the Branken Star Field, the Divine Envoy Galaxy. Ten days ago, we were ordered to land on the planet and were attacked by the Protoss. The starship was destroyed, communications were cut off, and we were forced to stay on the planet and wait for rescue, and I am currently the leader of this team. Oh yes, we've got sixty-eight fighters left. β
"Bag, Jamie is dead!" A call was heard in the distance.
Bagh looked back and turned to the screen: "Sixty-seven." β
Then, every once in a while, the camera would record, and most of the time it would be Bagh.
"The Protoss have been chasing us, they are in hot pursuit, and we have to run desperately to support until reinforcements arrive."
"It's been thirty days, why haven't reinforcements come yet?"
"Lake is dead, Abu is dead, and Shakar, they're all good boys."
"Reinforcements haven't come yet, and everyone is starting to despair. They thought they were going to die here, and I had to figure out a way. I told them that I had received information that reinforcements had departed, but they had been intercepted by the Protoss, and they didn't know when they would be able to break through. But we have to believe in the general, he will not abandon us! β
"The pursuit of the Protoss is getting tighter and tighter, they have about three squads, numbering more than thirty, this force is too much for us. They seem to have some way of finding us, these damn guys, they have incomprehensible powers. Our numbers are dwindling, but I can feel that their power seems to be waning. What a strange feeling. β
"Egan is dead, it's suicide."
"It was another chase, and for a moment I almost thought we were dead. But something strange happened, and those Protoss warriors suddenly retreated. I don't know what the reason for this is, but I feel like they don't seem to be very willing to approach here. Maybe there's something strange about this place. β
"Finally found! It's a temple, it's a temple specified in the mission! Damn, it's here! It's really strange, isn't the temple the sacrificial center of the gods? Why do they seem to be so afraid to enter here? Leave him alone, I'm going to go in first and see, maybe I'll find something. β
On the hologram, Renault saw an almost abandoned ancient building lying in front of him.
It looks like an ancient Roman temple, with huge stones and mysterious shapes, half buried in the earth and half exposed to the ground.
Dandy Bag enters the temple with a few Mechwarriors, and there are broken pillars and stones carved with strange patterns. There were some scattered pieces of bronze that were thrown on the road, and Dandy Bagh would pick them up and put them away.
It wasn't until they came to the deepest part of the temple that they saw a huge metal box.
"Looks like that's what the Federation wants." A mechwarrior said with a smile.
"How could they possibly know what's here?" Another fighter replied.
"They at least know that there is a temple here, and they know to send us here to die." There are also people who don't have a good airway.
"Whatever is inside, you have to open it and take a look." A warrior stepped forward and opened the metal box.
Just as the box was opened, Dandy Bagh suddenly shouted, "Be careful! β
Syllable!
The image disappears.
Gunfire erupted.
