Chapter 110 Xu Zhimo, I am fortunate to have it, but I am not allowed to die. So much for

One of the guardians of the Demon Hero, Xu Zhimo

Xu Zhimo (1897-1931), formerly known as Zhang Yu, later changed to Shima, was a native of Haining, Zhejiang, a famous modern poet and essayist of the Crescent School in China, and the cousin of Jin Yong, a famous writer of martial arts novels.

Xu Zhimo was born into a wealthy family and studied in the UK. His lifelong pursuit of "love", "freedom" and "beauty" (Hu Shih's words) brought him a lot of creative inspiration, but also ruined his life. Xu Zhimo advocated the rhythm of new poetry and made important contributions to the development of new Chinese poetry.

Xu Zhimo was born in a wealthy family in Haining, Zhejiang, his father Xu Shenru owned a power plant, a plum sauce factory, a silk village, and a small money village in Shanghai.

When Xu Zhimo was 18 years old, his parents arranged to marry 15-year-old Zhang Youyi, and then went to the West to study. For Xu Zhimo, this marriage is not happy.

After Zhang Youyi crossed the ocean to the United Kingdom, she found out that Xu Zhimo met Lin Changmin's daughter Lin Huiyin (formerly known as Lin Huiyin) during her stay in the UK. Later, Zhang Youyi and Xu Zhimo divorced. In the end, Lin Huiyin chose Liang Sicheng, the son of Liang Qichao.

In 1923, Liang Qichao wrote a long letter to him and earnestly advised him: "Don't let the pain of others be easy for your own happiness. The younger brother's move to achieve the happiness of the younger brother in the future is like chasing the wind, but it has already caused immeasurable pain to most people. 」

"The sacredness of love is the joy of today's young people, and the illusion of the amorous and sentimental person rises and falls. And it's extremely difficult to be satisfied. The sacred realm of dreams is fearless and unattainable, and it is in vain that it ends up with troubles. 」

Ren Gong also said: "Woohoo! Shima! How can there be a perfect universe in the world? When I know that I have an attitude of not seeking perfection as my attitude of life, I can appreciate the wonderful taste of life, and if I indulge in dreams that cannot be obtained, I will be frustrated several times and become angry. The depressed people are dead, and the death is nameless. Death is also possible, the most terrible one, who does not die or live and falls to the point that he can no longer extricate himself. Woohoo! Shima, but no fear, no fear!"

Shima replied to Ren Gong's letter, denying that he was exchanging the suffering of others for his own happiness. He replied, "I am willing to brave the world's stubbornness, and I will do my best to fight with me. It is not a special desire to avoid the pain of cruelty. Seek the settlement of conscience, the establishment of personality, and the salvation of souls.

Who does not seek mediocrity? Who is uneasy? Who is not afraid of hardships and dangers? However, if there is a person who breaks through, how can the husband be enough? I will visit my only soul mate in the vast sea of people. Got it. I'm glad I can't. My life. So much for. 」

"I taste the essence of my soul. In order to condense into an ideal pearl, it contains the hard work of the heart, and illuminates my profound spiritual house. And the vulgar jealousy. Lust numbs its soul, crushes its ideals, kills its hopes, and defiles its purity!

Xu Zhimo returned to Beiping after studying abroad and often got together with his friend Wang Ji. Wang Ji's wife, Lu Xiaoman, had a great influence on Xu Zhimo. Xu's father insisted on asking Liang Qichao to witness the marriage, Xu Zhimo turned to Hu Shi for help, Hu Shi really invited Liang Rengong out, Liang Rengong scolded Xu Zhimo in front of the public: "Xu Zhimo, you have an impetuous temperament, so you have no achievements in learning, you are not dedicated to love, so after divorce and remarriage, you must change your past mistakes and become a new person again." At the end of the ceremony, Xu Zhimo and Lu Xiaoman went south to settle in Shanghai.

Because Xu Zhimo divorced and remarried, he angered his father and interrupted his financial assistance, while Lu Xiaoman lived a profligate life, living in a 3-story luxury residence, with a monthly rent of 100 silver oceans, and many servants in the family, including drivers, cooks, male servants, and personal maids, these huge expenses made Xu Zhimo unable to make ends meet.

At the invitation of Hu Shih, Xu Zhimo taught at Peking University, and in order to supplement his family, he often traveled back and forth between Shanghai, Nanjing, and Beijing, and at the same time lectured at Guanghua University, Soochow University Law School, and Daxia University.

Lu Xiaoman, who is addicted to night life such as dancing, playing cards, and ticket plays, goes to bed at dawn every day and sleeps until two o'clock in the afternoon before getting up.

On November 19, 1931, because Lin Huiyin was going to give a lecture on "Chinese Architectural Art" to foreign envoys at the Concord Auditorium in Beiping, Xu Zhimo wanted to go to the venue, and at 8 o'clock in the morning took the Chinese Airlines "Jinan" postal plane from Nanjing to the north, however, the plane accidentally touched Jinan Kaishan in the fog and fell, Xu Zhimo was killed, and died at the age of 34.

Bai Yang (1920-2008) was surnamed Guo and his original name was Dingsheng. Later, his father changed schools for him because of the convenience of changing schools, and Yixue was named Nippon, and later changed his name to Guo Yidong due to the problem of going to university.

Born in Kaifeng, Henan Province, his hometown is Hui County, Henan Province. The pen name comes from the original homonym of the Taiwanese aboriginal tribe near the Zhongheng Highway Tunnel, which is homophonic "Gu Bai Yang" (now known as Gu Baiyang; Kubayang).

Another pen name is Deng Kebao, a writer known as Taiwan's Lu Xun.

Although he has written a considerable number of historical works, some of the more conservative (historiographically) believe that Bai Yang was not a historian (because his historical writings did not meet the standards of academic research in the traditional humanities), but rather a writer, thinker, and historical critic.

After nearly 10 years in political prison, Bai Yang is very concerned about freedom, human rights and dignity, and has founded and served as the president of Amnesty International's Taiwan branch.

He joined the Kuomintang in 1938 after joining the youth group of the Chinese Kuomintang in secondary school. In 1939, he married Ai Shaohe, and in 1940, his daughter Dongdong (Guo Suping) was born. In 1943, he fell in love with Cui Xiuying in Chongqing and married, and in 1946, during the People's Liberation Army's attack on Xixian County, Henan Province, he separated from Cui. and Cui Xiuying have a daughter Mao Mao (Cui Yusheng).

He graduated from the Department of Political Science of Northeastern University in 1946, and was found to have used fake academic credentials by the school in 1947 and was permanently expelled from the Ministry of Education.

Later, on the one hand, he served as an associate professor of the Department of Political Science of the private Liaoning Grammar and Law School, and on the other hand, he founded the "Dadong Daily" with his friends in Shenyang.

After Shenyang was captured by the People's Liberation Army in 1948, Bai Yang went to Beiping, then to Shanghai in 1949, and then to Taiwan with his teacher Wu Wenyi. (To be continued......)
