After the Japanese entered the city, the commander led a group of his subordinates and swooped down on the magical building. Finally, when they learned that this high platform was the place where Lao Tzu, the founder of Taoism, cultivated the Tao, those vicious invaders all knelt down in fear and apologized.

60 years later, in the war of that year, a Japanese soldier who fired a cannonball at Laojuntai made a special trip to Luyi. He knelt reverently in front of the old monarch and repented deeply. And under the stage of Laojun, a peace monument written in four languages was erected, which read: We wish the world peace for mankind.

The shaving ritual is very sacred and solemn. First, the perfume soaked in sandalwood and agarwood is sprinkled around to make the venue clean and fragrant. Seven feet around the perimeter, banners are hung at the four corners. Then the old mage and Acharya sat down.

Su originally bowed downwards to say goodbye to his parents and thank them for their years of nurturing.

Parents are so gracious that no amount of worldly possessions they use is enough to repay them. Only when a monk practices and liberates his relatives from reincarnation can he complete his filial piety. Therefore, being a monk is not unfilial piety, but great filial piety, and it is the most filial piety in the world.

Then the old master gave Su Yuan a lecture and observed the hair, hair, claws, teeth, and skin on his body. These parts that make up our color bodies are the result of the union of causes and conditions, and we recognize the impermanence and impurity of our color bodies, in which there is neither self nor covetability.

After giving empowerment to Suyuan, Acharya taught him to bow to the Buddhas of the Ten Directions. Su Yuan once again expressed his vow to take refuge in the Three Jewels and seek enlightenment at the end of the world; Express self-interest and altruism as the goal of life.

Then the old master shaved Su Yuan's hair and gave him clothes. Bow to the Buddha again, and go around three turns.

Su Yuan was dressed in a robe, kneeling and clasping his palms. The old master gave him the Three Returns, the Five Precepts, and the Ten Precepts of Novice, and then he truly became a monk.

From then on, Su Yuan practiced strictly according to the daily rituals of the temple. These are the same as his previous practice in the temple, but now he is more serious and has a completely different mentality. He is now living a real life of asceticism.

Several years passed, and one day, Su Yuan saw Amitabha Buddha in Dingzhong. He had a premonition that the time had come for him to travel to the Western Elysium.

In the early morning of the next day, after a long period of unremitting practice, Su Yuan passed away in the monastery of Jinluo City.

Just like when Zhiguang left, there was no auspicious celestial phenomenon, just a sunny and sunny morning.

Su Yuan didn't leave any relics, he felt that he was not a person from that world. It's like he came silently and left silently.

The old Juntai in front of you is also called Shengsendai. It's like a garden, and it's like a tourist attraction.

The first thing that catches your eye is a tall stone gatehouse, which is majestic and magnificent; The road below is paved with bluestone slabs; The avenue is lined with neat cypress trees and many potted flowers.

Some "historical relics" are placed next to it. The rusty shells have gone through dozens of ups and downs in spring and autumn. What is it telling people? On the walls, and even on the trees, there were as many as thirteen of these shells that did not explode.

Su Yuan followed behind Daozhen, and the two walked up the stone steps to Laojuntai. There are three main halls on the platform, and one hall in the east and west. In front of the hall, there is a three-story stone platform, which depicts black and white yin and yang fish surrounding each other, as well as eight basic hexagrams, which is a huge gossip platform.

"This gossip platform was built recently!" Daozhen said.

"Now that it's a tourist attraction, you don't have any problem, right?" Su Yuan asked.

"There should be more natural landscapes...... "Daozhen replied in the wrong question.

Although science and technology can bring great convenience to human beings and enable them to enjoy a better life, the consequences of its damage to the entire earth, like the poison of the industrial revolution, are extremely serious. ”

However, just because the Chinese nation has such a sober understanding, it is useless to prohibit the development of science and technology. Westerners do not understand the Tao and blindly develop science and technology, which once caused us to be weak. ”

"Today, our technology is also at a very high level in the world. However, if we continue to develop according to the model dominated by the West, satisfy our desires through scientific and technological development, and then stimulate greater development through stronger desires, mankind will surely bring about its own destruction! Therefore, at today's critical time, the whole world needs to use Lao Tzu's thoughts to guide the future direction of science and technology! ”

"This is the real reason why people all over the world attach so much importance to the Tao Te Ching today!"

Su Yuan said thoughtfully: "That's right! People used to confuse morality with merit with being a good person. Artificially, confined morality to a very small area, isolated. And put the material, economic and other material interests in the first place. But I don't know that morality not only refers to the spiritual aspect, but also completely covers the material way! ”

Dao Zhen said: "In this way, this five turbid evil world can still be saved!" ”

Su Yuan said: "Wang Lao Shanren said: 'People are humane, and things have physics. Only by knowing people's nature can they save people; Only when you understand the properties of things can you use things. If you don't understand human nature, you can't enjoy human happiness; When you leave the way, you will not be able to enjoy the blessings of things...... Make the right use of things, there is a way; Teach people well, be virtuous'. This is the complete morality! ”

"The way of spirit and the way of matter are the complete way of nature!"
