Ji Mi also reached the age of marriage, and King Chu Zhao didn't want to marry her out compulsorily, so he asked her which monarch she wanted to marry. Ji Mi replied: "I heard that women are not allowed to approach men before they get married, but Zhong Jian has been carrying me on the way to escape. Who else can I marry? "King Chu Zhao married her to Zhong Jian - the marriage between the two is really a comedy in the catastrophe.

The Wu-Chu War lasted for a year and was one of the longest wars in the history of the Spring and Autumn Period. Although the Wu army captured Yingdu and caused a major disaster to the land of Gyeonggi of Chu, robbing a large number of people and wealth, it did not shake the foundation of the state of Chu.
