Chapter 1292 - Sources - Foreign Mythological Systems
Solomon's Seventy-Two Demon Kings
This article is basically a translation of the Japanese translation of the "Hell Dictionary" published by Kodansha in Japan in 1997, but because the Japanese translation has reduced a lot of illustrations, only the important demons have pictures. In addition, part of the commentary is translated from Giordiano Berti's "IMONDI ultraterreni". The images can also be found at theFantasticinArt &Fiction, which are classified as fantasy! ()
King Solomon is the embodiment of medieval dark magic legends, and unlike King Solomon in biblical history, King Solomon in the history of black magic is not a specific person, but represents a cult of the supernatural, and his name represents three kinds of liliang: SOL-OM-ON, "the sun (light), truth, and glory". Legend has it that King Solomon made a pact with the demon king Berial, who commanded all the demons of hell, and he used his magic ring to print on the neck of each demon and drive them to serve him. In return, he would dedicate his soul to Berial after his death. It is said that among these demons, in addition to the seven kings of hell, the most powerful are the seventy-two princes and nobles of hell, the great demons known as the seventy-two demon kings of Solomon, and these legends were written in the early 17th century in a magic book called "Solomon's Little Key" (Lemegeton), which is a relatively historical book and is divided into four parts. The first of these records the method of summoning Solomon's seventy-two demon kings from the invisible shijie, and the images and allusions of these demons are copied from the book of Enoch, an apocryphal scripture in the Bible. But the book's account of demons can be extended to allusions to ancient legends and non-Christian myths forbidden by the Church, as well as some knowledge of medicine and minerals. The second part records the methods of summoning monsters from all directions, the third part records the angelic legends of astrology and the zodiac, and the fourth part records the spells that summon angels and wax figures. At present, it is believed that only the first part of the book was written in the Middle Ages, and the last three books should not be original.
King Solomon made a pact with the demon Berial, illustrated in the book Das BuchBelial, published by Augsbourg in 1473.
By the 19th century, demonology had gradually become a part of the popular culture of Western European society. In order to satisfy people's curiosity, in 1818, the French journalist Collinde Plancy published the famous "Dictionnaireinfernal" (Dictionary of Hell). The book largely aroused the interest of the people of the time in demonic superstitions. The author, Collinde Plancy (1794~1881), was not a demonist and did not have a deep knowledge in the field, but he was quite erudite and influenced by the modern demonologist Johann Weyer (1515~1588), so it cannot be said that he was a complete layman. CollindePlancy's Dictionary of Hell, written with half-baked knowledge, inherits Weyer's theory. Numerous demonic images and supernatural phenomena that could not be explained at the time were recorded, and an administrative structure similar to that of the human world was described for hell, and the demons performed their own duties. There are even hilarious demon ambassadors to various countries, but there are also many famous cases that happened at the time, such as the story of the murderer "Bluebeard". It is precisely because the author has used his imagination to integrate the text, so although the book has no literature, it is quite interesting to read, and it can be called the Western Classic of Mountains and Seas. The book is also interspersed with some of the author's views on the society of the time, such as the fact that the ambassador sent by the Hell Empire to Britain turned out to be Mammon, the great demon representing "greed" - this is undoubtedly a satire of French society on British mercantilism.
According to Weyer's calculations, there are a total of 6,666 demon legions in the Hell Empire. Each legion is made up of 6,666 demons, and all legions are led by seventy-two demon kings.
Johann Weyer, a German-Dutch doctor by profession, is probably one of the most famous demon scholars of modern times. Although many people think of him as a charlatan who is good at drilling, he dares to criticize the church's witch hunting.
The Dictionary of Hell explains demons in accordance with Weyer's theory. And by the time the sixth edition was published in 1863. 550 copper engravings were added, illustrated by the painter M.L. Breton, who was ignorant of the theories of demons and warlocks, and the images of demons were created according to some folklore descriptions or his own imagination. These expressive and visually effective illustrations have had a profound impact on modern demon culture, and even many of the demon shapes in the gods and demons film come from these illustrations from the "Hell Dictionary".
However, the seventy-two demon kings are not invincible, and the seventy-two archangels of Judaism, recorded in another book on mysticism and magic, the Book of Radiance, are the nemesis of these demons, the guardians of the white magicians, but I have not collected all of them......

Japanese mythologyJapan does not have the concept of mythology, but it was introduced through the study of European mythology. Japanese mythology is mainly based on the study of the two books "Kojiki" and "Japanese Shoki", because "Kojiki" talks more about the part of the gods, and the Japanese secretary is already a historical era, so we only understand "Kojiki".
*The Gobesu Tenjin who created Shijie*
The ancient Japanese believed that the shijie of the gods was high, and they called the shijie where they lived "Reedwon China" and the heavenly court where the gods lived "Takamagahara".
When the heavens and the earth were first formed, the god who appeared in the high heaven was called "the main god of the heavenly kingdom".
The meaning of its name is to dominate the center of the heavenly court, and it also means that the sacred center of shijie is in the heavens.
The second god that appeared was the "High Imperial Nest Sun God", and later the "God Birth Nest Sun God" appeared, both of which were gods with various reproductive spiritual powers.
At this time, the earth is not yet ripe, like floating fat, and like a jellyfish drifting, and the god who appears like a sprout of reeds at the water's edge is called "Miriya Yahiko Zhijin", which means a male god who grows as handsome as a reed bud, representing the center of life when the earth and the sea have not yet separated.
Then there was the appearance of "Heaven and God". It means that the god of heaven has appeared on the earth.
At the same time, the earth flowing on the sea is supported by reed-like shoots that appear at the water's edge. A solidified land was formed.
The above five gods are collectively known as other gods, which refer to special gods in the heavenly court and represent the creation of shijie.
*Seven Generations of the Gods*
At the time of the creation of the heavens and the earth, the god who appeared at this time was called the god of the kingdom. It means the god of the earth at the time of the appearance of the land.
Secondly, the god of Fengyun and wild appears to indicate that the god appeared when heaven and earth, earth and sea were still indistinguishable.
Secondly, the god who appears is called the god of the earth. At the same time, but in a feminine manner, it is the god of the nest earth, and both are gods representing the earth.
Secondly, there is the god of horn erosion and the female god of Ikuno, which indicates that the rhizome of the plant has begun to sprout.
Secondly, there were the daiden gods representing men and the daitenbu gods representing women.
Secondly, there is the appearance of the god of the face and the appearance of the god of handsomeness, and then the appearance of the god of fear who is paired with this god, which is quite frightening.
The Zuihou pair are the god Iyanagi and his sister Iyanami. From the national god to the god Iyenami, it is called the seven generations of the gods.
The appearance of these gods represents:
First, the soil and water are combined into a thick mud form, forming the prototype of shijie.
Second: At this time, the shoots of a certain plant grow, and the white stem supports the earth, becoming the central pillar of shijie, and life begins to multiply.
Third: the birth of men and women. It is a god in human form and the beginning of man.
Fourth: Men propose to women, and when men praise women for being a beautiful woman, women also say to men that you are a handsome man.
Fifth: Marriage is due to the mutual affection of a man and a woman.
*The Tale of Iyanagi and Iyanami*
The two gods, Iyanagi and Iyanami, received orders from the gods to fix the earth floating on the sea.
The two of them stood on the heavenly pontoon bridge, and stirred into the sea with the swamp spear given by the gods, although the sea made a sound, when the spear was lifted, the salt water dripping from the tip of the spear condensed into an inverted one, which was called Nenglu Island.
The two gods descended from the Heavenly Court to the island, erected a Heavenly Pillar (a pillar representing the center of the Heavenly Court) on the island, and built the Eight Hunts Hall (large house).
Iyenagi asked Iyenami, "How did your body come to be?"
Iyenamimi: My body is cast layer by layer, but there is one place that is still not ready.
Iyenagi said: "My body is also cast layer by layer, but there is one place that is made higher, so I can put the higher part of my body into the depression and combine it into a perfect state to produce our land!"
Iyenami: Alright!
Then Iyenagi said, "Then let's meet at the place where the pillar is!" and get married there.
After the agreement, Iyenagi said, "Come around from the right, and I will meet from the left."
When they met at the agreed pillar, Iyenami said, "You are a handsome man.
Iyenagi went on to say, "You are a very beautiful woman.
When their conversation ended, Iyenagi said to his wife: It is not good for a woman to say this first. (Umlaut: Rampage!)
When they got married, they had a child who was a leech (a child without hands or feet), and they put him on a boat made of reeds and let him drift on the sea.
Soon after, they gave birth to Awashima again, but they did not raise him as their own child.
At this time, the two gods discussed: The children we have born are not very good, so we should go and consult the gods in the heavenly court.
The god of heaven is Aether, and then he said, "Because women speak first, it is not good for the children you are born...... (The voice change is completely rampant), you better go back to the same place and have another wedding!
The child they had after remarrying this time was Sabetsu Island, which is now Awaji Island (present-day Hyogo Prefecture).
The second son of Iyo, who gave birth to the second island, is now Shikoku, and this child has one body, but has four heads, namely Iyo Province (Ehime Prefecture), Sanuki Province (Kagawa Prefecture), Kuri Province (later called Awa Province, which is today's Tokushima Prefecture), and Tozo Province is later Tosa Province, that is, Kochi Prefecture).
This was followed by the island of Mikojima, which is hidden, and the present-day Oki Island (Shimane Prefecture).
The second was born Chikushi Island, which is today's Jiuchuan. The island has only one body, but it has four faces, each with a different name, the Tsukushi Province (later Chikuzen Province and Chikugo Province, which is now Fukuoka Prefecture). There were also Toyo Province (later Bunzen Province and Bungo Province, which are present-day Fukuoka Prefecture and Oita Prefecture), Hi Province (and later Hizen Province and Higo Province). present-day Saga, Nagasaki, and Kumamoto Prefectures), Kumaso Province (and later Hyuga Province including Osumi Province and Satsuma Province, present-day Miyazaki Prefecture, Kagoshima Prefecture).
This was followed by the birth of Iyami Island, which is today's Iki Island (Nagasaki Prefecture).
Tsushima was born next. Tsushima (Nagasaki Prefecture).
The second was the birth of Sado Island, which is now Sado (that is, Niigata Prefecture).
This was followed by the birth of Otoyo Akitsu Island, which is today's Honshu.
In this way, the eight islands were born.
Then he gave birth to gods who were closely related to life, such as stones, earth, sand, rivers and seas, water, fog, boats, food, and so on. Iyenami Zuihou was burned to death, and Iyena was angry and killed the god of fire.
Iyenagi loved his wife deeply, and in order to take his wife back, he came to the Yellow Springs Country, but he saw his wife's ugly side caused by the burns, and fled from the Yellow Springs Country in embarrassment (it was simply a pig and a dog), in order to get rid of the filth of the Yellow Springs Country. Iyenagi held a ritual in Awagihara, and the staff, belt, clothes, tiara, and left and right hand ornaments that he had thrown away were transformed into various gods, and when he washed his left eye, Amaterasu Daigojin appeared, when he washed his right eye, Tsukiyomi appeared, and when he washed his nose, Kensu Susanoo appeared. They were ordered to govern Takamagahara, the Night Eclipse Country, and the Sea Plain. Susanoo refused to obey, and the Father (Iyanagi) banished him.
*Amaterasu Daigojin and Susanoo's life*
Because Susanoo's life did not obey his father's order, he was going to be banished to Taga's Taga, so Susanoo's life was ready to go to Takamagahara to plead with Amenasu, and when he ascended to heaven, the heavens and the earth shook, and Amaterasu, who was a sister, thought that his younger brother was going to rob her of her place, so he waited solemnly, and his younger brother made a vow to confess his heart and his sister, but Susanoo's life took advantage of the situation to destroy farming after winning. The gods were puzzled by the fact that even Amaterasu was afraid and hid in the Iwaya of Ten, and the universe was darkened, and the gods were puzzled and thought of countermeasures to lure Amaterasu out of the Iwaya, and the heavens and the earth were bright again, and then drove Susanoo out of Takamagahara.
Susanoo's life descended to the bird's hair place in the upper reaches of the Hi River in Izumo Province, and saw an old couple crying around a girl, and asked the reason, only to know that the Yaki Orochi comes here every year to eat virgins, and now it is the time to come soon, and it is worrying about this, the big snake has eight heads and eight tails, and the body is long and cedar, cypress, and the body spans eight mountain tops. He let the eight heads of the snake go deep into the barrel to drink, get drunk and lie down, and then draw his sword to cut off the snake, and the fat river is full of red blood, when he cuts the snake's tail, the blade is notched, and when he cuts the snake's tail, he cuts it open and sees, the internal organs are a sword, so he reports to Amaterasu Damijin, and offers the sword, which is called the Grass Razor Sword.
Susanoo married a girl, Kushida Yuan, and his children and grandchildren were all gods of grain.
*The Lord God of the Great Power*
Before the main god of the great country was given the title of Susanoo's life, he was called the god of the Great Ru, and there were many brother gods.
The brothers and gods in order to take Yagami Yuan, during the journey, the Great Ru God healed the injured White Rabbit, the White Rabbit predicted that the Great Ru God would marry Yagami Yuan, and sure enough, Yagami Yuan only wanted to be the wife of the Great Ru God, so he angered the brothers, killed him twice, and was resurrected because of his mother's rescue, and fled to the root country of Susanoo's life.
The daughter of the great Ru God and the man of Susa, who wanted to marry each other, put forward all kinds of problems to test the god of the great Ru, and the god of the great Ru escaped, and the man of Susano's life chased him to the realm of the root country, and remotely sealed the god of the great ru as the lord of the country, and asked to take his daughter as his wife. The god of the Great Ru drove out the god of brothers, established a country, and married Yagami Yuan according to the covenant, but Yagami Yuan was afraid of the jealousy of his wife, and returned to his mother's home Inaba after giving birth to Mii God.
In order to rule Reedhara China, Amaterasu Daigomi successively sent Tenninho Ear Order, Tenbobi God Tenrua Day Come, all unsuccessfully, and later sent the Kengomi Thunder God and Tentori Boat God to the Inaza small seashore in Izumo Province, pulled out the ten-fist sword, and asked the cross-legged main god of the great country, and the main god of the great country passed the responsibility to the two sons, and the main god of the great country and the name of the building of the god of the party, and the god of the building of the thunder subjugated the two gods one by one, and the main god of the great country gave the country to the great god of Amaterasu.
*Descending of the Celestial Sun*
Amaterasu and Takagi ordered the imperial grandson to rule the Toyorehara Mizuho Province in order to legitimize the existing form of rule and create a myth of kingship. This is the transformation of the "Son of Heaven" into a divine bloodline, and the idea of the Son of Heaven being ordained into a structure in which the gods order their direct blood relatives to descend to the earthly rulers.
*Yukihiko Umi & Yukihiko Yama*
Brother Huo Zhao's life is Hai Yukihiko, and Brother Huo Yuan's life is Shan Yukihiko, who often fishes and hunts beasts.
One day, his younger brother proposed to swap props, but he didn't catch a single fish. also left the fishing rod at the bottom of the sea, and Huoyuan was ready to compensate with 500 or 1,000 fishing rods, but his brother refused. It is not necessary with the original fishing pin.
Huoyuan was crying sadly on the beach, and at this time the god of salt appeared, teaching him how to make a bamboo cage boat, and he could go to the god of the sea to see the god's shijie in Mianjin. Feng Yuji, the daughter of the sea god, likes Huo Yuan Rimei, and Huo Yuan Rimei marries her and spends three years at the sea god.
Someday. Thinking of the reason why he came to the Poseidon Kingdom, he couldn't help but sigh, this scene was seen by his wife Feng Yuji, so he told the Poseidon that the Poseidon immediately gathered a group of fish and asked who could get the fishing needle. So he took out the fishing rod from the sea bream, and handed it to Huoyuan to order Chao Yingzhu and Chao Ganzhu to take revenge on his brother.
On the other hand, Feng Yuji came to the beach to give birth to a pelican grass, but because of Huo Yuan's order, she didn't listen to Feng Yuji's advice to peek at the production situation. Feng Yuji then returned to the sea, and her sister Yu Yibi sold instead of her sister to raise Uzuki Kusao, and later married Uzuki Kusao, giving birth to Emperor Jimmu and other children. Emperor Jimmu was the first generation of kings and the first emperor in the history of Japan, and the Kojiki shifted from the generation of gods to the generation of people, and the protagonists of Monogatari also changed from immortal gods to beings with limited lifespans, and the stage changed from the mythical shijie of Takamagahara-Reedahara Chugoku-Huangquan Province to Yamato Province.
*Ancient Japanese Tradition of Female Sexual Worship*
There are various interpretations of the famous Aminwado myth.
Among them, there is the theory of sun worship, which expresses the importance of the sun's favor, the theory of the phenomenon of eclipses, which explains the phenomenon of solar eclipses, and the theory of the so-called worship of sexual organs.
The custom of worshipping the cave that resembles a female genital organ and the divergence of a wooden branch (Kiki) can be seen everywhere in the country, and the ten-no-Iwado where Amaterasu hides is a concrete manifestation of the female genitals, which can be said to symbolize the meaning of "womb".
As for the Tenyu Himemei, who exposed her female pussy and breasts before Iwado and went wildly to perform the ritual of purifying evil spirits, it is not an exaggeration to say that women danced naked since the opening of heaven and earth, and it is not an exaggeration to say that it is the ancestor of striptease.
In addition, it is also said that this dance of Tenyu Himemei is the origin of Kagura, and the descendants of Tenyu Himemei, the Ape Girl clan, have served in the palace for generations in order to suppress the spirit.
In the palace, the kagura that was thought to be served was called "Mikagara", and since the Heian period, it has been transformed into "Inner Attendant Mikara" as a fugue of divine affairs.
On the other hand, the folk kagura is called "Sato Kagura".
*What exactly is Yaki Orochi?*
The story of Kensu Susanoo's fight off the Yagi Orochi is a very popular story, both in the Kojiki and in the wider story.
Kensu Susanoo dominated Izumo, and then the Izumo State was established by the order of the great powers, thus unfolding the prelude to the Izumo myth.
There are also various interpretations of this story. For example, it is said that the Yagi Oroqen invaded the Izumo region by the Oroqen tribe of Siberia, that the Yagi Oroqen tribe raped and plundered the penises of foreign peoples, that the living people were sacrificed to quell the Pei River River, which flooded repeatedly every year (see the legend of Sayohime), and that primitive farmers finally succeeded in building irrigation waterways.
In addition, the word 'Yagi Orochi' means 'the flow of water with eight tributaries' in the Ainu language, and this tributary has repeatedly flooded.
In addition, in response to the development of the article 'Takashi's Yagi Yuan Lu Zhi', which states that the Yaki Orochi was the patriarch of the Hokuriku region, and the sections on 'Eyes Shine Chihui' and 'Those who see his belly are often bloody' evoke associations with the Tatara (ancient iron melting furnace) of ironmaking.
*The White Rabbit of the Misty Inba*
'Carrying a big bag'
This nursery rhyme is sung like this, and this is the original work of 'Inaba no White Rabbit', which is widely known even in fairy tales. There are a lot of doubts about this story. First of all, why does Kojiki record the story of the 'White Rabbit of Inaba' here?
Stories like these are spread in Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Khmer, the Malay Peninsula, Indonesia, and New Guinea. It is also said that this story may be related to the origin of the Japanese.
The White Rabbit is a tribe of the sea people of Oki Island. At that time, the inhabitants of Izumo were the Ainu tribe, a northern ethnic group who were aborigines.
In contrast to the Tensun clan (the clan that founded the Yamato regime) who invaded Izumo, it is understandable that if this story is intended to describe the relationship between the aborigines and the sea people, it is understandable that the story called 'Inaba no White Rabbit' appears in the Kojiki.
And another suspicion that has been discussed since ancient times. It's about what the 'crocodile' in the book refers to.
In Japan, there are no crocodiles, which are reptiles.
Therefore, in the general opinion, this "crocodile" should refer to "crocodile shark" or "sea snake".
Translations:
The white rabbit of the inflag: also the plain rabbit of the rice feather is the same. Full text of the nursery rhyme: Carrying a big bag, the big black god is coming! Skinless and hairless naked!
Crocodile shark: It is a widely used saying, and it is also said to be a sea snake when combined with the image of a large god.
Ainu: An ethnic group living in Hokkaido. Also written Ezo.
*The Significance of the Trial of the Great Cave Mu Chi God*
Why, did the Great Cave Mu Chi God have to go through such a cruel trial?
There are many explanations for the coming-of-age ceremony, the service marriage in which he went to the bride's house as a son-in-law to work for a certain period of time before marriage, and the trials he endured in order to become a great lord who could command Izumo Province.
For example, cockle shellfish and clam shell are thought of as a representation of female sexual organs.
Since ancient times. The custom of applying secretions from female genitals to wounds to heal external injuries is practiced in various places, and this custom is based on the 'resuscitation power' possessed by shrine maidens.
And when the Great Cave Mu Chishen was trapped by the fire, the mouse said: 'The inner is empty, and the outer is angry!' One sentence, still reminiscent of female sexual organs. Here there is a theory of escaping into the female body and being protected.
Again. As for the subsequent incident of the Eight Thousand Spear Gods scattering their love, it is not a simple and fragrant and sensational story, but can be imagined as a record of territorial invasion.
It is known from the fact that Takashi Province (Etsuno Kuni), where Numagawa Himemei is located, is located in Hokuriku on the coast of the Sea of Japan, and that the Muneka place where Tajiri Himemei is located is located in the area of Fukuoka Prefecture in Kyushu. The word "Numagawa" means "warm water river" in the Ainu language, and here we can think of it as the Himegawa River that flows through Itoigawa City.
From this point of view, the Shili area of Izumo Province should be from Izumo Town, Niigata Prefecture in the north to the area around Munaka-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture in the south.
Translations:
Kai: In the Japanese concept, the appearance of "shellfish" is often alluded to/associated with female genitals.
Escaping into the woman's body: In the vernacular, it means "the desire to be protected by returning to the mother's womb". Beginning with Kojiki, whether Amaterasu is represented as a woman or escaped into a cave, it shows that Japanese motherhood has returned to consciousness. To this day, the works of Japanese creators such as Yuki Tomino and Tetsuya Takahashi show a strong sense of motherhood.
Nuna-Kawa, Kawa means river/river, and Nuna is the Japanese word for "soup".
*The Two Faces of 'Wa Jianmei'*
An extremely popular character in mythology, Wa Jianmei appears.
The protagonist, who has both human strength and fragility, is full of love adventures and romantic stories, as well as tragic and poignant endings, which make the life of the Japanese a wide range of support.
And at the time of his death, 'the one who is the country of Yamato, the one who is the true show of the country...... The country of its Yamato, such a beautiful country!', sang the song of this hopeful country, and then died. 'Transform into eight swans, soar to the sky and fly to the shore.'
However, in the Kojiki and the Nihon Shoki, there is a completely different image. The U Jianmei recorded in the "Kojiki" is a hero who has both the strength of a human being and the weakness of a mortal.
In addition, in the Nihon Shoki, the kanji for 倭建命 is written as 'Nippon Takezun', and he is an extremely brave and strong military commander with a background of state power. Until the end of World War II, he was still regarded as a deified hero of Japan.
*The Empress of Divine Skill is for the Crossing Nation*
Empress Shengong's Sanhan Expedition, Toyotomi Hideyoshi's Korean Expedition, and the colonial policy of World War II often became the fuse of international disputes between Japan and South Korea.
Regardless of whether it was before or during the war, Empress Shengong and Takeuchi Suyu were able to be ranked alongside Kensu Susanoo and Utsumei (Japanese Takezun), and they were heroes known to everyone in Japan.
Japan in the fourth century can be called the 'century of mysteries'. There is hardly any information on the Japanese side. Judging from the Korean source "Baekje Ji" and the inscription of King Haotae of Goguryeo, the Japanese invasion of the Korean Peninsula should be a fact.
Although the Empress of Shengong is a figure full of mysteries, she is regarded as an important person in the "Chronicles".
The name of the Empress of Shengong is 'Xi Chang Belt Ji'. The 'Obi' lineage was a lineage of a clan called the Shicho clan in the Omi Dynasty, and it is not difficult to imagine that Omi was prevalent in iron making. Relying on Lake Biwa's water transportation and the iron weapons of the Omi Dynasty allowed the Shili to expand its naval army. Then. It is not surprising that this shili could have crossed the Sea of Japan and then invaded Korea.
In addition, as mentioned in the chapter on the Celestial Sun Spear, the lineage of the Empress of Shengong can be traced back to the Celestial Rimao, that is, the Torai people from the Silla lineage.
*The true face of the ancient zuihou heroes*
Emperor Yuryu was an ancient hero who revealed a strong personality in the struggle for the succession to the throne.
Until the enthronement. Emperor Yuroku (also known as King Ohase) repeatedly killed and eliminated the rest of the throne.
Even Tofu, who killed the Katsuragi clan, has a conscience of Fumi, in addition to weakening the Katsuragi clan who held power at the time, we can also feel his cold-bloodedness.
However, after Emperor Yuroku ascended the throne, he gradually revealed his gentle heart and rich emotional side.
An anecdote with the red pig of Hitabe.。 The story of the girl of the Yoshino River and the dragonfly, the story of the mountain boar of Mt. Katagi, the encounter with the main god of Ichigen, the "Heavenly Language Song" of the Mie Female Officer, the "Uki Song" and the "Shito Song" of Kasuga Yuan Sukihime, etc., all tell the story of Emperor Yuroe's unexpected delicate side.
In short, the power struggle between the blood clans of the Heavenly Emperor did not end, and no one remembered the lesson, and the dispute between the imperial families over the succession to the throne continued for thousands and hundreds of years.
From the birth of the gods to the construction of the country, from the shijie of the gods to the shijie of mankind, the dreams and romances, love and adventures, and the stories of beauty and heroes narrated in the "Kojiki" have faded into the mythical shijie of 2,000 years ago.
[edit this paragraph] features of Japanese mythology
Japanese mythology has the ability to be ordered by Emperor Tenmu (the preface to the Kojiki mentions: "I have heard that the imperial records and the original words in the collection of the various families are not only contrary to the truth, but also hypocritical. At this time, if it does not change its mistakes, it will not be destroyed in a few years. Therefore, he only wrote the emperor's chronicles, discussed the old words, cut the falsehood, and determined the truth, and wanted to flow the later leaves. It is a classic book that organizes folklore with the attitude of compiling historical books, so it is different from fragmentary Chinese mythology. The editors link the individual segments, so there is more coherence. According to the first volume of the Kojiki, the opening of the world was followed by the birth of the gods. First of all, there are three gods incarnated in Takamagahara (Heaven), namely the "main god of the Heavenly Palace", followed by the "High Imperial Nest Sun God" and "God Birth Nest Sun God". Then in the hollow, there were the birth of the "Umashi Askhobi Guchi God" (or: Mei Wei Yahiko Zhijin) and the "Heavenly Constant God", these five gods are called "other gods", all of them are "one god" (unmarried) and are "invisible gods" (regardless of the world, the formation of the god body is secluded). "The main god of the heavens" is located in the center of the heavens and dominates all things. The appearance of numbers such as "three" and "five" in Beitianshen has the shadow of China's "Three Emperors and Five Emperors", and "three", "five" and "seven" have always been regarded as sacred numbers in China. However, although these creation gods of Takamagahara were extremely noble, with the exception of Iyenagi and Iyenami, the other gods rarely appeared in later stories.
The first gods in Japanese mythology represented nature, and they were abstract, genderless gods, and the second generation of gods also represented nature, but they were figurative, such as migmire, and most of them had gender. The description of the creation of shijie in Japanese mythology is unique, in the mythology of other countries, shijie is usually created by a male god, while in Japanese mythology, shijie was created by the male god Iyanagi and the female god Iyanami (岐, mei is a good name for men and women).
Most of the myths and legends that embody Japanese characteristics have a strong local color. The protagonist is either a raccoon dog often seen in the countryside or a mermaid in the Sea of Japan. The most representative is Momotaro with a dry of poultry and animals.
