"Whether it is Confucianism or Legalism, they all represent rulers, is there a doctrine that represents ordinary people? I think there is, it is the Mohists, so there will be a dispute between Confucianism and Mohism, how can the nobles and ordinary people get along on an equal footing? The Mohists are more like a craftsman, there is a sect in the Central Plains, called the Taiping Sect, which is good at the art of organs, and what is the most important thing about the organs? It is precision, it is mutual cooperation, I have been to the Central Plains when I was young, and I have seen the watermills of the Central Plains. Windmills, in fact, these are some simple mechanisms, what is the key to using these mechanisms?
It is practical, and practicality must be preceded by good looks. The meaning of the institution itself is to change its own situation, if the weather is dry, some people will ask the dragon king for rain, but the Mo family is to build a canal to change the predicament of drought. Therefore, the Mohists advocate the simplicity of 'etiquette', and do not believe in the mandate of heaven and ghosts. ”
"The soldier is simpler, that is, from the perspective of the general to look at the world, so the soldier is often mixed with Confucianism, because the general is mostly aristocrats, of course, there are differences, the soldier does not pay attention to 'benevolence', it pays attention to how to mobilize troops, how to attack the city and plunder the land, the soldier is indispensable, but it can never dominate the world. ”

"Finally, there is Taoism, why I like Taoism the most, because Taoism is beyond the scope of human beings. Whether it is an emperor, a nobleman, a general, a craftsman, or a lobbyist, they are all in the realm of people, but Taoism can jump out, which is commendable. Confucianism has sages and sub-sages, Taoism has Taishang and Nanhua, Taishang is from the perspective of the way of heaven to see the world, so the lack of humanity can be seen clearly, Taishang said: 'The way of heaven is more than enough to make up for the deficiency, and the way of man is not enough to give more than enough.' What is the way of heaven? The way of heaven is the law of the change of the sun and the moon, the passage of spring to autumn. What does this mean? The way of heaven is average, using the excess to make up for the deficiency, while humanity is to use the insufficient to feed the superfluous, that is, to use the common people to support the nobles, and the people are already poor, but they still have to support the rich nobles, this is humanity. Therefore, humanity cannot last long, and the way of heaven can be eternal. This is also the reason why no matter how Confucianism tinkers, there will always be chaos in the world, and now the chaos in the Central Plains is not a correction of humanity by heaven. Nanhua tells a story in the "Nanhua Sutra", which roughly means: "There is a country in the left corner of the snail, whose name is Touch, and there is a country in the right corner of the snail, whose name is Manshi, who are fighting each other for land, and the number of corpses that have fallen is too many to count, and it took fifteen days for the defeated side to withdraw its troops and return." "If the Immortal Heaven looks at the strife in the world, what is the difference between the Great Wei and the Touch Clan, and what is the difference between the Golden Horde and the Barbarian Clan?"
Li Xuandu once listened to Sikong Da Sacrificial Wine in the Vientiane School Palace to talk about the rise and fall of the country from a Confucian point of view, and now he listened to the Golden Horde National Master from a Taoist point of view, which was completely different, and he was greatly benefited, and said sincerely: "The national teacher is a scholar of heaven and man, and the younger generation is taught."
