Chapter 1141: Jizo Holy Name
Without seeking liberation from meditation, suffering from all kinds of calamities, poverty, distress and persecution, diligently making offerings to Jizo Bodhisattvas, repenting of karma, making regular vows, and diligently reciting the holy names of Jizo, so that the heart is sincere, and quickly free from decay and happiness, and fulfill one's wishes.
It can be recited at all times, everywhere.
As the sutra quoted above says, you can recite the holy name of Jizo Bodhisattva at any time and in any place, such as a vegetable market, a restaurant, a subway, etc.
This is different from the rituals of the Dharma Protector God, or some of the Heavenly Laws' requirements for the purity of the site, and the celestial beings like to be clean.
But the Bodhisattva's sorrowful wishes are everywhere, even the most painful and darkest hells, and he vows to go to them, not to mention all kinds of filthy places on earth.
Based on the above points, you will find that the Jizo Dharma is very easy to correspond to, and it can be said that the threshold is quite low, even if you are not a professional practitioner and do not have a deep understanding of the stages and rationalities of the teachings, you can quickly respond to it by reciting the Jizo Sutra and the Jizo Holy Name devoutly.
In reality, there are many true stories of people who have recited the Jizo Sutra for several years and turned from poverty to prosperity, and examples abound.
They also don't have any advanced secrets, that is, they make offerings to Jizo Bodhisattvas, recite Jizo Sutras every day, and after a few years, they suddenly look back, they have a house, they have savings, and they have a family.
Some have gone from small employees to companies, some have gone from poverty to net worth of 1 billion, and some have gone from having nothing to now having multiple properties. Isn't all this the kindness of Jizo Bodhisattva?
On the contrary, there is a peculiar phenomenon that some people have been chanting all kinds of mantras for many years, and they have changed all kinds of mantras, but they have achieved nothing, and they lack food and clothing.
The reasons are very complex, and the fundamental reason for them is also related to the desire power of the Buddha-figure of the mantra and the protector deity and the corresponding conditions, that is, the corresponding requirements and precepts are relatively high, and the requirements are pure and pure, and even bodhichitta is not attained, so naturally you can't correspond.
If there are spells, you can't touch the five xins, and some of them are that the venue should be clean when cultivating the law, and the heart should be pure, etc., all of which have brushed a large number of people.
And the Jizo Dharma, even if the mind is messed up and dirty, and it is not recited for liberation, and it is recited at any time and place, you can get the good retribution of the world.
But if you want to reap the profound benefits, reciting with a single mind, reciting with bodhichitta and reciting with purity is a must, and this is the route you will have to take in the future. As long as you study Buddhism, one day in the future, you will have to follow the path of meditation and bodhicitta to liberate and become a Buddha.
If you want to reap the profound merits and benefits of Jizo Bodhisattva, you have to do one thing – develop unrelenting faith in Jizo Bodhisattva, and this strong faith is also a concrete manifestation of your potential for great good fortune.
There is a passage in the Jizo Sutra:
If in the next life, there are many people, etc., who do not have enough food and clothing, or who are obedient, or who are sick, or who are sick, or who are devastated or who are devastation, or who are restless, or who are scattered, or who are troubled, and who are troubled, and who are afraid of all kinds of things, and who are afraid of their lives. If it is a person, hearing the name of the place, seeing the shape of the place, the heart is respectful, and it is recited ten thousand times. It is all unsatisfactory things, which gradually disappear, that is, they are happy, rich in food and clothing, and even in their sleep, they are all happy.
This passage is saying that if you are poor, indebted, underfed, degraded, sick, restless, have a child, have calamities and nightmares, recite the holy name of Jizo ten thousand times, and these calamities will be eliminated, and you will be rich and prosperous, and you will be at ease.
First of all, you have to be convinced that this scripture is said by Shakyamuni Buddha, the Great Enlightenment World-Honored Buddha, that the Master of the Three Realms does not lie, that he is a truth-teller, not a stranger.
Although Mount Meru collapsed, the Himalayas shattered into dust, the stars fell, and the sea dried up, the Buddha's Vajra language remained towering and untouchable.
Since the Buddha is the one who speaks the truth, what he says is true, and if you do it truthfully, you will be able to transform your karma.
The point is that this ten thousand times is a convenient way to say that everyone's karmic karma, sincerity, and so on are different, and they can't be generalized.
But no matter how bad your root is, no matter how deep your karma is, deeper than the sea, if you keep repeating this 10,000 times, 10,000 times a day, and continue to cultivate, you will definitely see hope one day, and you will feel the Tao to decide to come forward. Because the Buddha's holy words will not be wrong, the echo of the empty valley, the continuous recitation, there will be an echo.
In a previous case, there was a girl who was played with her feelings and was extremely sad, so she frantically recited dozens of Medicine Sutras every day, and even felt the comfort of Medicine Buddha in a dream: there is no eternal love in the world, everyone has to learn to face impermanence.
Later, she cultivated the Fa to seek marriage, and finally met a good match.
If one hears the name of the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, and believes what he says, he should know that one can quickly get rid of all obstacles and attain the supreme path.
Combined with the teachings of the Jizo Bodhisattva in this sutra: But those who suffer from all kinds of misfortunes, poverty, distress, and persecution should also bow respectfully and make offerings, repent of their evil deeds, and make a vow to recite My name diligently at all times and in all places, so that they will be sincere, and they should be quickly free from all kinds of afflictions.
We can study according to this order: making offerings (respectfully), repenting of the negative karma we have committed, making good wishes constantly, and reciting the holy name diligently (sincerity), so that we can quickly get rid of decay, bad luck, poverty, and hardship.
Worship offerings.
Nature requires you to make offerings to Jizo Bodhisattva first, every day. If it is inconvenient for you to make offerings, you can go to the monastery regularly to make offerings to Jizo Bodhisattvas, or to visualize offerings temporarily.
The key is to be respectful. Some people have studied Buddhism for a long time and have too much rational thinking, but they don't know what piety and reverence are.
There is a technique to visualize how you will face the person you most respectfully admire when he comes to him, and what kind of respect will you have for him? Now with such a heart to worship and make offerings to Jizo Bodhisattva.
Prayer can eliminate sins, eliminate karma, and increase blessings. Offering is the accumulation of merit and wealth. The more you give, the greater your merit will be, and the easier it will be for your wishes to come true.
Repentance of sinful karma.
Confession is both accessible and targeted, and it is recommended that both be implemented. Those who follow the path are repentance of all kinds of bad karma in the past, the five rebellions and ten evils in previous lives, and so on.
The target is this life, starting from when I was a child, reflecting on the wrong things I have done, one by one in front of the statue of Buddha and Bodhisattva, taking it out to repent, and vowing not to make it again in the future.
Doing so will allow you to get the support of the Eight Divisions of the Heavenly Dragon, which you can't know in your past life, but you can know in this life. Repentance with one thought, extinguishing immeasurable sins, and constantly reflecting on and repenting of past sins in this life, will make your heart more and more relaxed and calm.
Always make a vow.
There are also pathways and other vows. The path is such as the great day, the five great wishes, the development of bodhicitta and so on. Don't wish is your personal special wish. Vows can also be divided into cause and effect. Because the wish is to make a vow to make as many merits as you want, and to recite as many mantras as you wish.
Fulfillment is what kind of goal to achieve and what wish to fulfill.
