After being silent for a while, a sigh came from the stone room, only to hear Wule Huishi say again: "This is also to solve my fateful grievances with her, in the past, I always chose to escape, thinking that as long as I don't get entangled with her, I can avoid fate, but now I know that the more you avoid some things, the more you can't avoid them." But to solve the karmic grievances that have accumulated over many lifetimes, I can't do it at present, and I have to find a way to find it only from the Dharma. ”
Duanmu Zheng sighed: "Actually, escaping is not a solution, but you didn't escape completely enough, but you escaped physically, but you didn't escape her mentally, but kept thinking about her, so you couldn't solve each other's grievances for a long time, but they accumulated deeper and deeper." There is a popular story in Buddhism, which tells the story of an old monk and a little monk crossing the river, meeting a woman on the way, and finally the old monk carrying the woman across the river, you are the little monk in the story, not saying it on the surface, but in my heart I have been thinking about it. ”
This story is very widely spread among the people, telling that one day the old monk took the little monk to travel to the party, encountered a river on the way, saw a beautiful woman was thinking about crossing the river, but did not dare to cross, so the old monk took the initiative to carry the woman across the river, and then put down the woman, and the little monk continued to hurry.
The little monk couldn't help muttering all the way: "What's wrong with Master?
I walked all the way, thought all the way, and finally couldn't help it, and asked, "Master, you broke the vows, why did you carry a woman?"
The old monk sighed: "I have already put people down after crossing the river, but you still can't let go." ”
Although this story is simple, the moral is profound, many people think they understand, but in fact they don't understand it at all, some people may understand, but if they want to let go of the "beautiful woman", they will definitely not be able to let go.
Duanmu Zheng persuaded: "Attachment is suffering, you are first obsessed with avoidance, and now you are obsessed with elimination, but no matter which one is attachment, 'do you not prove Bodhi, never go out', do you want to prove Bodhi?
"Aren't I trying to let go right now?" asked the Wisdom Master.
"Letting go is a natural thing, you don't need to work hard, when you want to let go, you have actually let go, and hard work means that you are persistent, it means that you don't want to let go at all. ”
"The word 'let go' is easy to say, but how difficult it is to do, many monks know that they can realize when they let go, but they never let go until they die. Because they want to let go so much that 'letting go' has become a demon. What is true and what is false, who can tell?
The Diamond Sutra says, 'All the Dharma is like a dream bubble, like dew and electricity, and should be viewed as such', if all the Dharma is empty, everything is a dream bubble, why do I ask the Buddha to worship the Buddha and study the Dharma hard?
It is said that if you let go of attachment, you will attain enlightenment, but what if you let go of attachment and then you will not be enlightened? Are all those who have no attachment, no desires, no desires, and few desires all become enlightened Buddhas? As far as I can see, the mediocre and incompetent people are the majority. ”
Duanmu Zheng sighed: "Buddhism is not my strength, but some of the truths are the same, I have also read the "Diamond Sutra", which says, 'The Buddha told Subodhi, all Bodhisattvas, great Bodhisattvas, you should eliminate the interference of evil thoughts like this. Everything that is alive, such as oviparous, viviparous, rotting out of damp places, other things that are transfigured, tangible, intangible, thoughtless, thoughtless, undistracted, undistracted, We cause them to perish and enter the state of nirvana. Although I have destroyed immeasurable, innumerable, boundless beings, in essence I have not destroyed them.
The Bodhisattva asked, "What is the reason?"
The Buddha replied that if a bodhisattva still has the appearance of self, others, sentient beings, and immortals in his mind, then he is not a true bodhisattva. ”
Master Wule Hui sneered: "There is another paragraph after the scripture you said, why don't you say it below?"
The Buddha asked Subodhi, can he see the Buddha in the form of a Buddha?
The Bodhisattva replied no.
The Buddha asked the reason, and the Bodhisattva replied, because the body that the Buddha spoke of is also the non-body.
The Buddha said that all forms and appearances are illusory and unreal, and if you can see all kinds of forms as non-bodies, you will be able to see the Dharmakaya of Nyorai.
If I can break through the self-form, the other-like form, the sentient being's form, and the immortal form, and I have already attained Bodhi, why do I need to retreat and practice? What I'm doing is exactly what you said, so why are you still pushing me?"
Duanmu was about to refute, but he remembered that the purpose of his trip was not to quarrel with Master Wule Hui, even if he won the debate, it would be meaningless, so he changed his words and said: "I almost had a resentful thought, and I had a quarrel, if I want to debate the Buddhist scriptures, I am not as good as you, and there is no point in arguing about these, I just think that you should not hesitate."
If you choose to escape, you can go to other worlds, hide your whereabouts, and not reappear in Yuzhou, after all, the heavens and all worlds are boundless, if you really want to avoid a person, the other party will never find you.
If you choose to eliminate, you can face her directly, and be honest with her without reservation, even if you find out that each other's paths are in the opposite direction, and there is no room for compromise.
But now you, retreat and retreat is not clean, enter and enter not completely, one foot across the threshold, into the house, but one foot is still dragging outside the house, hesitating, this situation is the most dangerous, you must know that when the interruption continues, but suffer from the chaos, you must make up your mind!"
Master Wule Huishi retorted: "I swore that 'I will never prove Bodhi and never go out of the test', didn't I make up my mind? What's more, aren't you also persistent? If it weren't for your persistence in persuading me, you should have let me go a long time ago, why did you come to me today? I said that the events of that day were just an accident, you were involved in the grievances of my two sisters, and neither of them had to care about each other, and I had indeed let go of this matter. ”
Duanmu Zhengdao: "I am different from you on the same path, can not be generalized, Buddhism said that the four are empty, said that attachment is suffering, said to let go of troubles, but Confucianism said to keep the Dan heart according to the sweat and green, said to become benevolent and righteous, for me, attachment is not suffering, but enjoyment." ”
“...... In this way, maybe the Dharma of Buddhism is not suitable for me, I can't let go, it's better not to let go, attachment is suffering, you might as well be happy in suffering. ”

He hurriedly persuaded: "Things haven't come to this point yet, don't make a rash decision, give me more time, I will find a way to help you solve the problem, don't push yourself into a corner." ”
He thought of Mu Lianhua, since it is difficult to solve the problem on the side of Wule Huishi, you might as well start from Mu Lianhua's side, as long as one of the two people lets go, the grievances will naturally dissolve.
