The general meaning is eight hexagrams, that is, Zhou Yi's gossip, transliterated Bagua, Diagram is a graphic, hexagram is a graphic, and the gossip of this meaning is innate and acquired.

Bagua: dry qián, kun kūn, zhen zhèn, 巽xùn, kan kǎn, lilí, 艮gèn, duì. Also known as the Sutra Hexagram, Single Hexagram, Three Hexagrams, and Xiaocheng Hexagrams, it is arranged by the Yang Hexagram "—" and the Yin Hexagram "——", which is a mark arranged by the three Hexagrams from bottom to top. 3. Liu Linying's astronomical hexagram evolved into the gossip theory: his "New Solution to the Mystery of the Origin of Yi Xue" expounds the theory of the hexagram system, believing that the hexagram originated from the prediction activities of astronomers' measuring tools, and the initial hexagram is the hexagram system, without the hexagram and the departure hexagram, and later evolved the gossip system, and its important evidence is that the hexagram system (such as the three yin and three yang) is the backbone theory of traditional Chinese medicine, not the gossip can be explained, and the moon hexagram in the hexagram system has remnants in the "Guizang" and "I Ching".

The type of gossip refers to the type of gossip with the original meaning, and the gossip of this meaning has the type of congenital and acquired, the innate gossip is CongenitalBagua, there is no Congenitalgossip (congenital nonsense, scandal), and the acquired gossip is AcquiredBagua, and there is nothing Acquiredgossip.

There are different types of gossip, since the Shao Yong theory in the Song Dynasty was spread by Zhu Xi, the innate gossip and the acquired gossip are known to the public, and there are few Zhongtian gossip put forward by contemporary people who know the Tao.

Shao Yong called the innate gossip Fuxi gossip, and this arrangement was recorded in the "Huangji Jingshi", and soon after his death, there were innate gossip diagrams circulating. The innate Bagua diagram is usually paired with the Taiji diagram, which is the mixed element and chaos of yin and yang, so some people call the "Taiji-style innate Bagua" the mixed element Bagua.

The main basis of the innate gossip is in the "Zhou Yi Hexagram Biography": "Heaven and earth are positioned, the mountains are ventilated, the thunder and wind are thin, and the water and fire do not shoot each other." The gossip is wrong, the number of the past is smooth, and the one who knows the future is reversed, so it is easy to reverse the number."

In accordance with the principle that the yang turns from the left and the yin turns from the right, the heaven is respected and the earth is humble, the heaven is on the top, and in the south, the four hexagrams composed of the yang are on the left, and they are arranged counterclockwise from the dry to the exchange, the exchange to the separation, and the separation to the earthquake;

Kun dwells below, and the four hexagrams of Xun, Kan, Gen, and Kun produced in the northern Yin Yao are arranged in a clockwise direction from the right, from Qian to Xun, Xun to Kan, Kan to Gen, and Gen to Kun, thus producing the innate Bagua diagram.

Please note that the yin and yang referred to here are determined according to the yin and yang of the lowest hexagram of the eight trigrams, and the lower lines of the four hexagrams of Qian, Dui, Li, and Zhen are all yang (-), and the four hexagrams of Xun, Kan, Gen, and Kun are all yin (——). This is the method of the triad Feng Shui (also known as the Auxiliary Star Water Method) to determine the yin and yang of the eight trigrams, and then further determine the yin and yang of the heavenly and earthly branches.
