Chapter 1128 Tan Mi Li

If you don't practice the Dharma without developing bodhichitta, even if you don't dedicate yourself, those merits will be turned into heavenly blessings.

Of course, you can't look down on the blessings of the people just because you have studied Buddhism, you can make good use of the blessings of the people, you can do great things that benefit the land and the world, and you can use your merit to support the Dharma and make the Dharma prosperous.

In the circle of cultivation, there are often two kinds of concepts, one is to live in peace and happiness, thinking that enough food and clothing are enough, and the rest can be diligently worked to achieve liberation.

The other is to cultivate the business law in order to achieve a state of abundance and freedom. In fact, that is also the wish of the great Bodhisattva, you look at the Huayan Sutra, the good wealth boy to visit those great good knowledge, are all showing the owner of wearing gold and jade, living in the Seven Treasures Glazed Palace, in order to benefit sentient beings.

Depending on the motivation, there are worlds of differences in the release of the Fa.

If you only pursue self-liberation and don't care about others, then you can live a whole life by living in a simple hut, and anyway, the happiness and happiness of all living beings have nothing to do with you.

And if you want to benefit sentient beings and revitalize the Dharma, the blessings of man and heaven are indispensable.

Shamba Kagyu's Chompo Langjue, with the help of the white-armed Mahagala, dug up gold mines when he was in extreme poverty, built 108 monasteries, and gathered 100,000 disciples, making the teachings flourish for a while.

When Tsongkhapa's disciples wanted to build a monastery, they could not carry out the project due to lack of funds. The master offered food to the king of treasure and prayed for the king's protection. The next day, offerings gathered, and the temple was successfully built.

When it comes to seeking wealth and the God of Wealth method, there will be many issues involved, such as a person who only cultivates the God of Wealth Law, or the Medicine Master Law or the Dizang Law, and he has no skills and no network resources, will he become a rich man?

The answer to this question can be answered on two levels.

The first is that in this era of karmic origin, you want to obtain a huge amount of wealth, and you have certain network resources, education, skills, etc., which is undoubtedly a great help for your career success.

Some people have a lot of resources, and as soon as they start a business, they respond to every call, and they are naturally easy to succeed. However, although some have the ability, if they are not helped, they will repeatedly hit the wall.

Of course, it can also be said that a person's knowledge reserves, skills, academic qualifications, diplomas, etc., are also the embodiment of his own good fortune, and his good fortune foundation is better than that of ordinary people, and it is naturally easier to achieve his wishes through the cultivation of the Fa.

The second is that if we explain it from a broader perspective, when a person's merits in cultivating the Fa are gained and have a great deal of merit, even if his foundation is poor, and he no longer has the skills and network resources, he may be able to get rid of poverty and become rich.

The origin of this layer is somewhat beyond the origin of the current era, which is an incredible, even mysterious way to get rich.

"The Book of Wisdom and Foolishness: Tan Mi Lipin" has a wonderful story.

If I heard it, the Buddha lived in the bamboo garden of the royal house. At that time, there was an elder in the kingdom of Kusaro, whose name was Tama Zang, who was rich and wealthy, but had no sons.

He sacrificed to all the gods of the kingdom and prayed that he would have a son. His sincerity touched the gods, and the lady soon became pregnant. At the end of the pregnancy period, she gave birth to a boy with good looks, which is rare in the world.

The elders invited many physiognomy masters to take advantage of the good fortune for their son, and the physiognomy masters observed this son and knew that he was very blessed, so they named him Tan Mili.

When the child grew up, after his father died, King Bosnian gave him his succession to his father's title.

After receiving the title from the king, his father's house became the Seven Treasures, and all the storehouses were full, and all kinds of services were available.

This is undoubtedly a miracle, after Tan Mili was given the title by the king of Bosnia, the family house suddenly appeared with seven treasures, the warehouse was overflowing, and the utensils were complete.

All this was not arranged by God, but his own meritorious calling, and this rich miracle was suddenly manifested.

At this time, the prince of Ruli was suffering from a great fever and was extremely tired and haggard, and the doctors prescribed medicine that he had to apply ox head sandalwood to his body to be cured. Immediately the king issued a decree in the kingdom, announcing in the kingdom that whoever had a bull's head and a sandalwood should be paid a thousand taels of gold for every tael to the king's palace, and the decree was spread throughout the whole country, and no one brought it.

Someone said to the king, "There are many sandalwoods in the house of the elders of the kingdom of Kusara. When the king heard about it, he went to ask for it in himself in a luxurious carriage. When he came to the door of Tanmi's house, the gatekeeper went in and told Tanmili, saying, "King Bosnian has come to the door."

Tan Mili was very happy, and immediately came out to greet him, and invited the king to his house.

The king followed Tanmili and saw that the outer gate was all silver, and inside the door was a woman with a beautiful face, unparalleled in the world, sitting on a silver throne, weaving with silver filigree, and ten girls standing on either side.

The king asked, "Is it the honored lady?"

She replied that she was no, but only a maidservant who guarded the door. Then the king asked, "What do the girls do?"

Tan Mili replied: It is to report the news.

Then enter the middle door, all made of sky blue glass, and there is a woman in the door, and her appearance is more dignified than before. There were twice as many attendants on either side as there were at the front door.

When he entered the inner door, it was all made of gold, and the woman inside the door was more upright than the former, sitting on a golden throne, weaving gold threads, and the attendants on both sides were twice as many as before.

Then the king asked Tanmili, "This woman is your wife?" and replied, "No."

When I came to the main room, I saw that the glazed floor was as clear as water, and the room was carved with the shapes of various beasts and water insects, and the breeze blew, and shadows appeared on the ground, and the brilliance shone as if shaking.

When the king saw it, he was suspicious and fearful, thinking that it was real water, so he asked Tan Mili: Do you have no other place but to build a pool in front of the hall?

Tan Mili replied: This is not water, but blue glass.

As soon as he spoke, he took off the ring of the Seven Treasures on his finger and threw it on the glazed floor, and slid straight to the side, touching the wall before stopping, and the king was very pleased to see it, and entered the hall where the Seven Treasures had been built.

Madame Tan Mili was in the lobby, and the seat she sat in was made of blue glass, and there were more elaborate seats for the king to sit in.

Tears immediately flowed from Madame Tanmili's eyes, and the king asked her, "Why are you crying, are you not happy to see me?" Madame replied: "It is very good that the king can come, but the slight smell of fireworks on your clothes makes me choke on tears, not that I am not happy to see you." ”

The king asked, "Do you not have a fire in your house?" and answered, "No fire is made." The king asked, "What do you use to cook rice?" and he replied, "When you want to eat it, the food of all kinds of flavors will naturally appear in front of you." ”

Then the king asked, "What kind of light is used in the darkness of the night?" and he replied, "With mani beads." So he closed the door and the window, and took out the orb, which shone brighter than day.

At this time, Tan Mili knelt down and asked the king, "Why did King Lao deign to come here?" and the king told him, "My prince Ruri is very sick and needs to be healed by Niu Tou Zhan Tan, so he has come to ask for it." ”
