However, if you want to achieve the protection of the Dharma Protector of the Good Gods, many people are not qualified, and they are of a very high rank, and it is impossible for them to come and guard the three karmas often and often do not calm down. It may be possible for a high monk to be virtuous.
I used to see a Northeast mage, Su Shi killed the fox, causing the fox to collect debts, and finally the mage recited the Great Compassion Mantra, and the fox couldn't hurt him, but as soon as he didn't recite it when he slept, or something was not as good as the law, he was killed by the fox. It can be seen that it is not easy to let the protector of the Great Compassion Mantra be guarded like a shadow, and he uses the magic power of the Great Compassion Mantra to restrain the fox's attack. Like other possessed beings, the same is true for those who cannot be solved by reciting the Great Compassion Mantra. With so many karma and mistakes, it is impossible for the bodhisattva to send the great protectors to protect them. The protector of the Ming King in the Great Compassion Mantra, such as the King of Wuhu Shamo, if he comes, don't say anything about the ghosts and monsters in the world, even the heavenly demons will flee in fear. It is mentioned in the law of the king of the Ming Dynasty that those who encounter evil ghosts and gods as obstacles will be protected by white mustard seeds, and the ghosts and gods will be exterminated. It's very powerful. It is very difficult for ordinary people to do these great protectors to support them. However, if you can recite it sincerely and respectfully, your natural blessings will increase immeasurably, and your wishes will be fulfilled.
The scriptures mention five kinds of motivation, which are corresponding, namely, filial piety for parents, merit and good roots, abundance of land, all sentient beings, and supreme bodhi. Therefore, when practicing this Dharma, one can make a wish to the Heavenly King in this way, praying for the Heavenly King's blessings, the increase of blessings and wisdom, and the abundance of treasures, so that disciples can have the wealth to support their parents, make offerings to the Three Jewels, give to poor sentient beings, cultivate all good Dharma, and successfully practice Bodhi.
It can be seen from this that the king of heaven requires altruism. In terms of family responsibility, honor parents, benefit all sentient beings in the world, and protect the country and the people. Cultivate good roots in the Dharma and cultivate Bodhi. This is all in line with the Celestial King's Virtue and Will. During the Xuanzong era of the Tang Dynasty, the ancestor of Bukong invited the army of the Heavenly King and successfully repelled the invasion of the Tibetan Tubo army. So at that time, there was the following praise:
Good for all things, only the other side of the water side protects the borders, and only I am the king
The good general was entrusted to the town to consolidate the seal and be strong, and carefully served the Xi Xuan Tuo Fuxiang
On the star palace, the victory is back to the shelves, and the Chonggang spirit statue stands tall and solemn
The mighty god shook the sun, subdued the wilderness, and was loyalβ‘ and praised the saint Tang with wings
At present, there are those who make offerings to practice the Treasure Heavenly King Method, although the lineage system is different, but their most fundamental principles are the same, and the intention must be right, corresponding to the Heavenly King. The Heavenly King is known as the Protector of the Dharma, and it is one of his most important missions to protect the Dharma for eternity.
Although the Heavenly King, the Earth and the Heavens are all manifestations of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, it is precisely because they are manifestations that in the Eastern Esoteric Practice, those who involve the heavenly beings often recite the Buddha's mantra of mercy and protection to the heavens, so as to increase the prestige and power of the heavenly beings. In addition to the Buddha's mantras, especially such as the Dizang Dharma, the Buddha's top deity to the Buddha Dharani, and the Golden Light Sutra, are all very popular methods for the heavens.
"The Virtuous and Foolish Sutra: Mahasna Youpo Yipin Twenty-first" cloud: "The king of heaven replied. I am the King of Heaven. Heard from afar. Whoever calls me by name. I've heard it all. to call me so. Increase my power. Will's dependents. I also regained my divine power. and ghosts. Guardians are human. Increase its blessings. Leave the suffering. β
"The Sutra of the Heavenly Kings of Bishamen": "Pondering without interruption." for the king of Bishamen and his dependents. Reciting kindness, so auspicious praises should often be recited. Let the king of heaven get all the auspicious celebrations. May the men and women of the King of Bishamen be married and assisted by marriage. and even the messengers and the battalions. The ten benefits praised by the Buddha of the National Border have all been obtained. The so-called one is pure faith and two precepts. The two smell the four. The five receive the wisdom of the six. Seven forms and eight powers. Nine debates, ten colors, sounds, fragrances, touches, wealth and freedom. Open your eyes in the Dharma. Attaining the holy fruit and obtaining the nectar. He also got 37 qualities to help the Buddha's way. The reciter makes this vow every day. β
This is a similar win-win practice, where we praise the offerings, and after reciting, giving alms, releasing the living beings, and giving alms, and then dedicating to the Heavenly King and his dependents, or any of the celestial protectors such as the Earth and the Heavens, the Great Auspicious Heavens, and so on, they will increase their own and their dependents' power of virtue, and in turn, they will also be grateful for the sincerity of the practitioners, and they will always add their thoughts to fulfill their wishes.
If we break through the limitations of religion and look at it from a higher perspective, King Bishamen is our senior brother and senior brother, but he has cultivated very well, and his power is incomparably great. In the Sutra of Wisdom and Foolishness, the king of heaven calls a female layman a sister, and the female layman is puzzled, saying that you are a noble celestial and I am a mortal, so why do you call it that? The king of heaven said: "The Buddha is the Dharma King, and the Heavenly Father of the people, I am the Youposai (the male layman at home), and you are the Youpoyi (the female layman at the home), the same Dharma taste, so I speak sisters." β
Cultivating good fortune without dwelling in good fortune, not being bound by seeking good fortune, continuing to practice samadhi upward, and being at ease with the mind, this is the great root instrument. There is no way to fix anything, don't forget the original intention, it is the key!
The cause of the birth of the Dharma is not for sentient beings to fulfill their worldly wishes, but for attaining the Buddha's knowledge, liberating them from birth and death, and attaining the Buddhahood. And because of the poor blessings of sentient beings at the end of the Dharma, there is "to hook up with desire, so that you can enter the wisdom of the Buddha." "All kinds of convenience. The later order into the wisdom of the Buddha is the essence of the Buddha. If you study Buddhism for the sake of seeking wealth, seeking induction, and seeking all kinds of induction, this is also possible, and the Bodhisattva will also fulfill his wishes, otherwise there will not be many ways to seek wealth. However, it is necessary to initiate a greater mind, seek the bodhi, and benefit the heart of sentient beings.
Seeing and hearing, accumulating knowledge of the Dharma, and feeling things -- if these are not used in practice, they are easy to grow and slow down. If we get rid of habits in our minds and look at our thoughts, our troubles will disappear day by day, and we will make progress day by day. If you hold the holy name of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, you will take six roots of your thoughts, and over time, you will be scattered and self-eliminated, and gradually gain one mind, which is the only way to practice.
This is: Fuhui double cultivation, director harmony. Now there are more people who are cultivating the Fa and cultivating blessings in things. Specifically, such as chanting the Buddha and holding mantras, worshiping the Buddha, giving alms, and offering to the bottom. These are things, and they are blessings. And reason is on the side of the heart. Such as precepts and wisdom, meditation on samadhi, and so on. Of course, there is not necessarily a strict distinction between the two, for example, when reciting the Buddha, if you take six root thoughts, all thoughts will be one, in fact, it is the cultivation of blessing and wisdom. Reciting the Tibetan Sutra and the Diamond Sutra into the meditation with the text and implementing it into life is also a double cultivation of blessing and wisdom. If it's just a verbal recitation, asking for merit, that's just cultivating blessings.
In the Diamond Sutra induction record, the ancients had recited many Diamond Sutras for decades, and they felt that they could recover from disasters and prolong their lives. But I wonder, why didn't I see any mention of their enlightenment?
