Chapter 1167 Mandala
Xue Keqiao's book "Indian Esoteric Buddhism" talks about some Siddhi mantras and goddess mantras in Hinduism, and after some practitioners recite them, the goddess or the great heaven appears and bestows them on Siddhi. According to the book:
Once, there was a famine in the land, there was a lack of food and drink, and livestock and birds began to die. In times of such calamities, people also do not have access to meat.
People went to the immortals, Muni and Sidharas to complain, but no one could protect them.
Later, people sought refuge in Gautama, the immortal who recited the words of Gayadori. During the evening prayer, Gautama told the goddess Savidri about the suffering of the people, and the goddess was satisfied, and rained it to ward off the calamity, and gave money and food.
People received such comfort through Gautama, and the people praised him as a great practitioner.
This aroused the jealousy of the other immortals, and they brought a cow to his sacrificial ground, which he touched to keep the cow out of the way, and he was convicted of killing the cow.
This conspiracy brought his reputation to the ground. At this time, he remembered the World-Honored Mother, who heard the cries of the devout believers and immediately appeared to denounce the immortals, reveal the truth, and leave those involved in the conspiracy infertile and without offspring.
It should be noted that before the birth of Buddhism in India, the terms Shizun and Bhagavad originally referred to the three-phase gods such as the Great Freedom Heaven and Vishnu, and the rise of Buddhism became the title of Buddha.
The king's son, Mya-shi, learns the mantra from the sons of Muni: Om ain hrin klin camundayai namah, but only remembers the first half of Om ain hrin. Even so, he chanted it repeatedly, and the goddess appeared for him and fulfilled his wish.
Sasikaya, the princess of the Kazuki Kingdom, sees Myaki in the woods, falls in love with him, and decides to marry him.
He passed the news to his parents through his girlfriend. The king, knowing his daughter's thoughts, held a ceremony to choose a son-in-law, and invited Miaoshi. Under the influence of the goddess, the princess does not accept anyone.
Insulted, the kings who had come to run for election threatened the king with war. Seeing that war was imminent, the king let his daughter and Miaoshi escape.
But he said, "I came at the behest of the World-Honored Mother's orders, and I only followed her orders to leave, and everything that happened was done by the World-Honored Mother."
The king of the corpse also silently recited the World-Honored Mother. At this time, some kings expressed their neutrality, and the victorious war started the war. The Mother of the Worlds rode a lion and manifested the image of Ranacandi, fighting to defend her devotees.
When Shengzhan saw Zhunti Candi, he thought it was an ordinary woman and ordered the soldiers to capture it. But Shakti's power killed them. Victorious came to fight, but was also killed. Miaoshi marries the princess.
The goddess here, Candi, later evolved into the Buddhist Mother of Zhun Ti.
The above story is very similar to the Buddha-figure given to Siddhi by the Buddha-figure of Esoteric Buddhism, which is the appearance of the Buddha-figure, satisfying his wishes, and belonging to the method of other powers.
What inspires us is that reciting mantras and prayers takes a long time, not just a few days of reciting them. The woman and the old man mentioned above can worship the Big Dipper because of perseverance.
This also illustrates the special importance of reciting the corresponding method. Many people ask for marriage, wealth, and have not responded much for several years.
Actually, it's impossible to have no induction, you don't have to make it so complicated, you recite Nam Mu Jizo Bodhisattva or Nam Mu Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva for an hour every day, for three consecutive years, every day without interruption, it is impossible to have no news, even if it doesn't work, the Bodhisattva will come and tell you the cause.
It's just that too many people, in the past three years, have interrupted and changed the method, and it has become commonplace.
The god of wealth is worshipped by Buddhism and Hinduism, but the evolution of Buddhism has become the famous King of Bishaman.
There are no empty mantras: Ji Shou Sun and Moon Yan Mo Lu Torch Veda Buddha Buddha. and wealth and other heavenly immortals to provide enough. The so-called torch Veda is Kupila, and he is also one of the billions of avalokitesvara bodhisattvas.
Kuvera, later known as Kuvera in Sanskrit and Pali, is close to the contemporary Chinese pronunciation of "Gubeila" or "Guweila".
In Hindu mythology, the Yaksha clan is in charge of wealth, and a protector who guards the north of Mount Meru in the direction of the Dharma Protector, that is, the Buddha Celestial King of Duowen, that is, Bishamonten, the brother of the Ten Rakshasa Demon King Ravana.
Brahma rewarded Kuvera for his thousand-year asceticism by granting him immortality and the position of wealth manager. According to the Mahabharata, Kuvra acquired the island of Sri Lanka as its capital and the fantastic spaceship Vimana as a special vehicle.
When Ravana captured Sri Lanka, Kuvara moved his position to the Alaka Mountains in the Himalayas.
The mandala (mantra) of Kubira in India: Om Kuberaya Nama, chanting Kubira mandala summons wealth.
Kupila, the god of wealth, the king of the yaksha and kinara, the son of the Brahma Vishrava. In reward for his good deeds and penance, the Great Brahma named him as a god, making him the guardian of the underground treasures and the protector of the north, one of the protectors of the world, and gave him a flying chariot.
According to the Ramayana, Kupila once possessed the island of Ranga but was banished by his half-brother Ravana. He moved to the Himalayas, where the capital of Aroja was built for the god of creation, Visupra. Inside the fortress of Mount Meru there is his hidden garden.
Kupila and his accompanying deities may have originally been earth gods, and thus he was always associated with the earth, with the earth and with the mountains.
Later, he gradually evolved into the characteristics of the god of abundance, with a belly like a large ball, two hands, three legs, eight teeth, and one eye.
He is associated with the earth, the mountains, all the treasures of the underground, such as minerals and jewels, and wealth in general.
He is the true representative of wealth, prosperity and glory and not only distributes, but preserves and protects all the treasures of the universe.
When you pray to Him with a spirit of devotion, He will bless you with money, wealth, material comforts, and success, and He will also give you happiness, peace, and success to fill your life with wealth and usefulness.
The image of Kupila is spread among the people far beyond the orthodoxy of Hinduism. He also entered Buddhist mythology. In Tibetan Buddhism, he is one of the important protector deities.
It is said that Kupila commanded the medicine fork and other spirits, with a medicine fork appearance - short and fat, two arms, three legs, and eight teeth, and lived in a palace in the Kailash Mountain in the northern part of Mount Meru.
He is in charge of the nine treasures and all the riches of the world. This means that the money in your pocket, your income, and the money that others owe you are in charge of.
In his left hand, he holds a long pocket (or silver rat) that contains treasures that can be squeezed at any time to spit it out. He has the titles of King of Yakshas, King of Wealth, King of Kinara, etc.
