Chapter 20: The Mean
Countless classics are all about the same question, if you want to read countless classics, and then you can get the answer, it is too troublesome, and it is not realistic at all.
Therefore, in fact, it is enough to read a classic, or even just a sentence or a word...... , that's enough.
"If you don't want anything, you deserve fate. In fact, it's as simple as that, it's just these eight words, the Buddha told the little monk the answer, and he didn't make the slightest reservation at all.
It's a pity that why you can be fated without desire, but there are still countless people who can't figure it out in a daze...... , another question.
So, another little monk asked the Buddha this question, of course, it may also be the original little monk.
Shaman asked the Buddha: What is the most powerful, and which is the clearest?
Buddha said: Endure humiliation and strength.
The little monk asked the Buddha, "Who is the most powerful, and who is the smartest?"
The Buddha's ancestors answered who had the greatest strength, and said four words simply and clearly: "Those who can endure humiliation have the greatest strength." Then, he was afraid that the little monk would not understand, so he explained further.
The Buddha said: Do not harbor evil causes, and add safety and health. Ninjas are innocent and must be respected.
has been treated unfairly and humiliating, but still has no evil thoughts of revenge on others, and is as peaceful and steady as before, this kind of ninja is not evil, of course, will be respected by others.
Then the Buddha began to answer, what kind of person is the smartest, and the answer is really ...... , can scare the individual to death.
The Buddha's words: The dirt of the heart is completely extinguished, and it is pure and undefiled, which is the clearest.
The Buddha replied, "All the unclean thoughts in the heart are wiped out, like a diamond gemstone that is completely unblemished, such a person ...... , the smartest!" Then, he was afraid that the little monk still didn't understand, so he explained it again and again.
Buddha said: There is no heaven and earth, caught today, all the ten directions, nothing is seen, nothing is known, nothing is not heard, all wisdom is obtained, it can be said that it is clear!
Sincerely...... If you really reach this kind of thing, from the time when the heavens and the earth were not opened, to this day, all the things in the world of the ten directions, there are no people who can't see, hear, or know, and who have obtained all the sources of wisdom can't be considered smart, then, who else...... Can it be called clever?
Therefore, it is not a great thing to predict the future, if it is really possible to achieve "the heart is completely clean and undefiled." That is, it is natural to achieve "no desire and no desire, and deserve fate." ”。
In other words, after obtaining all the sources of wisdom, it is natural to be able to predict the future.
But how to get rid of the dirt in the heart, what is the dirt in the heart that the Buddha said, how to get rid of it, what is the relationship between this dirt and desire, and why should we stay away from desire...... And so on, blah, blah, how to answer the continuous questions?
There are all the answers, and the Buddha actually spoke all of them, so it is actually quite difficult to be a Buddha, and you have to answer countless questions from people.
So, is there a simple, very specific way to give yourself the ability to predict the future?
Yes, there is really a book that explains the answer to this question thoroughly, and also gives a very simple method, that is...... , "The Mean".
The way of sincerity can be known in advance.
If the country will prosper, there will be prosperity, and if the country will die, there will be demons.
Seeing the yarrow turtle, moving the four bodies.
Good will be prophetic, and bad will be prophetic, and bad will be prophetic.
Therefore, the most sincere is like God.
In "The Mean", there is a big secret, there are countless people who have read this book in the world, and there are also countless people who have explained it.
Even, the so-called golden mean has almost become a kind of truth for people to behave in the world.
However, is the "Middle Mean", a high-level Confucian secret book, about the way of life...... , small books?
No, "The Mean" is far more advanced than "University", in essence, the two are just about a problem.
However, "The Mean" is more profound and detailed.
Among them, it talks about how to predict the future, and also gives a method that is no different from Buddhism - the way of sincerity!
It is very clear that good and bad will come, and good will be propheted, and bad will be propheted, so sincerity is like God.
Therefore, this is the same as the Buddha's answer, "The dirt of the mind is gone, and it is pure and undefiled." Isn't it...... , is there a difference?
Therefore, the real question to be asked is really this question, what is good and what is evil, what is the supreme righteous path that lasts forever, and what is ...... , the ...... of the unknown , the Devil's Way.
What "The Mean" is really about is actually this problem.
Joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness have not yet occurred, and they are in the middle.
It is said to be the sum of the middle sections.
Those who are in the middle are also the great capital of the world.
Those who are harmonious are also the way of the world.
Joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness are human emotions, and these emotions can naturally trigger people's desires.
If you like money, beauty, fame, fortune and wealth, people will continue to pursue it; when you are angry that others bully you, people will have thoughts of revenge; when you are sad that you are always unlucky, people will either indulge yourself completely, or regain your strength, and then work hard; if you are satisfied with your current situation, you will be very happy in your heart, and then carefully maintain the current situation.
In other words, in fact, the desire triggered by emotions is the great motivation that keeps people moving forward.
Therefore, desire cannot be broken, and it is absolutely ...... , can't be broken!
However, desires can be kept away, and the emotions of joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness do not always exist, they also have ...... , not yet sent.
The state of silence that has not yet developed emotions is called Zhong in Confucianism.
And after the emotions arise, they can immediately settle down in silence, know that they must be restrained, and control their desires to stay away from themselves, which is ...... , it is called and.
Therefore, the state of silent meditation is the foundation of the people of the world, and it always maintains the state of "the dirt of the heart is completely eliminated and the mind is pure and undefiled", which is the way of the people of the world to achieve spiritual attainment.
So, is this the case?
It's a pity, no!
This is not the path of cultivation, and there is no path of cultivation at all, if you have the Tao in your heart, you have the concept of cultivation, then you have already gone wrong...... , 108,000 miles.
This is just a kind of reluctance, and it is just a kind of experience that is described in words, and all the cultivation scriptures in the world are also like this.
Therefore, only after thinking about it for oneself and finding one's own way of cultivation can there be no more problems, and there are some ...... that belong only to oneself , I have learned.
There's no way to say this, and it's useless to say it, just like the classic "The Mean", there is a method in it - sincerity!
However, the fact that the author has achieved sincerity does not mean that the reader can also be sincere, which is why the person who can really know in advance has been ...... since ancient times. , are very few for very few reasons.
If you still don't understand even the way of sincerity, and you don't understand how to do it, you can make yourself a prescient person.
Well, let's talk about a very specific and practical method.
The trip of a husband and a gentleman is to cultivate oneself quietly and to cultivate virtue through frugality.
It is not indifferent, there is no ambition, it is not quiet, there is no far-reaching.
The husband must learn, and the talent must be learned.
Non-learning, no broad-mindedness, non-ambition, no learning.
If you are lewd and slow, you will not be able to excite your spirit, and if you are impatient, you will not be able to temper your sex.
The years and the times pass, the meaning and the day go away, and then they become withered, and many do not receive the world.
Sorrowful and poor, will be restored...... And how?
That's why, Mr. Wolong is amazing, the fundamental reason why he can foresee, if you don't even think this is concrete, or confused, alas...... , then...... , it's really useless.
