Chapter 21: Keeping the Mind Still
Absolute health, the mind is as transparent and flawless as a diamond gem, reducing the consumption of one's own essence to nothingness, just like a child is not born before, still in his mother's body, the loss and replenishment of essence and spirit, almost balanced with each other of the innate time, in fact, is the so-called refining of the spirit back to the void.
This matter can barely be said, but in the latter step, there is no need to painstakingly read the world's classics, and then look for the answer to this question.
There are indeed answers in the classics, but those answers that are barely described in words are useless at all, and even many descriptions are simply wrong.
The Tao is indeed indescribable, therefore, even the Tao cannot be described, but it is necessary to describe how to refine the void and then merge the Tao, isn't it just pointing to the virtual characters of fashion dramas on TV, but saying that he has seen such a person in reality?
Therefore, I will reluctantly talk nonsense, what is the ...... , refining the void and merging the way.
The answer given by the Buddha is "Pure heart and will, but you will reach the Tao", therefore, how to refine the way of emptiness, is just these four words - meditation and will!
These four words are very, very, very, very...... The Buddha told the world these four words, which are really super generous and really super compassionate.
So, what do these four words mean, and why do you reach the realm of meditation and willfulness, and then you can reach the Tao, that is, the Tao?
The Buddha made an analogy in the back, saying that "such as grinding the mirror, the dirt is removed and stored", and after the bronze mirror is polished well, the rust and dirt are removed, and the bronze mirror, which is originally bright and can shine on people, can naturally become transparent and bright again.
In other words, meditation and guarding the will are like an act of grinding a mirror, and the ultimate goal is to attain the Tao, that is, to refine the path of emptiness.
So, how is it that meditation and self-discipline are so similar to the act of grinding mirrors, and what is the Dongdong that hinders the way of merging, or the Dongdong that has a lot of things...... And what?
It's a pity that the Buddha said that "if you keep your mind and keep your will, you will reach the Tao", and did not explain anything further, so if you want to know what the Dongdong that hinders the way of the Tao, what it is, and how to destroy it, you must look for it from other places.
In fact, the Buddha has said all of the answers to this question, and he has not only said it once, but almost explained it over and over again.
However, all Buddhist scriptures are translated classics, and the world does not know what the Buddha's original words are, and the problem of refining the void and the Tao cannot be explained sincerely, even if it is the Buddha...... , and it can only be explained reluctantly.
So, the answer to this question is either very long and detailed, but the description is very subtle, as if it were an alien dialect, or it is extremely concise and accurate, and when you say a few words, it is already very thorough.
Those mysterious explanations that seem to be extraterrestrial words are really very long and detailed, so it is too troublesome to answer them with those descriptions, and if you are a little sloppy and sloppy, and you say the wrong word, then it is likely to be counterproductive.
So, let's just take those concise descriptions to answer this question randomly.
Buddha said: If a person forges iron, go to the vessel into a vessel, and the instrument is fine. Those who learn the Tao will be clean and pure.
This is the answer, the Buddha said: "The blacksmith keeps forging the iron, removing the bad dregs in it, and after refining it into iron, it will naturally be very delicate and very good." How can a person who has learned the Tao attain the ultimate way? After removing the dirt from his heart, his behavior will naturally be pure. ”
In other words, what is meditation, which is to remove the dirt of the mind and purify oneself...... Behavior!
"Meditation" should actually be translated upside down and translated as "tranquility", which is barely more accurate.
Moreover, the mind is actually separated, two things that are cause and effect of each other, and if the dirt of the heart is not removed, the behavior will naturally not be purified, just like when the iron is wrought, the dregs are not removed.
Therefore, it should be "the heart is quiet and willful, but it will reach the Tao", so as to be more prepared.
However, it is still not said what the dirt is, and this description only says a result, and the behavior will naturally be purified after removing the dirt from the heart.
So, what is the dirt in the heart, let's put it aside for the time being, and after reluctantly explaining the Shouzhi in the back, then go back and look at the cause of all this - the dirt in the heart is gone, and it is clean and undefiled.
Perhaps, it is natural to be able to feel some and know this heart...... , what the hell is it.
Shaman asked the Buddha, "What is good?"
Buddha said: Those who do the Tao and keep the truth are good, and those who are in harmony with the Tao are great.
The Buddha said: Knowledgeable and loving the Tao, the Tao will be difficult to know, and the will to serve the Tao, its way is very great.
The above are actually two related records from different periods, but they are actually talking about the same thing - Shouzhi!
The little monk asked the Buddha, "Teacher, what is good?
The Buddha replied, "When you practice, you always keep the truth, then this is good." If you have firm ambitions and keep moving forward on the path of cultivation wholeheartedly, then this is the greatest goodness in the world!"
Therefore, I don't know how long it took, the Buddha said again: "If you have a wide range of knowledge and are very interested in the way of cultivation, it will be difficult to reach the realm of refining the path of harmony with emptiness." On the other hand, if a person who has not seen and heard much and looks stupid has only been unswervingly committed to advancing his own path of cultivation, then in fact, this person has already attained the ...... of refining the path of emptiness , the realm of great goodness!"
Therefore, what is keeping the will, keeping the true good thoughts in one's heart, being unswerving, constantly moving forward on the path of one's own life, and always respecting this path of cultivation, this ...... , that is, to keep the will.
After the mind is calm and the will is all clear, if you look back at the heart and mind, it is not difficult to understand what kind of heart dirt you want to get rid of, so that your behavior is clean and unclean.
All those who hinder the good thoughts in their hearts, the good thoughts in their hearts, make them unable to firmly protect themselves, cannot move forward unswervingly, and hinder their own spiritual path...... , it's the dirt of the heart!
Then, there is really this kind of terrible thing, which can completely blind people's original good thoughts, and bring people to ...... , other on the road?
In fact, the answer to this question, even if the Buddha no longer answers, but anyone who is not extremely evil can feel something, and almost be able to understand what the so-called heart dirt is.
That's right, after a hundred turns, I finally returned to "The Mean" and how it was told...... , the question of that.
"The predicate of the Mandate of Heaven is sexuality, and the predicate of recklessness is the Tao. The reason why life is alive is that you know that you have to eat when you are hungry, you have to rest when you are tired, and you have enough rest when you are full, so you have to have a play, find a partner to have a baby, and then wait for the next day to come.
Such a lively and interesting constant activity, rather than being like a stone man, forever stuck in one place, unmoving, unmoving, under the blows of wind and rain, and the scorching heat of the sun, is because all life ...... , all have their own nature.
Therefore, when you are hungry, you will feel uncomfortable and sorrowful, and then hurry to find those foods that can fill your stomach, and when you meet by chance, you will see a life of the opposite sex, and you will immediately love each other and launch a brave pursuit of each other...... , etc., and so on, and so on, all because of nature, will start to act.
However, in order to satisfy the desires caused by emotions in their hearts, in order to achieve the goals in their hearts, some beings abandon their own good thoughts, and choose to kill other beings cruelly according to the instructions of evil thoughts.
If you follow the instructions of good thoughts, you will not be able to achieve your goals?
Actually, it's okay, but it's just that my heart is too impatient, too urgent, too angry, too sad, and too thirsty, so I naturally choose a faster and labor-saving ...... , the result of evil thoughts.
Therefore, the way of cultivation is the way of forbearance and humiliation, the way of keeping good thoughts, the way of being one's own master, subduing one's own demons, and being truly spontaneous - the way of bravery!
So, isn't that the case?
It's a fart, it's just talking, in fact, it's not at all...... , fart.
