Chapter 1115: Outer Protector
Because the great auspicious goddess and the master have practiced together, they have made vows together. Therefore, our world of samva, as the place of Shakyamuni's Buddhism, can hear her name and teachings, and receive her blessings.
In other worlds, those sentient beings may not have heard of the Dharma of the Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden, for no reason.
In fact, the teachings we hear about now all have good roots and causes that have accumulated over many lifetimes. Just like the Dharma of Avalokiteshvara and Jizo Bodhisattva, the world of samsara is deep, so the ease of practice is corresponding.
The Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden as the Shakya's Outer Protector: The so-called Outer Protector refers to the Dharma protector who is biased towards the cause and interests of the world, and protects the practice of becoming Bodhi, while the inner protector is those who are out of the world and guide liberation, such as the King of Fudo, the King of the Horse's Head, and the Rakshasa Venerable.
When the master became a Buddha, the auspicious goddess played the role of the god of wealth and gave all kinds of food, clothing, jewelry and other equipment. Since it is the protector of the cause, it is easy to get the sense of cultivation, and there is no need to doubt it.
Jingyun: The benevolent person is good at listening, in the past life has lived immeasurably, at that time there was a Buddha, called Indra Prime Minister King Rulai, should be offered, is omniscient, clear and sufficient, good death, world solution, supreme master, adjust the husband, heavenly teacher, Buddha Shizun, appeared in the world, life expectancy thousand years old.
At that time, there was Youposai, who was famous and virtuous, intelligent and soft, fearless, and said for the four people, and there were many dependents in all of them. He had the eldest son, whose name was Innocent
Before the immeasurable eons, the Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden was the eldest son of Shakyamuni Buddha. The father said to his son, "If I become a Buddha, you have to give food to all living beings." At that time, I will give you the title of Buddha.
Therefore, before the dust tribulation, this father and son had already made an immortal agreement. The father should teach sentient beings to be free from the suffering of life and death, and the son should give sentient food and treasure to help the Tao. One is the law of birth, and the other is the law of the world.
Now in the era of the end of the Dharma of Shakyamuni Buddhism, due to the agreement and oath of Shakyamuni's father and son in the past, if you regularly practice the Dharma of the Great Auspicious Heavenly Maiden and become attached to her, you will not worry about eating and drinking, and you will not worry about material use.
It is not a problem to have abundant food and clothing, and even wealth, because this is the wish of the goddess.
In addition, if you make offerings to Shakyamuni Buddha, you will naturally not worry about the tools for your life. In addition to the vows of the Master, the immeasurable support of the Heavenly Protectors, and the blessings of the Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden, she promised to give food and other utensils.
Jingyun: At that time, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the Bodhisattva of Merit Heaven and Earth, said: "Good man, I made the same wish at the Buddha House of King Indra at that time: Even when I live in the world, I can do all kinds of hard and difficult austerities, give alms, forbid and indulge, and meditate, help all things, hear a lot of deeds, and practice all kinds of difficulties.
If it is my father, in the next life when he is 100 years old, in the world of troubles, resentment, defilement, confusion, and evil, he becomes an anuttara sambodhi, and I am now a meritorious person in that country.
In the realm of Shakyamuni Buddha, sentient beings and their dependents can be given supreme clothing, food, and physical aid. That is, in front of Shakyamuni Buddha, he received the three bodhisattvas of Anuttara.
When the master is 100 years old and the five turbid evil worlds, he becomes the supreme Bodhi, and at this time, the great auspicious goddess becomes the sponsor.
If the sentient beings in the world of samsara are violent, evil, rude, and have no compassion, and there is no retribution for repeated evil deeds and disgusting, creating all kinds of negative karma, and inspiring a bad environment. If the wind and rain come from time to time or there is a drought, and the cold and heat are not in harmony with all kinds of disasters, all the fruits, grains, herbs, and delicacies of all living beings will be destroyed and their essence will be robbed......
At the same time, the wealth and assets of sentient beings decay and loss, and the great auspicious celestial maiden will increase the merit, wisdom, and power of sentient beings, covering their negative karma and giving birth to confidence.
The Celestial Maiden also makes all sentient beings have no shortage of resources, and the money, food, clothing, and houses that they depend on for their livelihood are not lacking, and they are satisfied at will.
At the same time, it is necessary to go one step further, bless the mind, make the sentient beings stop evil and do good, so that the Three Jewels will live forever, the Three Jewels of Shaolong, and the Dharma will flourish. and guide sentient beings to move towards and attain supreme bodhi.
After the Celestial Maiden made this vow before the Nyorai, the Indra Prime Minister Nyorai taught the Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden to make the world water house heart dharani.
And he said, "With this dharani mind, you can attain many sentient beings, and make countless sentient beings abundant, fruitful, and able to survive the torrent of afflictions."
From this, it can be seen that:
The Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden Dharma can block the loss of sentient beings' assets and increase wealth.
Let the growth confidence not reverse.
Bless the evil and do the good, leading to the supreme bodhi.
Jingyun: At that time, the meritorious heaven held all the seeds in a vessel and presented the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara Mahasattva and said, "I am now giving good to my husband with all these seeds, and I wish to fulfill all my desires in order to increase all the seeds."
It also enables me to sufficiency the means of sentient beings in the four heavens, to pull out the afflictions of evil and tyrannical sentient beings, and to settle down in the seed of Bodhi.
At that time, Avalokiteshvara Mahasattva held the seed vessel in his hand and said to the ten directions: "All the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions, and all the dragons present and present, may they remember me so that all the seeds, sprouts, stems, branches and leaves, fruits and grains, and medicinal tastes, earth flavors, sentient beings, and good Dharma essences of all the four heavens will grow unharmed."
As mentioned above, the Great Auspicious Celestial Maiden had a conversation with her master and Jizo Bodhisattva, and now, she is offering Avalokiteshvara with a pot of seeds.
This vessel seed offering to Guanyin Bodhisattva is actually a symbol of the flourishing growth of all seeds, flowers and fruits in the four heavens. At the same time, the three treasures of the table are continuous. Therefore, it is an extremely important dependent object for the great auspicious celestial maiden to offer to the bodhisattva.
The origin of the seeds of a vessel is profound:
Flower and fruit medicine and other plant seeds, the table is full of blessings.
The seeds of the Three Jewels are continuous, and the Dharma is upheld, propagated, and fruitful.
Good roots, Bodhi seeds.
Actually, there is a secret of the Dharma cultivation here, if you want to increase your merit in terms of use, or if you want to have a prosperous son or family descendant, you can offer the Buddha and Bodhisattva with grain seeds, or grain seeds, and so on.
Therefore, in the diagram of dependent origination, there is a deliberate addition of rice and other things, which is actually to increase wealth, good fortune and even prosperity.
Srila Avalokiteshvara's blessings and vows to the great auspicious goddess:
So that all the wishes of the merit heaven will be fulfilled.
Always make merit heaven abundant for all sentient beings.
It can also educate all sentient beings and develop bodhichitta away from all evils.
He also causes all sentient beings to be born in the heavens from the three evil realms.
Guanyin Bodhisattva gathers the power of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the Ten Directions and the Three Worlds, and blesses all the wishes of the merit heaven. What is the wish of the great auspicious goddess to benefit the wealth of sentient beings, to protect the good roots to ripen and bear fruit.
The second is to bless the great auspicious celestial maidens to enrich all sentient beings. Bestowing wealth on all sentient beings is the wish of the great auspicious goddess.
Thirdly, so that the great auspicious celestial maidens can educate sentient beings, stay away from negative karma, practice all good dharmas, and develop bodhichitta. The front is the gain of merit, here the gain of wisdom, the wisdom of confusion, and the foundation of blessing, is also not secondary.
