Chapter 1083: The Seven Great Debates
On the throne of the lion lotus, the son of the Buddhas, Miao Yinzun,
The body is red and holds the scriptures with a sword, and bows to the Lion of Manjushri.
Aquatic lotus flower sun and moon mat, the mother of all Buddhas,
The blue body holds the sword and holds the scriptures, and bows to the Miaoyin Heavenly Maiden.
If one practises the above-mentioned rituals regularly, recites the mantra one or two hundred times, and keeps the samaya vows regularly, the merits of the teachings are as stated in the teachings: the mantra of the twenty-one words, recited a hundred times a day, one will not forget the state of the mantra, one will be able to learn the language a thousand times, and one thousand times will be able to recite five thousand verses, and will be able to know all the words without obstacles, and will be able to compile sutras and commentaries, and will be able to comprehend the profound meaning of the Abhidharma, and will be able to manifest one's own supernatural powers, and finally one will be able to attain freedom. If there is a special cause, it can be achieved in one day, and secondly, it can be achieved in two days, and it can be practiced for three days. Even if there are no special causes, it can be achieved. For example, dreaming of the rising sun and moon, picking flowers, plowing fields, drinking ink, writing and reading the Bible happily, and acquiring weapons and scriptures, etc., are undoubtedly signs of increasing wisdom. This is what the Indian Mada Pandita "Karmahiri" said.
There was a 99-year-old man in India who was illiterate, and after a day and night of devotional practice of the Dharma, he met Manjushri in person, and became an eight-year-old boy who became a Pandita scholar without hindering his knowledge of the five realms.
Patangpa Sangyal sought the Dharma from him, and the lineage was passed on to the 9th Karmapa Wangchuk Dorje (Vajra), which he included in his compilation of the Knowing One Perfection, and all the practices of Manjushri are the most special.
Most of the people who take the karma wisdom pill made by practicing this method become very smart and skillful.
The omniscient Maipom Rinpoche attained an extremely special appearance at the age of 15 when he practiced the Manjushri Lion. His Holiness himself said, "From that point on, whether you read sutra or tantric texts, you can understand them at a glance, and you only need to listen to the teachings without having to bother with the lama explaining them. This is the total merit that the Dharma can manifest in the mind.
In Yuan Yi's previous life, in order to be able to obtain unhindered debate, he practiced the Tang Mi Great Debate Talent Heavenly Maiden Method.
The tongue is the seedling of the heart, symbolizing the fire of the heart. We taste the taste with our tongues, and we can use it to speak generously. But if the tongue leaves the saliva, it will be dry and stagnant, and there is no reason to be at ease. Therefore, it is known that the "氵 (i.e. water)" on the "tongue" can "live" people!
The essence and liquid of the whole body are all taken by the water. The saliva on the tongue is sufficient, and it does not deviate from the five flavors. It is "both fire and water", the harmony of yin and yang.
The oral industry is the hub for transforming itself. Among the heavens, only the great debate can make merit through the mouth and become samadhi. Therefore, by practicing the Heavenly Law of Great Debate, you will first be able to stop your foul language and close the door to your evil words.
But the "debate" here is not the so-called strong words and reasoning of people in the world, or being unforgiving. Rather, it is a "debate" that can destroy the bad habits of sentient beings, cut off delusions, and stabilize their correct views. If expanded, there are seven items as follows.
The first is the quick argument.
Swift is fast, swift is immediate. When the great debater hears all the Dharma, he can quickly realize the wonderful meaning, stand up to the corresponding Siddi, and achieve great achievements without the slightest obstacle, which is called "quick debate";
The second is to argue.
There may be people in the world who are enlightened when they hear it, but because of their dull roots and lack of spirit, the level of their enlightenment stays at the most superficial or middle level. Only the great debater can understand all the wonderful Dharma proclaimed by the Buddhas at a glance, go straight to its roots, and go deep into its roots. This kind of great supernatural power without barriers is called "good debate";
The third is to argue endlessly for music.
For the full grasp of all things in the Dharma realm, I am afraid that the heavens are the best if they have to argue alone, but the true body of all the ten thousand dharmas is endless, and the ordinary heavens and even the bodhisattvas are not willing to talk about it all over again, but only to open up a thing or two to the sentient beings who have the fate of the root, and do not answer if they do not ask. If she learns the Dharma with joy, she will achieve the highest happiness, so that she can speak horizontally, vertically, and unhindered in the Dharma realm, even if there is no one who asks for the Dharma, she is turning into all phenomena at any time, constantly speaking the Dharma for sentient beings, leading you to break the door of life and death, and ascend to the right path to Nirvana. This kind of tireless and long-lasting speech is called "endless debate";
Fourth, it is indisputable.
Although there is a mouthful of gold, it is difficult to persuade evil people. For the destruction of heresy flourishing, the heavens can do it as they can. However, due to the fact that heresies often cite Buddhism as their own basis and misinterpret and disagree, debaters often have to make a detailed screening before they can choose their evils and dispel them one by one. The great debate is able to achieve the Vajra Dharma Tooth and the Lotus Dharma Tongue with Prajna Virtue, which can eliminate all questions and jokes, and make the Dharma widely spread without breaking off. This special power is called "indisputable";
The fifth is the follow-up defense.
When ignorance is activated, sentient beings have two kinds of attachment, namely "human self" and "dharma self." The so-called "real" represents solidity and tenacity, which is difficult to resolve. "Man" refers to all things, and "Fa" refers to all phenomena. Both of these are followed by the word "I" to represent the strong self-grasping of sentient beings. The criterion for judging everything is based on "me", and there is no humility at all. And the Great Debate is based on the wishes of all sentient beings, not out of their own selfish intentions, and they say whatever they want. This kind of function of "following the minds of all sentient beings and knowing the quantity" is called "responding to the argument";
The sixth is the righteous defense.
The "righteousness" here, Fanyun "Ayanta", represents interests, blessings, and glory. Ordinary people's words are biased and biased, and not much of them benefit sentient beings. And what the great debate is preached by heaven can lead to the benefit of all sentient beings. The benefit here is not simply wealth and wealth, but the fulfillment of your virtue and the filling of the physical and mental losses. This kind of great compassion and tenderness is called "righteous defense";
The seventh is the supreme argument of all the worlds.
In the eyes of the laity, the first thing is determined by each person's likes and dislikes, and when they are satisfied, they have new goals and expectations. As we go, the first one is always changing, and the mood is always floating. And the great debate is the pure view of the Mahayana, the supreme truth, and the first truth, so that all those who take refuge will receive the ultimate dharma without fail, and will not regress to supreme enlightenment. This unique guiding force is called "the supreme debate in all the worlds."
The above seven kinds of arguments, plus a blind Ming, are the superficial merits of the eight arms of the Great Debate.
Dressed in green clothes, this great debate is clothed in green clothes, and dwells in the sea of perfume in the dense pure land, dominating all water flows. As mentioned at the beginning, if there is water on the tongue, it is "alive", and the great debate is the heavenly achievement of the lotus flower tongue and the vortex water is large, which is the secret merit of all the mouths, also known as "the master of skill" and "the heaven of wonderful sound". She condenses the taste of nectar and sprinkles it on the hearts of all living beings, develops the root of the tongue, enlightens the dialectic, and activates the motivation.
